The hotel itself feels quite luxurious. The breakfast is not to be missed. Lots of choices and high-quality food. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The room was beautiful with a great view. The gym is well equipped.

The only letdown was that we tried to call guest services to get extra towels, and no one was answering. It might’ve been some thing going wrong with the phone system because the staff seemed really eager to please. It was ringing busy, no matter how many times we tried. In the end we had to go down to the lobby to request the towels. Not a huge deal, but inconsistent with the rest of the experience.

Welcoming, kind, professional and extremely caring staff (I wish we could find them in Europe!), large room with a view, silent A/C, very comfortable mattress and pillows, perfect wifi and very appealing rooftop indoor pool. Located in a safe area surrounded by several embassies, where nice cafes and restaurants are located.

The property should have equipped the entire building with double windows. Having said that, this is not a major issue.

It clearly is a Hilton with high standards that La Sabana definitely lives up to. A big plus is the skyscraper-like architecture with an amazing view on the sports stadium in front of the hotel and on the surrounding mountains. Further, the well-equipped hotel gym and the pool are on the top floor of the hotel, making both spectacular.

Location could be better. The hotel is a little bit outside the city center. While this is ok at night - San Jose does not have the safest city center -, the distance requires a taxi ride to visit nearly everything that is worth being seen.

Poor service: Shortly after we arrived at the room, 2 people knocked on the door to remove the content of the minibar because we had not opened a credit with the credit card. I had never seen this in my life. Also, you have to pay 28 USD for the parking and wait every time for someone to open the gate.

The room was amazing, specious, comfortable and modern will all you need. The floor to creaking window offered an incredible view. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable. The rest of the hotel was equally high standard with great facilities including the great pool area and gym with amazing city and Mountain views. The restaurant and terrace over looking the stadium were also outstanding.

The comfort offered with a stylish and modern style. Great location near the airport.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel. The room and its view was beautiful, the staff were all very friendly and professional. Looking forward to going back.

The odor in the hallway in front of my room smell like sewer. Other than that I loved everything else.

Great location next to stadium. Could literally watch games and concerts free from 18th floor bar and restaurant balconies. Best views, and even better food! We ate lunch, dinner, and breakfast there it was so delicious.

The restaurant servers are not attentive like American restaurants but may be the culture and not a lack of training.

Honestly the online photos all looked the same. You really have to see it in person. I was amazed by the beauty of our suite. We were on the 30th floor with the extra long balcony. We were able to pull the sliding glass doors all the way back. Also, the hotel has this private all you can drink cocktail and buffet for guests that’s staying in suites. It was awesome.

I had paid for my whole trip using Affirm, only to have to pay again at the counter.

The hotel staff was highly competent, the rooms were exceptional, the views of the city and the stadium were stunning, and the breakfast staff provided a knowledgeable introduction to Costa Rican cuisine.

The indoor pool is a lap pool with nice views. However, the atmosphere at the pool feels cold and uninviting. The light switches in the room were hard to comprehend.

Breakfast and location was excellent. Definitely liked the pool area and the fact that the hotel had several elevators so wait times were minimal.

No balcony was a big let down as I was expecting to see the view from outside. Parking I was not a fan but definitely doable.
