Amazing location, close to the main Square and the River. Clean, cute, stylish, modern apartment, kitchen well-equiped, nice shower. Elevator, 2 balconies. Really good value for this price. There are good restaurants nearby, small grocery shops also available. Recommended!

The breakfast is served in the nearby cafe. For 7 days every day it was the same set of breakfast elements: a bit of scrambled eggs, coffee/tea, orange juice, 1 piece of mediocre ham, 1 piece of cheese, 1 White bread roll, 1 croissant, a bit of butter and jam. The food was tasty and fresh, but some options to choose from would be appreciated - e.g. rye or multigrain bread at least. The apartment could be wet sometimes, but the heating from the Air conditioning can fix it.

We loved our stay at Casas da Baixa. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city. The apartment was easy to access, with an elevator that made things much easier given our luggage and stroller. It was clean, bright, and in excellent condition, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The host was also very responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

A couple of things to note: the road in front of the building is narrow and busy, so stopping to unload luggage can be a challenge if you arrive by car, and parking is a bit further away. Also, while the included breakfast is very good, it’s a fixed menu served daily, which can feel repetitive on a longer stay or tricky if you have dietary restrictions. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it.

The location was excellent, very central to the harbour, shops and sights. Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The tramlines were going just a block from the apartment. We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment, which was clean and nice. The noice from the streets weren't bothering us, you could close the window shutters for the night. Air conditioning was a great thing to have!

The downstairs lobby looked and smelled horrible, so the first impression could have been better, not gonna lie.. 😄 Just ignore it, the apartments are way better!

We liked the space in the apartment as we travelled with 3 children.

The lock on the front door to the building is broken and it seems from other reviews that it has been like this for a long time. It just basically means anyone can gain access to the building from the street simply by pushing the main door. Its a small issue so I’m not sure why it can’t be addressed as it would make the building more secure. Also not having a place to store your luggage is a little inconvenient as we arrived at 7am but check in wasn’t available until 4pm. However, the cleaning staff in the building were amazing and very helpful as they allowed us to store our luggage in the cleaning room.

Property if very well located; well equipped and modern in a historical neighborhood; check in instructions were clear and staff responsive.

There is a real need to improve the sound proofing and/or to enforce a silent policy for all guests after a certain hour in the evening. We travelled with a baby, that was waken up several times during the night be other guests heading back to their apartment. This make our stay complicated, and, even if we love the place, we’d probably won’t be back unless improvements are made.

Perfect location. 5-ish minutes walk to Baixa-Chiado and Terreiro do Paco metro stations for links to everywhere easily. Also 5 minutes walk to tram and bus stops for Belem, Alfama (including the famous 28 Tram) and all the major museums and sights. Brilliantly located exactly between the 'new' town and the old town of Alfama.

Portuguese drivers use their car horns ..... a lot! So if you want peace and quiet during the day to lie in or you have a hangover, maybe not ideal! But I was only interested in sightseeing and up early and out all day so no problem, as the traffic is very quiet on that street at night time. I had no trouble at all sleeping :)

A perfect place to stay when in Lisbon, very nicely renovated and decorated. The apartment is very comfortable and located in walking distance to all the beautiful Lisbon sites. A lot of cafes and restaurants are on the doorstep.

It will be great if there will be more coffee pods left for the guests. In the the apartment where we stayed there was no shower holder bracket and very late in the night we could hear lots of noises to coming from the apartment above.

The location in the centre of Baixa made this a great place to stay as we could walk everywhere and get back to the apartment easily. The rooms were comfortable and the sofa bed was made up on our arrival as there were five of us and two bedrooms. The air conditioning was appreciated in the heatwave temps and the view from the 4th floor was impressive.

There wasn't enough storage space for our things so I was unable to put my clothes anywhere except my suitcase. The larger bedroom had drawers but they were difficult to open and full of sheets.

The location of the property was close to the city center and to the public transport near the Praça do Comércio.The room was very clean, light full in a quiet neighborhood overall, it was a great experience. A perfect room place to stay with all the needed amenities and with A/C for the heating during cold nights.

I didn't like the fact that during the 10 days of stay only one time the room was cleaned, and the towels were changed.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable for our 4 person family. we also loved the location !

1) Bidet was broken upon arrival. 2) Booking.com said that toiletries would be provided but we didn’t get any shampoo so had to purchase at the mercado. 3) info about the apartment being serviced was not consistent with booking.com. we thought someone would come in at least once during our 6 night stay All of the above are little things and we would absolutely rent at this property again and recommend it to friends travelling to Lisboa!
