The property was beautiful and had tons of character! The staff was very friendly!

Breakfast was very good! Everyone was pleased.

We didn’t have any hand soap at the sink or body wash for the 1st 2 days (out of 3 nights’ stay). We were located on the 12th St. side, which was extremely loud at night with cars and motorcycles-and we were on the 7th floor. Also, late night partiers coming home woke us up at 2:30 am and 4:30 am. being loud in the halllway. Something to help with noise reduction would be beneficial!!!

Excellent location - close to lots of bars and restaurants in the Power & Light district, and close to the free streetcar. Large room with big comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot. Shuffleboard on the mezzanine floor was a nice touch. Art deco style was really cool. Staff were really friendly.

Room was only cleaned once during a 4 night stay (although one of these days was Thanksgiving so not sure if that affected things). AC was a bit hit and miss when trying to heat the room.

The front desk staff were so welcoming and kind. When I commented on how pretty the lobby was, the person helping me, told me a little of is history and gave me a sheet on more of three history about the place. Three person who brought my meal up to my room was so sweet and the room had an old school charm and was very clean. The valet staff were very kind.

It would have been nice to have had a fridge but it wasn't a deal breaker.

We chose this hotel because it is historic and close to the venue we were attending. It was comfortable and clean.

The attached restaurant was subpar for breakfast. They didn't offer toast or anything else with the omelet. The taste of the food was mediocre. We had to ask for butter for the toast that we paid extra for and had to request salt and pepper. However, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

The room was very nice and clean, the bed was great and bathroom too. The room was also very quiet and you only had to walk 5 minutes to the power and light district which was very handy.

We had to give our credit card information during check in and they charged an extra $26 dollars while we didn’t spend anything. We had to cal and it took a week before we got it back so just make a double check to see if they didn’t charge you extra.

My sister and I stayed here for the weekend. The guys outside assisting with parking/valet were so helpful, the ladies at the front desk were amazing at check-in, and the room was great for what we needed!

The only downside for me is paying for parking. When you pay $150+ per night for a room, I feel parking should be included. It wasn't any different anywhere else, though.

The front desk and valet staff were absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming.

It was a busy weekend so getting to our room later in the evening was difficult because the elevators are small. Check-out was the same. The check-out time was fine but actually getting down to the lobby with our bags was a slow process because of the size of the elevators. The only solution that might ever work would be to stagger the check-out times by floor. The charm and beauty of the property more than made up for this MINOR inconvenience.

The staff was incredible and we Loved the Speakeasy!! The restaurant was wonderful as well as the people working there...the valets were so great, they were a perfect greeting to the hotel! They always remembered us, entertaining during excursions and went out of their way to help an elderly couple who were staying at the hotel as well.

It is close to the T mobile center. Old hotel ,but I liked the charm

Didn't like they jack the price of a room up for the Big 12 tournament. I know all the hotel's do it. And I didn't like having to pay for parking
