Good location, good facilities, clean
The fruit in the breakfast was sour and old almost every second day. We spent just over 3 weeks there, and the fruit was sour many days while we were there. Absolutely unacceptable in a hotel with that standard and for the price they charge for breakfast. The staff is just fine, not very friendly at all, especially one guy that was quite rude to us one of the days because we asked him to clarify something and apparently he had no time for us, he was training some girl. He was quite sharp to my mum. One of the blonde ones in reception, also with a grumpy face and no patience at all, very frustrating.

It is a beautiful hotel, in a nice setting. It is situated on a bus route with frequent buses into the city centre. The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly. It was a very busy weekend, but they were very attentive and patient with all queries. I loved the pool facilities, with a three lane 20m pool, shallow facilities for children, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The staff on duty in the leisure facility during my stay were particularly helpful. The bar was very pleasant. The band on Saturday night were particularly entertaining and very musical. I would definitely stay here again.
I can see that the hotel is being renovated, but that didn't cause any disruption at all. The work that has already been done in the downstairs corridors is impressive. However, I was disappointed with our room on the top floor. For the cost, I would have preferred something a bit less basic. It just felt rather shabby: the carpets and furnishings felt tired and outdated. I have stayed in more luxurious budget hotels, for a lot less money.

Super Hotel. Large, busy - but very clean & comfortable. Despite being very busy - our stay was very relaxed. The service was great, and there was no disruption from the events that were going on. Lots of things (everything) about this hotel is great. I think the 'standout' things were (a) The staff - extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. NOTHING was any trouble. (b) The CLEANLINESS - the hotel and the bedrooms are super clean. (c) the service - despite being busy - we didn't have to wait for anything - the service is very efficient - but in a very friendly and helpful manner. Beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms (we were in the 'B' wing') are beautifully clean. Breakfast is great - the cooked breakfast ingredients (sausages, pudding) are high quality rather than cheaper items. LOTS of car parking, and what looks like an extensive fitness area including a pool and kiddies play area. Hotel is very well located, Galway city centre can be reached by walking - but it's not a short walk - possible 30 minutes. However there are plenty of taxis outside the hotel, and theres a frequent bus service to the city centre (10 minutes on the bus) from across the road. I knew when I was booking the hotel that it was a 'good' hotel - but despite that - I was really pleasantly surprised when I visited. I'll definitely stay there in future..
Hard to point to anything that could be better. One of the toilets in the fitness centre needed cleaning but I only visited it once - and this was so out of character with the rest of the hotel that I suspect it was a one off, and was most likely sorted out very quickly.

The pool was lovely, plenty of hairdryers. chicken wings divine 😋 Food overall was good. Lots to choose for breakfast. Had asked for happy 40th plate in room but nothing
No locks on lockers in pool and no machine to dry swimwear. Room was nice but no water bottles, no shower caps. Bathroom was OK nothing special and family room was crapped with double bed and Bunk, no space besides. Also the floor boards outside the bathroom door were ridiculous so noisy, if someone went to loo during night it would wake you up. Also the night we waited we were woke twice between 2 and 3am by people passing the door v loudly. Overall hotel was good but for the price I paid it wasn't worth it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! It's the perfect choice for families, especially those with young children. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. What truly sets this hotel apart is how well it caters to families while maintaining top-notch facilities. The amenities are thoughtfully designed, ensuring both kids and parents have a fantastic experience. Everything is impeccably maintained, which adds to the overall comfort and peace of mind. It’s refreshing to find a family-friendly hotel that doesn’t compromise on quality or service. We couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone traveling with kids. A truly excellent experience!
slightly over cowed at breakfast and dinner times

Excellent staff and very friendly. They provided us with ice to keep my medication cold. There was no small fridge in the room but none of the hotels/places we booked had such amenity in Ireland. This is one of the few hotels that provided ice or ice water if you requested. The bar was great even though I don't drink it was very accommodating with my silly drink requests. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thank you everyone!
Fridge in the room, just kidding. It was great, nothing negative.

Really lovely family oriented hotel, it has all the facilities you could need on site like vending machines, coffee/tea area just inside the entrance, very handy to have in hotel. Hotel room was lovely & comfortable. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was lovely & so much to choose from, we did have to Que but you could see the staff were working hard to clear up tables & the Que did move quickly. It was my first time to travel anywhere with my twins so I was a bit nervous but we really enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning!
The room was quite warm & since I could only open the window a small bit it was a bit difficult to sleep with the heat. Would be handy to have a temperature gauge that you could adjust it as needed.

Hotel was extremely busy but this did not affect our experience during dinner or breakfast. Staff were very efficient in restaurant and dining room and all staff at hotel were very friendly. Good selection of food for breakfast. Location was excellent and is less than half an hour walk to town. Bus stop outside for those who prefer not to walk.
Although our room was clean, there was room for improvement, i.e on bathroom mirrors, bathroom floor and sink countertop/vanity area. Nothing major but not the standard of cleaning you’d hope for. Also wooden surfaces in bedroom area in need of sanding/varnishing. None of this would stop me staying again however and our overall experience was very positive.

Great stay in one bedroom apartment. Quiet, clean, well appointed room with free access to laundry. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Bar and restaurant was very convenient as were nearby convenience stores. Short Uber trip or walk to city. Next time we'll use the pool and also consider a rental car given the ease of parking. I give this hotel 5 stars because of their obvious successful effort to resurrect an ageing facility. Congratulations to management for pulling together an effective service team. Thankyou.

Room was outstanding. Breakfast was also superb (when not overrun by American tourists and their very unusual method of taking up all the area and blocking the ability to get food). Siting was also great and we both drove and used the bus to get into the City Centre. Can't fault it, both my wife and I loved the hotel. Oh, and ground floor as well, no lifts or stairs! Winner!
Coffee stand shut too early. Would be nice if it ran to the evening but can't have everything. It is hard to find any other issues, we both really enjoyed our stay.
