The staff at reception were very professional and helpful. The staff really create a 4 star experience. The hotel itself whilst could benefit from some updating is still visually stunning due to its belle epoch architecture and beautiful location by the river. The gym is very basic but the pool is good. The restaurant is classy and intimate but not too stuffy. Breakfast is amazing. All in all a great stay only criticism would be our room could do with an update it was a little 1990’s but the view made up for it.

The staff were extremely professional, friendly but also respecting privacy. I travelled with my german shepard, and experienced one of the doggie friendliest hotel. Bed, bowls and even a beefstick provided. I wasn’t corrected for letting my dog walk with no leash. But since my dog walks next to me at all times, i don’t see the need. Again they used common sense which shows the professionality of this establishment. The Beau Rivage is extremely clean, but I do expect that in places like this. But what really gave a signature to their cleanliness is the poolwater. It is fresh, clean and steril in smell. I would like to fantasize they use pure glacier water, at least I felt like that in comparison to like every other Hotel.

The balconies are extremely tiny and lack of privacy. But let’s be real. This is an authentic old victorian kinda era hotel, and they want to keep that authenic. Probably this building is even protected for rebuilt, so that is part of the experience.

It was my birthday and I was given a surprise special attention at the breakfast with birthday song and sparkle light. The variety at the breakfast was also great. The room was quite comfortable with almost every needed toiletries. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The Spa area was superb. The entire indoor felt like living in a castle though not so modern but all classy and feels homely.

The swimming pool was not warm enough. The carpet in the room looks old though very clean.

The hotel is within walking distance of Interlaken Ost station. Local souvenir shop and Coop nearby. Halal restaurant just opposite the hotel. Room is antique, sufficient space for 1 person. I stayed there during early spring. No need for air conditioning, just a portable fan and a heater. Breakfast has plenty to offer as a Muslim. I enjoyed staying here.

Breakfast was fairly GOOD as compared to many places I’ve visited, it was excellent. The restaurant where it’s served is beautiful—bright, airy, and inviting—and some of the staff were especially warm and welcoming.

Don't think of anything that really made me dislike the place. I would love to stay here again upon my next visit. It was fabulous really.

coffee service during breakfast is really slow and once even forgotten. Simply adding one dripping coffee machine, if not an automatic multi-function coffee maker which is very popular even in 4-star and 3-star hotels, will solve the problem and at least customers would not wait for too long for a simple black coffee.

Breathtaking views, 5 minutes walk to Interlaken Ost station, good variety at the breakfast and staff was really helpful. We will definitely visit again.

The rooms were incredibly spacious, and the breakfast options were excellent, with a great and friendly staff.

The bedding and pillows were uncomfortable, and the rooms felt extremely warm.
