The accommodation was in a central location, on the state highway connecting New Plymouth CBD to Mount Taranaki. It was spacious, tidy and had the added bonus balcony, where one could enjoy a cup of coffee. Also, there were cups, dishes, bowls and cutlery to enjoy a nice take-out meal. The management was very responsive.

The smaller bed was a bit uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a stovetop, where some meals can be prepared, specially breakfast. There were a few issues with the toilet, though they were addressed by the management promptly.

Spacious, very clean, well suppliied with cooking and eating utensils, plenty of pots and pans for using oven, cooktop and microwave. First facility to have salt and pepper shakers which was wonderful. Comfortable beds, pillows and lounge suite. Nice supply of liquid soaps and lotions and tea and coffee etc. Lovely aircon in the lounge area and plenty of TV channels. Quiet surroundings especially for sleeping while still close to main road into town. Good to have a well labelled carpark outside the door. Would definatley return.

Nothing. One of the best I have stayed in New Plymouth at this price range.

Room was clean and well equipped. Building is well insulated and very warm, we appreciated the heat pump to cool our room. The room would have been very quiet if not for the neighbours earthworks at the time of our visit.

Unfortunately we stayed when the neighboring property was undergoing site work, so noisy & vibrating equipment right beside our room from early morning till late night. Parking is available on site, but not sure there is one for every room, we managed to get the last available park. In future I would check with management that the park was guaranteed when booking.

We really enjoyed the spacious unit and having a beautiful view from the veranda. The unit was very peaceful, had a very comfortable bed, good black out curtains etc and had all that we needed for a very pleasant stay. We particularly appreciated the fact that the unit has a bath as well as a shower.

There is one issue with the bath which was a bit surprising. The tap outlet is in the middle of the bath so that if you want to fill the bath with more warm after when you are in it you get burnt!!!

The property was clean, tidy, modern and in a handy location.

It was advertised to have 3 single beds in the second bedroom which would have been ideal for my 3 young kids, but there were two beds in the room and one in the lounge and there was no deadbolt on the door so it was a safety risk having my young child sleeping alone in the lounge. Also I didn’t like how they gave us milk in an unmarked glass bottle and provided only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a family of 5 so had to buy our own.

Very clean unit. Loved the shower. So powerful you got a teeny massage as well. Great location. Every day the room was serviced which was unexpected as many don't do this anymore. Was a nice touch though

The bed was very comfy however one side of the mattress has rounded quite a bit and if you lay near the edge you'd feel as though you could roll off. Was quite annoying. The other side was normal. Would have rated our stay excellent aside from this

The room was not serviced accordingly the next day: No extra toilet paper was placed. The room was not vacuumed. Found a small cockroach in the room( managed to kill it with the spray that was provided, so thank u for that)

A very neat and comfortable room. Felt like we were in a hotel. Great location. Ordered in breakfast which was delivered to thd room. Lots of choices on the menu and was not expensive at all. Parking on site.

🤣just the signboard for motel was a bit confusing initially. It was on the outside of the fence so thought we had to go down the driveway that the signpost was on.

Great location. Has everything you need. Unit clean and spacious. Bathroom very large. Shower pressure good. Parking provided. Photos of the 2 bed units don't do it justice. We had 3 kids that fitted in well. Kitchen has everything you need including oven and dishwasher.

Bed was ok. Instructions on how to use TV and oven would be good.

Close to Pukekura Park and close to New Plymouth city. Quiet/ no noise from main road as windows are all double glazed. Excellent blinds/curtains so we were able to sleep well at night as room dark. Very clean. Head housekeeper/stand in manager Shaylee responded promptly to our request to get TV going so we could watch the news. She was friendly and welcoming which made me feel that I wasn’t just a number. Plus with her being a local she was able to advise us regarding local directions etc. Being environmentally conscious, it was pleasing to see NZ made bathroom soaps/ hand lotion and fair trade complementary teas, coffees and hot chocolates.

No dislikes. Suggestion : a central recycling bin on site to put recycling and also a central compost bin to put fruit skins or vege scraps
