This hotel seemed like a really chilled atmosphere , mostly older people stayed from what I noticed , staff were pleasant and the room it's self was half decent with a comfy bed and pillows. I don't see what people don't like about the place from the bad reviews I have read. I went with my partner and my toddler and all of us were happy enough! The location was good too with the beach and main strip only a 10 minute walk at the max! I would stay again

Lovely hotel and staff, and a tasty breakfast. Very clean and spacious. Clientele when we were there were majority older generations but it was not an issue. Lovely comfortable beds with iron, hairdryer and hot drink facilities. We used the hotel as a base and the location is very central and easy to travel to different places in Scarborough. Nothing is too much from staff, all were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

No major issues. Breakfast was lovely and mealtimes were organised.

comfortable clean room , good entertainment breakfast choices

I am disabled and walk with a stick so I do think there should be parking spaces provided if you went out in the car you were lucky to park near the entrance you had to be searching for a space not good when your disabled. Also not a lot of room to move around in the toilet and shower room.

Hotel was very good, location was excellent for our needs for Scarborough & managed to park right outside, given a parking permit straight away without any haggling about it! Twin room was clean & good value for the money paid. Single beds were on the narrow side but neither of us fell out so we managed with them ok! All in all a very pleasant stay.

Shower was a bit spluttery & made a noise but we were on the top floor so probably to be expected!

This hotel was quaint. Nice and clean. Lovely large shower with good hot water. Front facing room which was large to accommodate 3 people. Breakfast room big and airey. Service was quiet good. Help yourself to cereal etc. Hot food was served plated. Nice hot good quality food. There was evening entertainment but we did not go into concert room.

The floor boards were very creaky and the early morning noise from people walking around was horrendous.

Great location and free parking. Good sized room with a proper sized TV. Great sized shower room and a decent sized shower 🚿 with Great pressure plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast with a good choice of options. Very helpful staff both reception and dining room.

Bit noisy while the evening entertainment was taking place especially as our room was right about the bar / entertainment room.

Lovely staff. Being served breakfast fresh, not buffet style.

Breakfast, evening dinner was very good, service was excellent. Entertainment was very good and bar staff were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower and toilet facilities super. Location great. Will definitely be back.

Not a big issue, but lovely girl on the reception could do with some help. She worked very hard but had a lot to do on her own.

Nice location.. nice warm welcome on arrival very clean and Welcoming reception . Clear directions to our room and explained about the breakfast in the morning by the receptionist . Room was perfect. Very comfy with an okay view. Breakfast was very nice, and I would like to give all credit to our server ROBERT who was very attentive during a very busy breakfast morning… very polite, chatty a genuine nice person.

Only one criticism..window for breakfast between 8 and 9 o’clock was a bit tight.

The room was lovely and clean with a nice view. The room facilities were a nice touch. The staff in the bar and the entertainment were amazing. (Kim and Kerry i believe) The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The entertainment was fabulous (Joelle) with a wide range of songs to sing and dance to! Loved it!

The only negative was the communal stairs and landings had a funny smell (like a nursing home). The guests did seem to be of an older generation but we loved this, and made some friends during the evening.
