Location is absolutely amazing! Right by the Praça do Comercio, Museums, main avenues and all touristic attractions in the heart of Lisbon. Also very close to Bairro Alto, Castelo de Sao Jorge, Santa Justa, etc and many Carris line 28 stops nearby (Sé, the cathedral one is closest).

The entrance to the hotel are a pretty steep and quite dark set of stairs. I understand the impossibility of installing an elevator in such old buildings, but the climb upstairs each time we returned to the hotel was quite a hard one. The shower was quite small and hard to get around in.

Rooms were spacious, clean with updated decor. Location was perfect. Close to everything. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating.

There is no elevator to bring up luggage to fourth level. The shower in our suite did not have consistent hot water. We were given another room that we could shower in that was much better. They are working on fixing this issue.

perfect location. walking distance to everything you’ll want to see in Lisbon. the rooms are lovely, modern and clean. staff are very friendly. would definitely stay again if we come back to Lisbon - you couldn’t get a better location, especially for the price.

the street the hotel is on is a little noisy in the evenings as people eat outside the restaurants outside, and there can be loud banging noises when the staff start putting tables and chairs away at the end of the night. this didn’t bother us as it’s what you’d expect from such a central location, but maybe not the best if you’re staying with young children.

Everything was great except for the fact that there are no elevators therefore the luggage had to manually be carried to our rooms, thankfully the gentleman at the desk brought them up for us, and the door to get into the hotel is quite narrow requiring a bit of maneuvering because you are on a slant when walking in. Wifi in our room on the 3rd floor was awful, could never connect. The place is centrally located, so you are within walking distance of the major tourist hot spots, the staff is very friendly, there is a big kitchen that all guests have access to, which is very convenient.

The fact that there are no elevators for a 4 Storey hotel, the entrance to the hotel and the Wi-Fi not so great from our room on the 3rd floor...we were travelling with another couple who also were staying on the 3rd floor, their Wi-Fi was great.

Lovely place!! rooms are beautiful and common areas are absolutely fantastic. The kitchen looks amazing and staff are super polite (everyone spoke Spanish/ English and made an effort to understand my poor Portuguese!) Accommodation is great - close to everything!!!

Our room was on the 3rd floor, so if you are not in a good shape… prob look for another property. We were 3 and were originally given a room for 2 people. They managed to fix it and change room but the process took a little while..

The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were on the smaller side but very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. No breakfast was included but there are very good cafes a few doors away.

The WiFi was a bit spotty at times and the shower was a bit small. There is not lift/elevator so beware if you have heavy luggage. The area itself is generally quiet but the rooms aren't soundproof; most of the noise came from inside the property. My room was close to the stairs and I could hear people passing through the passage as well as noise from the room next door.

Incredible location of the hotel, 2min walk for Praça do Comércio which was ideal. In the street you can find different type of restaurants (for breakfast / brunch, lunch and diner). The staff were very helpful. The room was very spacious with double bathroom.

Only one small window for the entire room and it looks onto the back street. It did feel it lacked some daylight but we were never there during the day anyway. The room did seem as if it could be a bit cleaner mostly due to the fact the building is made out of bricks. One of the brick arches seemed to disintegrate so it left some dust on the floor (probably after the cleaning had been done).

We loved the location, the place itself very nice, clean, comfortable, great kitchen and social area even though we only made tea and used the refrigerators to keep soda and water The girl and the guy at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful. Great pick. Great working WiFi. and Air Conditioning. We’ll be back when we go back to Lisbon.

It is a historic building so there’s no elevator. We knew this before getting there but if someone has mobility problems this is an issue as you have a lot of stairs to climb between floors.

Location is great. Very accessible on major sites within Lisbon that most tourist wants to visit. Walking distance to Train and Metro station. Accessible via Bus and Tram. There are amazing restaurants around the area as well. The room size/bed size is decent. Very good experience on check in since the staff who received us is very friendly. During our stay, the staff are very accommodating as well. Overall a good place to stay!

There are towels in the bathroom but not replaced every day. During checkout, the person who checked us out seemed upset or not in the mood to talking; Only Yes or No has been provided to questions which could be better answered through a conversation.

The location was perfect, great restaurants and bars nearby. The cleaning service was great, everything was constantly in order. There was also a shared kitchen which was clean and well equipped.

My room did not have a bathroom only for me, I understand that was reflected on the price, but I wish it was more explicitly informed when I booked. I never had to wait to use the bathroom so it didn't bother me but I can see how it could bother someone. Since it is a historic building, they do not have an elevator, so be ready to face A LOT of steps on your way to your room.
