Good stay. The location is perfect when traveling to or from Gatwick airport. A simple, short walk into the terminal from the train. The check in staff was friendly and helpful. There is access to several stores and resturants in the airport before the security check. You can also easily take a train or bus into London. The room was clean and although small it was comfortable. Free hot drinks and coffee were available on the floor. We'd recommend staying here if you have an early or late Gatwick flight.

The hotel is IN south terminal at Gatwick which is super convenient if you have an overnight layover (or a day layover but need some sleep!). Unlike other airport hotels there is no need to faff about with a transit to/from - you just check in and get in the lift. The rooms have all the expected essentials - bed, shower room, climate control etc. All well presented clean and new looking. They offer discounts on the restaurants in the terminal building so make sure you check in BEFORE you eat.

the rooms are really tiny- They are designed for you to shower and sleep and very little more. But then they don't pretend a function beyond that so I wasn't overly bothered about it.

The hotel is conveniently located in South Terminal of the airport. A compact "pod" type room, but slightly more spacious than some I've had elsewhere. Online check-in and app-based room key means you can go directly to your room without passing through reception. The room as compact but comfortable and was surprisingly quiet. We got a good night's sleep after the arrival of our late night flight.

The compact shower room is a wet room with no division between shower and the rest of the shower room. Everything gets wet when you use the shower, so be careful with our personal belongings!

This is a very very convenient hotel for those early morning flights from Gatwick. It's in the terminal so you wake up, shower and straight through priority security. It made a huge difference not having to wake up at 3 to travel to the airport on the morning of an early flight.

The rooms are very small for a family. Our flight was in the morning and we stayed the night before, I would suggest that you make use of the twilight bag drop the night before your flight so that you don't have luggage in the room making the space a little smaller.

We had an early morning flight so decided to get to Gatwick the previous day and stop at the Bloc hotel to get some decent sleep - it was a good decision! The room was not big (but then we did not need a big room for one night), it's quite sound proof (I was worried airport can be noisy). There is a shared room with a hot drinks machine, hot chocolate is actually nice! There are a few cafes and restaurants in the terminal that offer discounts if yo stay at Bloc. And it's perfect for morning flights, the hotel is in the terminal building so it's very close to the check-in area.

The communications are a bit intense, before arrival I think I got messages via SMS, whatsapp, booking and email (or at least 3 of those) trying to tell me the same thing, I could do with just one means of communicating.

Very convenient easy to check in to hotel and find at airport terminal as inside. Had a very early flight so was perfect. Good shower with toiletries and comfortable bed with access to hot drinks.

This is a super basic room but this hotel is great value for money and gets all the important things right. The important thinks are: proximity to airport (it is right in the terminal). It is modern, clean with a super comfy large bed (including duvet, not sheets) and there are some nice additional touches (free tea, coffee, hot chocolate via a machine on 7th floor, 20% discounts on a few places in terminal to get evening meal ). Great for early morning wake up prior to flight. Things to know: the room is ‘compact’ and the ‘wet room’ bathroom means the loo and shower are next to each other), but these are minor things to be aware of given the excellent price which was £50 cheaper than other options. I would stay here again. If all you need to do is lay your head prior to an early flight it’s ideal.

The location is unbeatable. I stayed there the night before a very early flight and made my whole journey a lot less stressful. The room is small, but very clean and has everything you need. There are also a couple of public rooms with complimentary hot drinks, and an ironing room if you need it. All in all, good value and very convenient.

Access to the lifts and room are operated via web access. It's very convenient because you don't have to queue to check in, but the lifts access was a bit fiddly.

Loved the place, right outside departures in Gatwick Airport, close to all shops before security. It's perfect for what you need, a night to sleep before your flight, and that's what it did, TV , really comfy bed which is a good size! The wet room was a bit slippy but otherwise very modern and we really liked it.

I wish the wet room wasn't as slippery, but otherwise the room was perfect. Id say almost £200 for a night for no windows is excessive....But London prices! Otherwise lovely stay and you didn't have to interact with staff! It's all on your phone.... Lifts and keycards are a menace.

I really enjoyed my room, it had a very cosy vibe. Very comfy bed and I liked how the bed was positioned in the room. I had the superior room with a view of the planes flying in which was fun and there was good space in the room with an extra area with a table, chair and space for me to organise myself and my luggage. The room was well thought out. Perfect location at the airport. The reception staff were really wonderful - friendly, kind and helpful. I didn’t catch the name of the person who checked me in, he was lovely and I’d like to thank him for being so excellent!

The bathroom was a wet room. I don’t enjoy wet rooms as once you’ve had a shower the floor is still wet every time you want to use the toilet or sink. I understand that space is limited and I can see why they designed it that way and I’m sure many people wouldn’t mind it.
