Stayed at the Memmo Alfama for five nights. From arriving at reception to saying farewell 5 days later we enjoyed every minute. The hotel is modern, well designed and in the old part of the city, located quite near to the cathedral. We opted for a room with access to the terrace and were pleased we had paid the little extra. All rooms have access to the terraces which overlook the estuary. The breakfast is exceptional with a large range of hot and cold food available. Eat in your room, in the breakfast room or on the terrace, your choice. So relaxing. The Fado night in the Living Room on the Tuesday was very pleasant. Like everywhere else in Lisbon you need to walk up and down hills to get anywhere. The staff at the hotel (thanks Anea, Monica and Ingrid in particular) are all so helpful and caring. Incredible experience at Memmo! We were charmed and fell in love with it. Little details were in every corner, and even the smell of the hotel is exquisite. The level of customer service is unparalleled. We felt welcomed and treated extremely well from the very first moment we arrived, until the last one when they were calling a taxi to take us to the hotel. The breakfast experience was wonderful, with all the staff bending over backwards so we could enjoy ourselves. The room was clean, comfortable, cute, romantic, bright, airy… we loved it! The lotion, body wash, shampoo, everything was top notch. The location was PERFECT, right in the heart of Alfama, which is one of the most romantic, historic, charming and intriguing neighborhoods we’ve ever visited. All in all, this trip to Lisbon was magical, and our stay at Memmo was a big part of it. Obrigado to all the beautiful staff at Memmo, we can’t wait to visit again. I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience! The staff were absolutely amazing—always helpful, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the events organized by the hotel. I especially loved the bossa nova evenings—it was such a relaxing and unique touch that added a vibrant and soothing atmosphere. The music created a perfect ambiance, making my evenings truly memorable. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would definitely go back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay!

Beyond the gorgeous property and stunning views, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to me during my entire stay. From start, when I arrived early, to finish, when they helped me book a car to the airport and everything in between, I am forever grateful to the people who made my stay in Lisbon SO extra special. I didn't have air conditioning and they were quick to resolve my warm room. I was greeted with sweet little candies as a welcome when I arrived and the staff was always available for a recommendation and a hello every morning. I appreciated how clean and sunny my room was and it was perfect spot for my holiday.

Honestly, this is my new favourite hotel and have already recommended it to a visiting friend who has booked herself in! It's so charming, totally modern but with incredible views over the totally enchanting Alfama. I'm pretty sure I was given an upgrade with my own private terrace and that was truly really lovely. But even if you don't have that, to sit round the pool - anytime of the day to have a coffee, cocktail or glass of wine is probably going to be one of your highlights in Lisbon. Breakfast and staff were excellent. They were both relaxed and efficient, everything was easy but everything was totally taken care of.

The property's location, amenities, customer service, and breakfast were exceptional. The room was clean, the staff provided helpful service, and the hotel's proximity to numerous attractions was ideal. Bianca delivered outstanding service, contributing significantly to a flawless stay through her helpfulness and respectful demeanor. All staff members provided exemplary service. I plan to return next summer and will specifically request Bianca's assistance; her continued employment is highly recommended as she is a valuable asset to your team.

Breakfast was brilliant & Monica overseeing proceedings was exceptional. We loved the view from our room. Amazing! Roof top bar staff brilliant! Compliments to housekeeping who had very high standards. And then on to reception - the jewel in the crown. Again exceptional! Leonardo showed us around & explained all areas of the hotel. Cannot remember all names of those on reception (so sorry) but you were all wonderful! Today my husband phoned the hotel to make some enquiries about making a booking for next year. He spoke to Arielle (we had met before). What an outstanding young woman - so so informative, beautiful command of the English language & above all a genuinely lovely person. Last but not least, the brilliant young man who was responsible for the cleaning of the communal floor areas. He would always stop work to allow guests to continue their travels. Feel guilty finding any fault - bathroom was a little compromised (cleanliness excellent) & a little surprised by how small the pool was (now I’m sounding like a complete diva!). Totally understand that land is at a premium in cities such as the gorgeous Lisbon.

Everything about our stay at Memmo Alfama was exceptional, from the greeting at check in to the views from the roof top bar. We booked a terrace room which was lovely with doors opening onto our own little private seating area - and the view was breathtaking! We ate at the hotel on our first evening and the food was excellent - as were the breakfasts each morning of our stay. The staff team were, without exception, friendly, welcoming and really efficient and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect - we walked everywhere and found excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay at Memmo Alfama again and have already recommended it to friends.

This was a great boutique hotel with extremely friendly, interested staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were helped with our bags before we even got to the hotel. It is located right in the heart of Alfama, minutes from the Se (Cathedral) and on the #28 tram route (the classic Lisbon tram route). The bed was comfortable and the room pleasant. Facilities were very good: small pool, gym, various terraces. Breakfast was very nice indeed with a range of options including items to order outside of the buffet. There was coffee and tea available in their lounge for most of the day. There was entertainment on one evening too. Staff went out of their way to help.

Not much. The view from the room (third floor) was obscured by a wall just outside the window! Perhaps a bigger choice of things to eat on their evening menu. And something to sit on in the bedroom!

We stayed in three different great hotels in different areas in Lisbon. The hotel is beautiful from check-in to the rooms and being in the heart of Alfama is great. You can jump off Tram 28 to this hotel just as it starts to get super crowded. The selling point of this place is the view and sitting on the patio having dinner and drinks at the property. We always ended our evenings here as it was romantic enjoying cocktails and dinner with provided blankets. the Amenities of the room are good, but was one of the few places that charged for provided drinks/snacks in room. The Price for breakfast is too pricey for what is offered, but enjoyed a short walk to Antu Alfama. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend staying!
