The owner, Nicholas was polite, accommodating, helpful and courteous. We did not have a taxi contact from rail station and he provided the details immediately. The room was at right at the top, the cleanliness/freshness of the bed sheet, pillows, towels, toiletries, etc were much appreciated! The magnificent view outside the window was breathtaking! The breakfast was excellent with very diverse options, and Nicholas himself prepared the dishes. He gave us some very good tips on where to visit and it all worked out well for both of us. A hotel well worth visiting!

Nothing really, just the room a little small, but manageable.

The breakfast was amazing, and loved the vibe of the people who worked there. friendly, fun and helpful. Our stay was short and we were there for Boardmasters festival so didn't really get to use the place to it's full potential I guess, but a short walk to town and the beach meant we could actually go! The honesty bar was used, and the slightly out of tune piano was also fun. The breakfast room was homey and was nice to meet other guests, and in the evening it felt like we had the place to ourselves and wasn't disturbing anyone, which was surprising as it was fairly cozy (I hope we didn't actually disturb anyone!).

The room we had was VERY cosy, but for what we needed it was absolutely fine, we only had small hand luggage style suitcases, anything bigger wouldn't have been very practical. I am a very small person and so is my friend, but someone of a bigger stature might struggle in that room/bathroom.

The hairdryer needs replacing, unfortunately trying to dry my hair was very hard, the hairdryer got very hot very quickly and I think if others were to use it, it may cause a hazard. The WIFI could do with improving one minute it works and then the next it cuts off, which affects the TV signal, minor things but apart from that it was nice room.

Location to town was good, breakfast excellent. Big room with seating area.

My biggest complaint was the size of the bathroom. Sitting on the toilet-your knees were literally inches from the wall. If we were 7' and one foot wide it would be perfect as I could only see the top of my head and eyes in the mirror. The shower door only opened enough to have to squeeze (and I mean squeeze) into the shower.

Breakfast is excellent. Big choice and very good quality. The hotel has a very nice style and shows a lot of very nice details. Also the owner is super-friendly. He gives an authentic feeling of being welcome.

The room that we had was very small. But at the end we could arrange ourselves as our stay was only for 3 nights. Parking situation is also not so good in the area as we forgot to book the parking. We recommend to book the parking in advantage to make sure that the car can stay in front of the hotel.

This property is a real treasure! It is in a great location which is only a short walk into Newquay centre. The hotel itself is done up gorgeously with lovely quirky decor and lots of little extras. The staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. The breakfast was beautiful and had a range of different options on offer such as French toast, boiled eggs and soldiers, avocado toast as-well as cereals/tea/coffee and juices etc. It was great to see a change from the usual boring fried breakfast which is the only option in most hotels. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a trip to Cornwall. This is defiantly a great accommodation option and something different from the usual hotel chains.

Everything was more than perfect!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Yo, who looked after us during our stay. The room with the sea view was lovely. Clean. Nice and quiet. Comfortable bed. Breakfast, although not your traditional cooked breakfast, was very tasty. Good range of choices, and beautifully presented. Would love to stay again if we came back to Newquay. X

Lovely helpful host & really nice friendly breakfast lady. Bed was comfortable & wonderful bedding & towels. No full English breakfast but certainly not a problem as the choices were all cooked to perfection. Also the fabric blinds all looked new & great quality & design

The presidential room had a French doors to a balcony but it was extremely difficult to open so had to leave closed.

The hotel was full of personality.Our room was very clean and very comfortable-had a lovely view and there was lots of little extras to choose from. There was a kettle for tea and coffee and a coffee machine .The bathroom had eco friendly toiletries -in paper packages. Our breakfast was delicious,served freshly cooked with lots to choose from -with also a generous selection from the buffet table.

Nothing- our stay was lovely there, lots of additional little extras towards our comfort.

Property is just fabulous with great personality. Rooms are so luxurious and comfortable. Loved the lounge area to relax and have a drink. Fabulous hospitality and warm welcome . Yo-yo was an absolute delight to meet and looked after us at breakfast which was delicious and kept our room gorgeous. Will definitely be staying again. Highly recommend
