Smooth efficient checkin. Super friendly owners, down to earth and welcoming. Dog friendly which is so reassuring as my dog is very much part of our family. I stayed in the King Studio which was spotless and wow so spacious. Much bigger than expected. Queen bed in lounge room and the bedroom had 3 singles. Is definitely big enough for a family to fit comfortably. The bed was very comfortable, perfect after a tiresome weekend of shows. The room was well equipped with oven and fridge/freezer and microwave. Open plan kitchen dining lounge with large sliding doors. Plenty of natural light. Heat pump if needed but unit was really warm. Sky TV with all channels and big screen. Motel rooms are back from main road so low traffic noise. Room serviced daily unless requested otherwise. My dog and I had a fantastic stay and will be using this motel again in the future. No extra charges for dogs and is so well priced. Highly recommend!

I could not fault a thing!

Very comfortable bed. Allowed pets which is excellent. Close to Northland's Mall and Papanui. Very central. Owner upgraded me to bigger ground floor unit which I appreciated Very helpful and obliging. Sky TV. Although on main highway little traffic. noise. Good value.

Older units. Hot water in shower not brilliant.. Pressure in the kitchen sink not good. Carpet needs a good clean. However, perfect for a few nights away from home. No complaints really. Will be back and recommend.

Location was good as long as you had a car as a little out of city centre. Stewart? on reception was lovely, smiley and very welcoming. Apartment was very spacious though a little dated, quiet at night and the comfortable bed had fabulously clean white bed linen.

Nothing, our one night stay was comfortable and did the job perfectly. Some restrictions on cooking (perfectly acceptable) might put some travellers off. Catering options were basic but adequate (we didn’t use anything other than fridge/kettle).

The staff was nice and chatty, and we had great conversations then, knowing some useful information about Christchurch during my trip. The room was clean and great. Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful rest there.

We were out of hot water during our shower in night, and the temperature was quite low at night (about 9 degrees outside). We were so panicked then, we finished our shower with cold water……. It was lucky and my boyfriend didn't get cold. Otherwise, the room was totally nice.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger room when we arrived which was very nice. The room was clean and we appreciated the King size bed. Location was good being on a main road heading into the city with traffic noise never being a problem in the room. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable place with plenty of space, car space great staff

Needs a bit of update tap in bathroom vanity was loose but won't stop us from staying again one side of bedroom had a sloping roof so had to be careful when getting out of bed you didn't hit your head maybe turning bed around might solve that

No breakfast but good facilities for cooking and food prep if needed. Was very quiet and restful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Even helped to return a jacket we had left behind. Great service.

A few more power points near the bed would have been handy but no deal breaker...

A lovely pet-friendly motel with equally lovely staff! Off street parking, fresh, clean bedding and a great shower.

Well this is being very picky, but most motels now used the same brand tea/coffee/hot chocolate- the tea is very weak and tasteless. I usually take my own teabags so it’s not a big issue for me at all, and as I said, it would be bout the only fault I could possibly find.

Host was fantastic, we were able to drop our car off in the morning as we were going to a wedding and when we got there the room was also ready so he checked us in then! The room was huge and we will be keen to bring the whole family next time. Very lovely and friendly host.. Thanks you.

Handy location for us easy walking distance to shopping mall and cafes. On bus route into city. Handy to most locations including beach. The hosts were exceptional very friendly and very helpful. The units are extremely spacious and have everything you need for a short or long stay.

It was tired and needing updating, it certainly didn’t affect our stay. We stayed for 2 plus weeks and were very comfortable.
