Breakfast was really good. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the water park area and was nice to relax but watch the kids at the same time. They loved the activities as well especially laser tag.

I didn't like that we had to ask for towels a couple of times due to only receiving 4 when there was 7 all up in the family. I think that needed to be dealt with better and the TV in the kids room was broken as well. The door to the balcony as well was very hard to lock to and down in the kids area where arcade games were and laser tag smelt really bad!

FANTASTIC hotel for kids. We stayed with my family + my brothers family (kids ages 3, 10, 11 + 12) for a week. The rooms are simple and a little dated but they are large and spacious and offer plenty of storage which is ideal with kids. We stayed in the cheapest room type in Cleos wing. Room 1220 was great as it had a larger balcony and was close to the pool/restaurant. The activities for the kids were always good fun - a lot of included for free, but there are some you need to pay extra for. For example, the train ride is $5, pizza making is $10 etc. We also had 1 kids club session which was $40 for 3 hours. Food at the restaurants was surprisingly really good too. 3 pools, 2 playgrounds (indoor + outdoor) and the arcade were always fun. The pools are a little cold imo.

Cocktails about $20-$22 each, food averages $20-$35 pre meal. Kids meals $12. The breakfast in the restuarant was not great value ($54 for 2 adults and 3yr child) for a very simple continental breakfast. Would recommend either leaving the resort for a hot breakfast at a cafe nearby, or just pay for a hot breakfast on the sun deck which was a la carte. Note: The weekends are a lot busier with lots of parties happening so it can be a little crowded. Weekdays were much more enjoyable. If you go into your stay knowing the rooms are a little dated, and food + drinks are a little expensive, you will have a great trip. Already planning our next visit :)

Good service by the staff and the facilities were excellent for kids and families in general.

The breakfast was buffet, but it did not include any eggs or meat on it. If you wanted them, you had to pay extra and it was not cheap. Food in general was very good, but expensive. Also, rooms are a bit outdated.

Water slides, helpful friendly staff, location (close to the beach and Cavill Ave), ordering takeaway via QR code, being flexible with allowing guests to use facilities and storing luggage before check-in and after check-out (to accommodate early arrival and late departure), a nice shop with essentials, a fairy floss machine, shows, kids activities (with little prizes - kids loved them), dinner at penguins restaurant, quick food service It's a great choice if your priority no.1 is kids having fun without leaving the resort.

Having coffee in takeaway cups - no matter where you ordered it - dine in or takeaway A bit dated rooms, leaking shower, very noisy little fridge (sometimes I had to switch it off during night), quite disappointing buffet in terms of variety and what's included - would not recommend Guests holding sunbeds around the pool (by putting their towels on) but not actually using them

I was a bit nervous about staying here after reading some reviews, but our stay was fantastic. We booked the deluxe room which had plenty of space, the beds were super comfy, room was serviced daily and pool towels available at reception. Fantastic facilities for kids - you could spend your whole time in the resort and still have different activities to do each day. Great food options and the store had those extra things you need. Was an easy walk to cavill ave, can also catch the tram (super cheap at 50c pp and can take you all the way to Pacific Fair) For a fun, family friendly stay, I highly recommend Paradise Resort - we were there for the peak Xmas/New Year period- it was busy but if you plan your day we still had easy access to the pool/water park and chairs. Book the Captains Quarters for the best location.. our kids loved it, weather was perfect and staff were helpful. Great holiday!

Amazing hotel, great facilities for the whole family. Clean, comfortable room with room cleaning every day. Great kids club and outdoor facilities! Second time here and would definitely go back.

Price of alcohol/cocktails pretty expensive. Had to pay an additional $120 car parking for 6 nights. Thought this was included in the hotel package price we paid.

Great kids facilities, pool. Daily room tidying definitely was amazing so we didn't have to constantly tidy up after kids like at home was nice. Enough pool guards to keep it safe, but also not too many overburdening ones like in the water parks to ruin their fun. Pools stayed open past their announced closing hours if there were enough kids still playing in them.

Pricy, especially the restaurant. Charging $15 for a 3y old for breakfast buffet that doesn't even include eggs or bacon (each like $6-7 on top) while his plate would fit in the palm of your hand is crazy. You basically must eat at their fast food restaurants as nothing nearby in walking distance and no food facilities in room, so you're guaranteed to gain weight and face whiny kids at every meal. Water was also cold for April. I get 24C is refreshing mid summer, but in fall it could be heated a bit more to be comfortable.

Great hotel for a family to visit. Fantastic facilities and onsite meal options making it easy to feed and get tired little ones to bed. Great communication and nice staff. Nice food onsite. Pool was great, even in the rain. Kids loved the arcade and teddy bear making workshop.

In comparison to other hotels in the area you could get a nicer room for better value. However, decided to pay the extra due to the number of facilities located onsite. We were told ahead of time the spa was under maintenance, which was fine, but the carousel and ferris wheel were also under maintenance. Staying only 2 nights, the train was also booked out by the time we arrived. Having 2 kids under 3, this didn't leave us a lot of other options and unfortunately was raining during our stay. Definitely make sure activities are booked ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Bit of construction going on as well.

We loved our accessibility especially where our room was from our car. We were able to park downstairs and get a lift straight to our room. Our room was just opened and was new. Our view on the balcony was in construction as it’s still being built so no view but construction. As we entered our room a lovely welcomed basket welcoming us as new guests. Also a lovely touch was a complimentary drinks for our anniversary. Very clean and any issues was prompt and fixed straight away especially when new rooms are installed and built. This resort accommodates for all budgets by allowing you to use the facilities not only in the allocated cooking areas but also in your room. We have very fussy eaters and also tight budget and able to bring along our own food and, snacks and beverages. The spa was very busy with guests with not much room to dip in, but apart from that it was very pleasant and entertaining.

The only thing I found was the pool area was way too busy especially the small spa only being one spa in the pool area that was always over crowded with guests not too inviting. Would be lovely to have some covered areas near the pool area especially when it rains .

The kids and I had an amazing time at paradise resort. My 6 year old loved all the activities and competitions, spa and the pool. He especially liked dunking his brothers in the dunk tank. My older 2 boys (13 and 16) loved the basketball court. The staff were amazing and helpful to the kids needs and overall it was a really child and parent focused resort.

That the restaurant closed at 9. The kids and I were often out at night and it would have been good to come back put them to bed and had a cheeky Pina colada or a late night snack. My older boys were a bit disappointed there wasn't too much for them to do other than swim and the basketball court and the teens club didn't have time slots available when we were staying. We were disappointed in the cookie making as our host did all the work such as adding our ingredients and my son wanted to keep staring and told her multiple times he wanted to do it and she took it off him and she stirred it for him. We didn't really get to make our own cookies.
