A beautiful apartment would deserve at least a little ongoing maintenance. For example, a faulty seal at the shower, loose handles at the dishes. Simply improving comfort at minimal cost. It should also be noted that the apartment is located on the sixth floor without an elevator. It would certainly make it easier for us seniors to choose accommodation. And two balls of toilet paper for 6 days for 6 people was also not much. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the accommodation.

The location of this property is excellent within walking distance of all the major sites. It was good to have three bedrooms and air conditioning.

It would have been nice to know how many flights of stairs there were to climb before we arrived. The collection of the keys process took us a long way out of our way and added to the journey. We could have done with basics like tea towel, soap and other essentials.

The apartment was located in a very central part of the city and had a rustic feeling making it cosy. Access to all transportation services and close to a lot of the must see spots.

While I was booking the apartment I hadn't had crucial information. First of all, we had to pick up the keys in a totally different part of the city and cross back to the center where the apartment was. Secondly, there was no warning that we had to pay in advance an extra amount of 250 euros as an insurance for any possible damage at the property. Another thing that we didn't know was that the apartment was on the fifth floor without an elevator. Fortunately we are young and we don't have any difficulties climbing stairs, but what of someone was a bit older or had an injury? I believe these information should be given in the details before booking. Lastly, it would be nice if we had some amenities like napkins, soap, shower gel and maybe a bottle of water waiting for us after all that exercise.

The location was great

To check in, you had to go 20-30 minutes away from the property. Apartment smelled and the hallways smelled like curry. Pillows were so thin and almost useless. The apartment was furnished and decorated very poorly. 5/6 floor, no elevator which is understandable in an old building, and no balcony/deck seems like a waste of a top floor apartment. Bathtub was so cracked the kids were afraid to use it. Only provided half a roll of toilet paper.

Location of the apartment is downtown and this is the only plus of this property. I would advise travelers to read clearly before renting it, as there are many tricks afterwards!!!

1. Key collection station is far away from the flat. So we came from the airport, needed to go across the city tp pickup the keys and only afterwards to go to the apartment. There was no one to meet us at the property. 2. In reality property is on the 6th not on the 5th floor. You need to climb 100 + steps to reach to the top. 3. Deposit. You will be charged deposit for using the flat. I am traveling with Booking all over the world for man y years, and I have never been charged deposit for my stay. It was half of the rent, so prepare yourself with some extra money to be hold by the agency and to get them back only 1 to 3 days after your departure. 4. Deposit is hold to keep the kitchen clean. Agency require from guests to keep the kitchen clean, and not providing a drop of dishwashing liquid!!!! Also, there was no soap in the bathroom!!! And for 6 days for 5 persons, only 2 toilet rolls lol. We are not asking for anything special, basics, soap to wash hands upon arrival in the flat, and if deposit hold for making the kitchen clean, at least provide to guests dish washing liquid, which would be also required even without deposit. 5. We were 5 persons (under point 5). And we had barely space for all 5 of us there. For sure place cannot accommodate 7 persons. Not only that there is not enough space for sleeping, but water boiler is not enough to provide enough hot water. It seams big, yet assume it require to be cleaned from limestones, as really there was not enough water for shower for us. 6. Even you process all registration over booking, get ready for long additional registration on the webpage of the agency, including sharing private data with them. And you cannot process checkin prior to register all guests on your own!!!7.We have contacted the property to check on the type of coffee machine, if it is same as provided on the photos. Agency representative answered us in Portuguese (even we wrote in English) advising us to arrive first and to check it alone!!!

The only positive thing about this accommodation is the city centre location.

The apartment is in an old building up 5 flights of stairs and has no lift. We arrived there and tried to ring the agency to find out how to access the property. Despite repeated calls the phone was not answered whilst we stood in the heat outside for an hour. We eventually had to walk around trying to find the office of the agency. NOT A GOOD START! The apartment has a lot of maintenance issues as follows.|:- 1.The shutter in the main bedroom only closed halfway so I had to use cushions to block the bright sunlight early in the morning. 2. The shower head does not fit properly onto the holder on the wall because it is so heavy and fell onto my child during shower. 3. The bathroom tap is not attached to the sink but is dangling of a pipe hose. 4. The wicker chair in one of the bedrooms which was used by a child was so decayed that it collapsed to the floor as soon as my daughter (not weighing more than 45kg) sat on it ; like a scene from Goldilocks and the 3 bears! 5. The towel rail in the bathroom is not securely attached to the wall and fell on my head as it is high up on the wall. As if this was not enough, no effort had been made to do basic cleaning. The floors were dirty and dusty. Some of the bath towels had black marks on them. The hot water is provided by tank which was only enough for 2 people to shower before water ran out. Not suitable as a accommodation is listed as accommodating 6 people and we are a family of 5. No spare bin bags left in the apartment and no information on when rubbish is collected. The city centre location is the only positive for this terrible accommodation.
