Everything! Location is amazing. Walk to everything including Southbank and 15 minutes Uber to St Kilda. Modern and funky with amazing bars and restaurants plus the pool is incredible with a bar and great views. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful from Alan on reception to Michael at Curios bar on the lower level. Our room was ridiculously big. I was tempted to put the sateen sheets in my suitcase and take them home. So comfortable! And the bed was huge too. Room was thoughtfully stocked with anything we may need from toothbrushes to a variety of beverages. The bathroom was huge and the products provided had a luxurious scent. Also there is a heated toilet with every function imaginable! I will be back. Cannot recommend highly enough. Genuinely five stars.

I wanted to commend Sabin (hope I got the name right), the duty manager for the excellent service we received at W Melbourne. When I first arrived at W Melbourne, I was disappointed with the valet service, who weren't very helpful with parking options. I have not even unloaded my luggages and the valet told me that there would be a charged if I lingered. Well, suffice to say I didn't bother to valet park at W and drove to another carpark. I gave my feedback to the duty manager, Sabin and he immediately apologised for the situation and sought to make things right. His wasn't defensive and he listened to the feedback. As customers, we just want to feel that you are listening and that you care. So what started poorly was salvaged by Sabin, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay at W Melbourne. It truly is a hotel with spectacular architecture and design. The room design is modern and spacious. They have a well equipped gym as well as indoor heated pool (remember to bring your swimsuits). Location is fantastic and you are just minutes away from great restaurants and shopping.

Valet is the first touch point of the hotel for guests driving in, and the service we received was disappointing to say the least. Welcome your guests properly and do provide them with proper information on whether to valet park (A$80 per day) or to park elsewhere. Don't shove a piece of paper to my face and ask me to scan QR codes for more information on the other carparks.

Myself and family spent a night here whilst in Melbourne Celebrating my mothers 60th birthday, the staff were so attentive, considerate in how they talked/presented making you feel at ease from the get-go. They made sure my family had the best experience possible. I also pre-arranged a number of extras (balloons, cake, champagne) for the room and everything was set up so cute in time for my mums arrival, they pulled the surprise off perfectly!

My only wish is for room service to be open later (Even just pizzas or toasties) so we could order some late night food after drinking.

The staff all went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The pool was fantastic too. It’s also in an amazing location in the Melbourne CBD.

The cleanliness needed more eye for detail. Our room was dust and things were not all cleaned properly when we arrived.

The W is a stylish hotel with a beautiful pool area and its location in Flinders lane is extremely convenient. An easy walk to the NGV, the shops and to a number of great restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable with some quirky design features and little bonus extras like the Japanese toilet. We had in room breakfast and a dinner which was super easy to order on the app, delivered very promptly and delicious. The service from the staff was always very friendly and efficient and we loved the relaxed nature of Bar Lollo. We will definitely return.

Love the friendliness of the staff. The comfort of the room. The efficiency of staff. The technology upgrade such us you can access your account and able to check out from your telly in the room. Conveniency of the location, restaurants in the hotel. Location of the hotel in the heart of CBD. The most outstanding is how they welcome our furbabies, with welcome box from Olly’s. They loved the treat. It is so worth it.

The location was perfect, allowing me to walk straight to my favorite restaurants. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—when they learned we were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with a chocolate that ended up becoming my favorite. They also upgraded our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the gym was well-equipped enough to support a variety of workouts.

What I didn’t like was not discovering this hotel sooner, especially since it has amazing restaurants and a spa right inside—I wish I had researched it better in advance. Knowing this now, I’ll definitely take full advantage of those amenities next time. I will surely be coming back again!

Fantastic location and the rooms are beautiful. We appreciated how helpful the staff was and overall vibe of the hotel was lovely.

The hotel itself is obviously high standard which comes with high price and that is OK. However, they are trying to charge you double to triple amount for abolsutely everything. The parking price is through the roof, things in mini bar are literally 3 times more expensive than in store (1 asahi for 13 dollars, smallest moet for 95 dollars) - they really need reality check. The pool area was dirty on Saturday, dirty towels and take out left all around, not collected glasses, just filthy. The wifi kept dropping out, the chromcast didn't work properly. Not something you expect at this high rate.

Room was excellent, comfortable, clean. Staff were super friendly and attentive, reception, house keeping - everyone -- well done & thank you.

Ordered some delivery food as kitchen was closed by 11pm. It was delivered to reception and no one mentioned it, I had to get dressed and go down and get it while it was getting cold. Could have called to let me know it was there or brought it to room. I feel the NYE fee being 3 x the price was a little steep, I will come back another time when it is regular rates to try some of the different rooms.
