I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect, right across the beach. The highlight was definitely the Dune restaurant - the dining experience was simply amazing. I can't wait to come back again!

While I had a generally pleasant stay, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Firstly, the reserved parking system seemed quite unorganized, causing some inconvenience. Secondly, the loud morning loading of beer barrels disturbed the tranquility of the place, and it would be great if this could be addressed. Lastly, the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy and old, but they gave us a new, quieter one when we asked. These improvements would certainly enhance the overall guest experience.

Excellent location overlooking Fistral beach and the sea surf. There is a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable Quiet and relaxing room, which was well equipped. The bed was big and comfortable. The leisure facilities were very good and easily accessed. The restaurant and bars were very comfortable and the service very good. There was good musical entertainment some evenings The breakfast selection was also very good. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful.

The hotel car park can be very crowded and difficult to access and egress. Not much can be done unless the number of spaces is reduced. The road outside is usually crowded with visiting vehicles making hotel parking there difficult. This, although inconvenient was not a major problem. The toilet flush took a long time to refill. This might not be an issue for some.

Room overlooking the sea was lovely. The sea view was so nice to go to sleep and wake up to. Parking at the property was good although expensive for a guest of the hotel. All the staff were attentive and pleasant. The location is beachfront with a short walk down to the beach. The food and service in the main restaurant was superb. I did use the spa, the pool is very nice and the spa treatment was so relaxing.

There is no local shop or somewhere inside the hotel to buy snacks other than what was at the bar. There was no aircon in the room so had it been really hot the room would have been uncomfortable.

All the staff were very helpful, polite and welcoming! My massage by Sophie was very relaxing and probably one of the best iv got (well done Sophie.) The bar and restaurant (breakfast too) were lovely, good view, good choice and nice food. Especially the tequila. The deck outside the car park was a nice touch to go a have a couple of drinks on, again lovely view better tbh. Sauna and steam were nice a hot every time I used them. Gym was probably one of the best hotel gyms iv used. The room we stayed in was spacious. £7 cab into town or 20 min walk.

The coffee machine at breakfast was awful like so bad. I went to the bar to get a coffee instead and turned out was the same machine the charged me £3.60 for it. The pillows were too hard for my preference I had a really bad night sleep. But the hotel in morning supplied me with softer pillows. No air con was really hot in the room. (Fan supplied) Our room was on two levels and the bathroom windows didn’t have blinds or a door so the light was getting in at 4:30am. Spa there was 4 chairs to relax no sun loungers as soon as the spa had 12-15 people it was over crowded.

Rooms and ambiance are always great. The greeting at breakfast from Neil and Sarah is always fabulous - so nice that they speak to everyone individually, and make each guest feel valued and special. Nothing is too much trouble, and menu choices are easily accommodated!

I requested a copy of the VAT invoice to be emailed to me on check-out, this wasn't provided. I have then entered in to a round of emails and phone calls trying to obtain the correct invoices, as invoices for previous stays were sent to me intitially, and then for the incorrect prices - even when I shared the booking.com confirmation email showing the value (and a snip from my credit card statement!) the hotel is unable to send me a set of invoices that match the amount I was charged.

Great location with fabulous view of the beach and ocean. The bar area, spa and hotel room were all fantastic. The breakfast was delicious.

A bit of a walk (20-30min) to Newquay town centre so not the place you want to stay if you want to go into town regularly. The breakfast was expensive at 25pp (it cost us £100 for a two night stay for 2 people) and it wasn’t clear that’s what we would be paying because the items are priced individually on the menu. I thought I was being charged £10 for avocado on toast but because I had a single croissant from the continental buffet, it cost me £25. It felt deceptive and although I pointed this out when paying the bill at checkout, I was dismissed.

We stayed in the sea view Suite which was absolutely beautiful. The view was spectacular, the bed was lovely and the personal indoor hot tub with the same sea view was a beautiful touch! We even went for a hot stone massage in the spa which we thoroughly enjoyed. Its a short walk from the beach which was beautiful too and it helped that the weather was spectacular. The spa facilities with indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were absolutely lovely and well maintained. No shortage of towels, bathrobe or slippers! We chose the 2 course dinner and breakfast included option - Dinner - lamb, pork and beef were awesome but desserts were a tad disappointing. Breakfast - you had to pick items from a menu, so the amounts were limited, the buffet aspect only included yogurt, cereal, granola and fruit. The staff everywhere were simply lovely.

The restaurant was the only slightly disappointing aspect of our stay. They changed the menu recently, so it was different from the website- chicken main course was dry and too salty, in terms of dessert- pannacotta was bland and chocolate parfait was just awful.

The location could not have been better; our balcony looked out on the main surfing beach and the view was spectacular. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The best and most professional of them all was Beth, the receptionist on duty when we arrived. She took the trouble to arrange a change of room at the very last minute to better accommodate my disabled wife and even assisted me to change my parking space when I got into difficulties in a tight spot. Nothing was too much trouble. We appreciated it so much. Thank you, Beth.

Everything was perfect for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was generously sized, with great facilities and very clean. The staff were very helpful and it felt as though they really cared about our comfort during the stay. The spa facilities including sauna, steam room and pool, as well as the gym facilities including group classes are included in the stay and the spa facilities were very clean. The breakfast was a cooked breakfast and very high standard. The bar was a great spot for some drinks and dinner, or even a cream tea during the day! Easy walk down to Fistral Beach and easy to access the coastal path as well. Can highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Hotel was lovely but very disappointed with the breakfast , the full English was not value for money

Understanding how the breakfast worked , we booked in and was told we could choose itemised breakfast but told to help ourselves to coffee juices and pastries and someone would come and take our order , we had a coffee juice and ordered a full English at £12.50 , however in other establishments £12.50 would be a large breakfast but this hotels breakfast considered of 1 bacon 1 sausage and egg a hash brown and tiny amount of beans . When we came to pay the bill we were charged the full £25 each !
