We booked the hotels especially because of its great location! It is very close to the main attractions of the city center and very close to the tram/bus/metro station so all the other attractions are in a fair reach. It was clean, staff was lovely, really enjoyed it!

The only minus is given especially because of its location - since it’s close to the city center, it does become noisy. As part of the Christmas decorations they have some singing streets and also the restaurants close-by have ongoing music. Also, we stayed exactly during the weekend so the streets were busy than normal (i suppose). However, the window does block most of the noise, but if you are sensitive, you can clearly hear it. And then, there was some noise coming from the draining or heating system (could not figure it out) when the others from the hotel were using it. So, some earplugs would be definitely needed.

Lovely hotel, great location, lovely big corner room no. 103), quick checkin.

Room above restaurant was very noisy with music from restaurant late into the early morning. Ordered a take out breakfast as we were leaving at 7am before breakfast started. Paid £15 for a bottle of water, carton of juice, an apple, a tiny cheese croissant and a tiny roll! Receptionist (male, bald, glasses, sorry didn’t get name) very dismissive, unfriendly, disinterested. He didn’t ask how our stay was on checkout, just asked what room, handed us our breakfast and that was the total of his interaction, let down for this hotel. Female receptionist on the previous evening was very friendly, chatty and helped us with Fado recommendations.

The hotel smells amazing! It felt very safe and was in a really central location. We were on the first floor overlooking the outdoor seating for the restaurant but the sound-proofing is very good and we didn't hear any noise. The room was big and light. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The Rituals toiletries were nice. We were able to use the coffee machine to make tea and coffee. There was coffee and tea in the room. There was also a safe. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We were given vouchers for a free drink and 20% off in the restaurant. We were also given free breakfast. I really liked the orange juice. They looked after our bags for us after we checked out. We were only there for 1 night. I would definitely stay in this hotel again at the price we paid and will look out for this group in the future.

There were some very minor things that come to mind. The space between the end of the bed and the desk is small and made it a little difficult to walk around the bed. The bathroom had everything you need but was quite small, not a lot of space to move around. It would be nice to have more hangers in the wardrobe. Three per person is not enough. There was a lot of wall space next to the door and it might be a nice idea to have some hooks there to hang jackets, hats etc.

The hotel’s location is excellent—ideally situated in the city center and within walking distance of key shopping areas and popular tourist attractions. The breakfast offered a generous and well-curated selection. The room was clean, well-appointed with all necessary amenities, and serviced daily. The staff was exceptionally courteous and professional throughout the stay. The front desk also kindly offered to extend the check-out time if needed, which was much appreciated. I would gladly choose this hotel again on my next visit to Lisbon.

I did not encounter anything I was dissatisfied with.

We stayed two different times. Our first room was great after we figured out the air conditioning. the second room was not as nice. There wasn't a towel rack, the bathroom had a weird smell, and the floors were creaky.

the complimentary drink and 10% off at the restaurant weren't valid on all of the drinks. Our waiter was awesome, but the managers were very rude to him and kept yelling at him. It was very uncomfortable.

10/10 ... i could not fault anything about my stay here. Lovely hotel, amazing location, staff were briiant,, we got 2 interconnecting rooms as we are a family of 4. Kids loved it. I thought it would be noisy but the windows cut out so of the outside noise. Breakfast was also really, really nice. Kids loved the pancakes. Lovely touches loke Complimentary drinks voucher for each of us and discount of 20% voucher of first food bill which is already priced well. I can't blame them for the heavy rain on one of the days !! Thank you and hope to be back soon.

Nothing ..

I loved everything about this hotel and would come back here time and time again: 1) The location was incredible, so central to everything and close to so many beautiful areas to walk around at night time to enjoy great restaurants, live music from buskers, and the overall vibe of this beautiful city; a complete sense of safety the whole time. 2) The rooms are beautiful. 3) The STAFF was incredible ... I was a solo female traveler and felt so taken care of by everyone I met. All the boys at reception were incredible! 4) If you plan to get around by subway there is a subway stop very, very close by. The cable car stops near the Arco are also very close. Can't wait to go back again and when I do I will 100% return here!

Great location, easy to get to by metro from airport and close to main areas of Lisbon. Room was compact but had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. Very happy with the free welcome drink and pastel del nata. Staff were helpful

If you are staying longer then you may struggle with space for your bigger cases (fine for us with Ryanair hand luggage!) Would be great if the hairdryers weren’t in the bathroom so someone could shower while the other was getting ready (v minor issue of course and wouldn’t stop us staying!)

It’s in a great location and it’s easy to get anywhere. The staff were so friendly and really welcoming. The treats in the room when we arrived were a great touch!

The room was quite small meaning there was no where to store our case as it didn’t fit under the bed. Saying that, the size didn’t bother us too much as we were out all day and only used it to sleep and get ready. Only other thing I would say is the shower points outward so you have to hold it when washing hair.

This was my second stay with My Story Hotel Ouro in Lisbon, and for the second time, they exceeded all of my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotless, and the location is unbeatable. The restaurant/bar also makes wonderful drinks and has great open hours. The room was perfectly sized for my partner and I, and the hotel even impressed our parents, who traveled with us (and are not so easily pleased)!
