I really enjoyed my stay at SANA Rex hotel. The staff spoke English very well and they were very friendly and helpful. Even when I was not sure how to get to another city they came to my rescue. The bedrooms were very clean and it had all the amenities that you could ask for inside them. They were fairly large and they were quiet where I did not hear neighbors next to me. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had staying at a hotel and it's included in the price. It's fairly easy to get to downtown because it's mainly all downhill but it is a good hike. On the way home at least if you go down the main Street there are park benches that you can take us rest in between your trudging back up the hill towards King Edward II's Park. There isn't a lot of restaurants close by but if you're going downtown there's so many along the way that you can get whatever type of food you want. There is a McDonald's as well as a Burger King fairly close by. All in all I give this hotel a 10 out of 10 and they did a fantastic job in taking care of me and I will stay there again next time I come too Lisbon.

I really can't complain about anything because everything was very good. You're not that far away from the airport and it only cost me 12 euros to get there not including a tip. So overall you're fairly close to the airport but you're not that far away from the train station Orient. So I would have to say I have nothing to complain about it's a perfect place to stay for you and your family.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are a little small but the view from the balconies are spectacular. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel common areas are very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is very good with lots of hot or continental choices.

If you were looking to spend the majority of your time in the Barrio Alto or Alfama districts you would be required to take a short cab ride or use public transit. The Hop On/ Hop Off bus is conveniently located at the foot of the hill from the hotel.

Really enjoyed my experience in Sana Rex hotel, the location was perfect, the view from the room with a balcony was stunning (you could see the park and even the ocean), the staff was very friendly and attentive.

The was no kettle for a tea in the room, only the coffee machine. And the temperature in the refrigerator was not low enough. The pillows were too big for me. But other than that - everything was really great.

The bed was very comfortable, the WiFi was strong, the light-blocking curtains worked amazingly well. The shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioning cooled the room perfectly throughout the night. I slept well. Breakfast was fine and with long hours. This is not a fancy hotel, but it was solid and had everything I need. Good location by the park (perfect for the Lisbon Eco Marathon), and easy to reach with public transport.

Breakfast was fine but not great -- more variety and higher quality food would be nice. Note that it is a long walk to the harbor/city center area. There is an elevator, but it is small.

I loved the breakfast, there were plenty of options. I especially liked the cut fruit selection. The room was OK, it was good to have a hair dryer in the bathroom. Wifi was fast and reliable. The location was nice, the park is well worth the visit!

The whole hotel is a little dated, it looks somewhat worse than in the pictures. We paid more for the balcony room, and the view was nice, but the air-conditioner above us was constantly dripping water down on the railings of our balcony, so you couldn't lean onto the railings to enjoy the view, because you would be wet. The toilet seat was cracked and in my opinion should have been changed a long time ago. On the whole, for the price paid, I expected a little more bang for my buck :-)

The room overlooked the front entry and the park! Bed was wonderful and very nice bedding! The breakfast was wonderful! Very cute hotel! Wonderful area, I walked everywhere from here! I met my tour on foot by the landmarks down the hill by the water where all the tourist area is. I would stay here again!!

The only thing off, was they were out of a lot of the food they offered at the little bar/restaurant in the lobby. I Just went left out the front door and around the block up the hill to this great little pizza place!

The staff were really friendly and so helpful! The breakfast in the morning was lovely, lots of options, there was something for everyone!

It wasn’t a problem for me at all, but if you are going back and forward from the city centre, it is a walk up quite a steep hill to get to, so it is just worth considering if you have a mobility issues, you might need to grab a taxi!

The hotel location is near the plane traffic route, so there is some noise from the landing planes and you can hear it every few minutes if you open the window. Also, loud door slapping of rooms, which causes noise, if your neighbors walk a lot.

Quiet hotel. Great views from the balcony. Polite, professional staff. Very comfy pillows 😊 excellent balcony. Close to airport and walking distance to main areas. Advice: book airport taxi through booking.com as it's far cheaper with nicer drivers/cars

Bath was very small and getting into shower was a bit of a squeeze. Room was small ISH but adequate.
