Great location - well served by a few metro stations, few mins walk to Tram 28 terminal station and just a few steps away from some fantastic restaurants (we dined at Com Certeza and Maria Catita, and both were excellent!). It is also a great base for exploring Alfama and the Baixa-Chiado area. Room is very clean and of a decent size. Love the breakfast too! Wonderful spread of cheeses, eggs, ham, fruits and an assortment of bread and cakes. Thanks heaps to all the staff for their hospitality. We will definitely be back.

This is a very nice boutique hotel in an ideal location very close to the water, old city center and Alfama district. Its renovation was well done and smartly modern

Our only criticism would be that the hotel and room are small but this is due to its location in the old city center the room was adequate in size but tight. All the conveniences were there. It’s a great hotel and hugely convenient

The rooms are small but nice and clean. The breakfast was great, not too many options, but they were all good. They even had coffee capsules. The staff was great, very polite and helpful. The location is perfect!

The uncomfortable thing is the bathroom. The door and wall are glass, which is not a problem, but there were around 2-3 cm space between the door and the wall. Therefore, you could see and hear when someone was using the toilet. It was right next to the bed. Another disadvantage is that you could hear everything from the other rooms and the hall. We couldn't sleep very well.

Everything. The staff was really nice and helpful and easy to talk to. They are always smiling and trying to help you as much as they can. They are doing an incredibile job. Needless to say that the hotel is really beautiful and comfortable, with coffee and cake in the afternoon available for the guests. The breakfast was delicious, probably one of the best I have ever had. My single room was small but super comfortable, especially the bed. But when the reception is so comfortable with all the sofas and the tables you don’t need and want to stay in your room for too long. All the soaps and shampoo available have a great scent! You feel like home here. I never wanted to leave. Thank you!!

Easy walking to a number of key sites & tram stops Breakfast was simple, great choices Free cake & coffee in the reception lounge a very nice touch. We forgot to tell staff on checkout the bedroom shower leaked under the gap into the bedroom. Did not distract from our stay View from the room window was directly onto another building and rubble but was no worry to us. We didn't book for the view & not there in daytime Benefits far outweighed minor points

Hotel was very central and clean. Breakfast was very good.

I had an issue with the room door that I pointed out to the manager. There was an isolating tape missing so the door wasn't closing all the way which made me feel uncomfortable. Manager reassured me that there were no functional issues and that due to the missing isolating tape it appeared that door wasn't closed when in fact it was. I have asked him if they were able to fix that and he said he wasn't sure. It was a work day (Thursday) and I am sure he was able to get some isolating tape tape and get someone easily to fix that, which disappointingly didn't happen during my stay. Due to this issue I also heard everything that was happening in the corridors so at times it was noisy.

The hotel was in a very good position for walking to see the sites. The room was a good temperature and the double glazing kept the noise out. The breakfast was good but the staff bustled around and chatted to each other a lot. So it didn’t feel relaxed for us. There was one great member of staff who was outstanding; so helpful, polite and focussed. Eg: He even noticed my breakfast cup was dirty as I filled it with coffee and swopped it for me. If all the staff were like him I would have given higher scores.

Good breakfast, I have been to other FLH Hotels and you get the same standard everywhere which is nice. I felt safe and it was quiet at night. I was als well treated by the staff. I love how they care for you individually. Everything was clean!

Room was very small, I didn’t minded because I travelled alone but for a couple this room (nr.17) can be quite small you open the door and you fall into the bed. It’s also a quite dark room with less natural light but I also didn’t think it was bad. The TV control didn’t work and I think they could improve the TV program in general.

The location was central to everything I needed to do and transport was easily accessible for my further afield trips. The staff were wonderful- friendly, helpful, generous and kind. The breakfast was sensational - delicious, wholesome, plenty of choice and the three time frames for sittings meant that I could plan my breakfast and mornings depending on how busy I knew I would be - just what a busy tourist needed to fuel the day. The ever available coffee and tea, with cake supplied, was a welcome addition when arriving back to the accommodation after a busy day. The room was clean and airy with a comfortable bed and a great shower.

The location was really central in Lisbon and the breakfast was really good as well, quite complete. The bed was super comfortable and the room size is also good.

The air conditioning was set to warm the room before I arrived. I did a late check in so there was only one receptionist at the hotel that didn't know how to operate the controls of the air condioning, which I could not change to cool down. On my first night I had to sleep with the windows open because of this situation. Only on the following day I could talk to the following receptionist that knew how to change to cooling. Maybe if the hotel wrote down the controls by the side of the air conditioning screen would be of help.
