Great location - well served by a few metro stations, few mins walk to Tram 28 terminal station and just a few steps away from some fantastic restaurants (we dined at Com Certeza and Maria Catita, and both were excellent!). It is also a great base for exploring Alfama and the Baixa-Chiado area. Room is very clean and of a decent size. Love the breakfast too! Wonderful spread of cheeses, eggs, ham, fruits and an assortment of bread and cakes. Thanks heaps to all the staff for their hospitality. We will definitely be back.

This is a very nice boutique hotel in an ideal location very close to the water, old city center and Alfama district. Its renovation was well done and smartly modern

Our only criticism would be that the hotel and room are small but this is due to its location in the old city center the room was adequate in size but tight. All the conveniences were there. It’s a great hotel and hugely convenient

Hotel was very central and clean. Breakfast was very good.

I had an issue with the room door that I pointed out to the manager. There was an isolating tape missing so the door wasn't closing all the way which made me feel uncomfortable. Manager reassured me that there were no functional issues and that due to the missing isolating tape it appeared that door wasn't closed when in fact it was. I have asked him if they were able to fix that and he said he wasn't sure. It was a work day (Thursday) and I am sure he was able to get some isolating tape tape and get someone easily to fix that, which disappointingly didn't happen during my stay. Due to this issue I also heard everything that was happening in the corridors so at times it was noisy.

The hotel was in a very good position for walking to see the sites. The room was a good temperature and the double glazing kept the noise out. The breakfast was good but the staff bustled around and chatted to each other a lot. So it didn’t feel relaxed for us. There was one great member of staff who was outstanding; so helpful, polite and focussed. Eg: He even noticed my breakfast cup was dirty as I filled it with coffee and swopped it for me. If all the staff were like him I would have given higher scores.

Good breakfast, I have been to other FLH Hotels and you get the same standard everywhere which is nice. I felt safe and it was quiet at night. I was als well treated by the staff. I love how they care for you individually. Everything was clean!

Room was very small, I didn’t minded because I travelled alone but for a couple this room (nr.17) can be quite small you open the door and you fall into the bed. It’s also a quite dark room with less natural light but I also didn’t think it was bad. The TV control didn’t work and I think they could improve the TV program in general.

The location was central to everything I needed to do and transport was easily accessible for my further afield trips. The staff were wonderful- friendly, helpful, generous and kind. The breakfast was sensational - delicious, wholesome, plenty of choice and the three time frames for sittings meant that I could plan my breakfast and mornings depending on how busy I knew I would be - just what a busy tourist needed to fuel the day. The ever available coffee and tea, with cake supplied, was a welcome addition when arriving back to the accommodation after a busy day. The room was clean and airy with a comfortable bed and a great shower.

Nothing- everything was fabulous.

The location was really central in Lisbon and the breakfast was really good as well, quite complete. The bed was super comfortable and the room size is also good.

The air conditioning was set to warm the room before I arrived. I did a late check in so there was only one receptionist at the hotel that didn't know how to operate the controls of the air condioning, which I could not change to cool down. On my first night I had to sleep with the windows open because of this situation. Only on the following day I could talk to the following receptionist that knew how to change to cooling. Maybe if the hotel wrote down the controls by the side of the air conditioning screen would be of help.

We were originally booked in at the American Dream Hotel but decided it was perhaps a little out of the way and so changed our booking to the Urbano. I am so glad we did. From the moment we arrived in the evening, we were delighted with the reception, the service, the room and the breakfasts. Every member of the staff was so kind and friendly and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. We booked a deluxe room which looked out onto the street below. There was a little traffic noise at times but it certainly was not intrusive or disturbing. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for every one of our three nights. The bathroom was fine and there was plenty of soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. If I had to find one fault, it would be that there were no coffee-making facilities in the room but there was a plentiful supply in reception. The breakfasts are served in sittings as the area is quite small. There is, however, a good choice of fruit, cereals, cold meats and eggs. If you have a sweet tooth, you are well-catered for, too. All in all, we were highly delighted with our stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous little hotel and we will definitely return. The staff here do the company much credit!

Perhaps tea or coffee-making faciltiies in the room

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to central tourist attractions. The breakfast was lovely, with staff replenishing food throughout the breakfast service.. The staff were super helpful and lovely, and helped to try and solve the issue we had with air conditioning. A really lovely hotel that I would recommend and would stay again.

Air con in the room didn’t work properly, but staff were really helpful in trying to solve the problem, and managed to get it working both nights.

The location is great. The staff is polite and helpful. The room was cleaned properly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying. Coffee, tea and cookies were always available in the lobby.

The room could be a little bit larger. I would prefer coffee machine in the room instead of the lobby, but the rooms have no enough space for these kind of equipment obviously.
