Great location near the railway station. Very clean and modern rooms. Surprisingly quiet despite the busy streets nearby. Lots of eating options nearby.

The air conditioning didn’t do a particularly good job of cooling when it was 33 degrees outside. WiFi was also a bit stop-start. Charging to leave bags for a few hours after checking out is a first for me and a bit objectionable. Better to use the automated lockers at the railway station which are cheaper and give you longer. The streets nearby are a bit sketchy with some ‘ladies’ hanging around looking for business even at 9 in the morning…

Well-located, about an 8-minute walk from the train-station and although in the heart of Geneva's Red Light District as frequently pointed out in reviews, this was absolutely no hassle for me whatsoever. There are ample food shops close-by, pumping out ethnic-cuisines from multiple countries, so sensational smells around every corner. The room was comfy and warm after hitting the air-con to heat and although there was a bit of a noise from it, the level of mattress comfort had me in the land of nod within minutes. Hope to be back soon.

For the price in Geneva, location and level of friendly service, one cannot complain.

It was very near to the train station which was superb as we could walk there. Paquis fabulous area for street food/food around the world. All staff were very helpful and available 24 hours. Rooms basic but beds and pillows very comfortable

Hotel situated in Paquis which is Geneva’s red light district. Lots of sex workers day and night who didn’t bother us and I guess, we were offered drugs on the street too one evening when we went out. Police cruised by often though. Key card for room wasn’t reliable and twice in the lift it needed recharging which was a bit annoying. Area quite noisy as was the hotel, even at night

5 min walk from the train station. Buzzing area, it is on the Redlight district, so if you're a prude or traveling with small kids, maybe not the best choice. We only stayed 1 night, but we got the most put of it between the nightlife and the sightseeing. The room is small. Water pressure is good. It is an 8 min walk to the lake where you can catch the ferry to the otherside and pass by the Jet D'eau on the water! There is a great speakeasy around the corner called Bambou. It's thru a restaurant besides the Bridgett Club.

The AC was not cooling at all. It was a hot night.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, which is always a top priority for me. For a short trip, this hotel works well, but a few adjustments to the room amenities could enhance the overall experience. (Such as a storage). Convenient location.

A bit lack of storage space was noticeable—there was very little to no room to place clothes, which might be inconvenient for a longer visit. The towels were quite small, and there was only one provided for both face and body, but they ended up working fine for us during our short stay.

We had a short stay, 3 nights, twin room. The hotel was clean, modern design, staff polite and kind, English speakers, beds amazingly comfy. Bath has shampoo, shower gel and liquid soap. There is a great adaptor for charging electronics. Location is very good, only 5 min walk in both directions, to the lake and gare. Lots of places to eat good food, on the street.

The room was quite small, yet compact and nice design, modern. However, there could be room to improve the storage space. There is a desk with no purpose. We were given only one big towel per person. There should have been at least two, one for body, one for head/hair. No fridge in the room. On the hotel street, after 10 pm and in the morning there are a lot of prostitutes. This is not a complimentary thing for the hotel itself. It felt not safe being on the streets late hours.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was very convenient for walking to major attractions. The breakfast was excellent - lots of variety, hot and cold options (eggs, cheeses, meats, cereals, yogurt, bread), bottomless coffee. The rooms were small but that was expected. The wifi was functional. I arrived on an early flight to Geneva and couldn't check in for hours but the hotel allowed me to leave my bags with the front desk until I was able to check in.

The hotel is on the border with the red light district so depending on which way you turned out of the doorway and down the streets, you could encounter some local color. Take care when walking at night.

The hotel boasts a prime location in the city, offering effortless access to Geneva’s main attractions. Our room was spotless, and our one-night stay was overall very comfortable and convenient. A special shout-out to Sina for making our check-in seamless and hassle-free. His warm hospitality and thorough local insights helped us navigate the city efficiently within a day. Much appreciated, Sina!

We had anticipated finding a minibar, a small fridge, and a coffee machine in the room, but unfortunately, these amenities were not provided. That was the only drawback of our stay.

Very comfortable, front desk very friendly and hospitable. Room was super clean. Had everything I needed. Perfect desk and seat to work from. Location was great in terms of wider travel ( access to the train station ). Showers were excellent too. Its rarely easy getting that sweet spot of pressure and flow, but Ibis have pulled it off somehow, Orinoco like - Enya would approve. Be advised it seems to be in the heart of a kind of rather 'red light district', which I hadn't anticipated - such like, at least not outside of Amsterdam, and didn't engage in for what its worth -, albeit intermingled with some very nice restaurants and respectable pubs and bars. I'm sure the breakfast was top notch too but I was too busy with work (catching trains, or rather, getting on the wrong one (again), then being told off by seasoned station masters etc., and getting both my steps and cardio quota in simultaneously, in attempting to get the right train).. I digress, that is to pay too much attention to the buffet. Hotel breakfast seemed to pull in a strong crowd though, if one were to benchmark by numbers.

Hard to fault it, met my expectations. If I really, really must be critical - indulge me - then the Swiss range of TV channels were patchy at best, and I can speak neither French nor German. Which doesn't help. My bad. However for some reason they seemed to be showing University Challenge at the regular time (20.30), in English, to boot, so kudos for that, albeit I only managed to get one question right in the whole half hour (if I'm being generous), and Paxo has obviously retired, which I'm still disappointed about, but the new chap is quite good (but no one can ever really replace Paxman, can they?)

This is the cleanest and most spacious Ibis (3*) I've stayed in so far. It also looks quite modern, judging by the furnishing, although it remains a 3* hotel. The staff is genuinely very kind and helpful, I particularly appreciated them. Breakfast is good and reasonably varied. Everything I've tasted has been of good quality. Coffee (from the machines) is much better than in similar hotels in Northern Europe (you can tell there is an Italian touch to Geneva!) The shower cabin is spacious. The sink could be a bit larger, and the bathroom could do with a tad more storage space. The room is very spacious for Ibis standards! Standard amenities for a 3* hotel (TV, a small desk, phone, bedside table, plenty of sockets!).

There was a light smell of cigarette smoke coming through the airvent in the room. This is not the first Ibis in which I've faced this problem.
