The view from our room was one from a fairy tail. We didn't to go to a viewpoint as the room window and terrace were the viewpoints. It's just a 5 minute walk from the bus stop, very near to most of the tourist areas. The room was amazing, the hotel was beautiful, and the bathroom was clean. The dinning area had everything we needed. The terrace was an amazing touch to the overall experience.

there was just one issue- it was super hot when I was at Sienna, and my fan was not working properly and was slowed down. I could not find a regulator for the fan, so I had to sweat a lot at night.

Location is great, 5 minutes away from Piazza del Campo and next to Casa di Santa Caterina, right in the city center. It's also 2 blocks away from the Via Santa Caterina, which is the last climb in Strade Bianche and Giro d'Italia stages, if you are into cycling. There is free coffee, orzo and tea. The place is very clean and Eugenia and the rest of the staff are very attentive. The room was great, with a small table, night table and a closet. Even the room with shared bathroom had its own washbasin. The view from the balcony is the star of this place: you can see Torre del Mangia, the Duomo di Siena and the Basilica di San Domenico. It's truly a beautiful view.

A wonderful balcony with a beautiful view to the top of the city was located just around the corner from our pretty basic room, and we enjoyed the view a couple of times. One evening it was pouring rain, and an awning had been rolled out to cover the patio, which made it very cozy. Location was part way up the hill, and we were able to take a bus and wind our way through the narrow streets to the location. Kitchen area had hot water and tea.

Not something we didn't like about the Albergo Bernini, but a fact of life--Although we hadn't thought about it prior to staying here, one of the "hazards" that accompanies travel is the chance of bedbugs arriving with other guest's luggage. A note reminded us not to put our suitcases on the beds to prevent the spread.

Let me tell you something. If I had only stayed in this hotel in the heart of Siena for the three days we were there I would have enjoyed sienna so much because this hotel is right in the heart of it. It has more beautiful decks and open spaces to relax and hang out and play the board games or read the books that they have available. They have free coffee and tea and everything is so well appointed, this space is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed. Again if I had just stayed in the hotel for three days, I would’ve had the time of my life, it is impossible to explain. we did the shared bathroom option which worked out just fine and there were never anybody else in there so a number of the rooms also have their own private bathroom.

There’s nothing to say here other than I would say that we only got one set of keys and after a day of me and my daughter being out and about, I realized I should just ask for a second set of keys so that we could each come and go as we pleased, and they gladly obliged. I would just simply have your own bathroom if that’s something that is of interest.

I loved this house. The view of the dome from the terrace was incredible! It was the perfect place to have coffee and wine. Absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect and easy to find.

If I had to be extremely picky, I wish the beds in our room were bigger. I think the room we were assigned was intended for 3 solo travelers rather than a couple sharing a bed, but it was well worth it for the panoramic view from the window.

The hotel is in the centre of Sienna with stunning views of the cathedral and the ancient houses surrounding it. We were fortunate to have the best room and view in the hotel, and as we were staying for a week, that was a pleasure Although a couple, we had the option of individual double beds, so both had a good nights sleep every night. Storage was limited, but we were able to put our stuff on a spare bed. We had to share a bathroom, and at first we assumed this would be the worst aspect of our stay, but each bathroom is clearly marked as to which rooms can use it, and we only had to share with one other room, and there were no issues. The shower was powerful and hot. The proprietor, Eugenie, was so kind and helpful, especially as we had hired a car and needed lots of advice re parking. She was always nearby in an upstairs flat, so we had the benefit of both privacy, and her availability. There is an outside terrace to sit on, with stunning views, but as the weather was cold, we did not use it much.

The tables and chairs in our room need tightening up and were a bit wobbly. We could eat in the hotel, but had to do our washing up in our room, after eating, and that is not ideal: they really need a washing up sink for guests. The plates provided in the room for eating are side plates, so much too small. For the elderly (us) there are 12 steps or so up to the hotel itself, and with heavy luggage that was an ordeal. (We always mean to pack lightly, but somehow everything adds up).

The Albergo is very well located and has an amazing open air terrace with breathtaking views of the city. The building is not new but it’s in perfectly good conditions and all works fine. The atmosphere and decoration are lovely. Our room was spatulas and comfortable, WiFi is stable. The host, Eugenia is very friendly and welcoming!! She provides guests with tea, coffee and fresh water all day. We would definitely choose it again!

We had a wonderful stay at Albergo Bernini! The view from my room was breathtaking, offering a beautiful Siena. Waking up to such a view each morning was truly wonderful. The room also had a charming old Italian feel, the outside balcony was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The balcony added a special touch to the stay and one of the best views of Siena. The location of Albergo Bernini couldn't be better. Situated right in the heart of the city, it was within walking distance to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests or provide recommendations for local spots. The overall ambience of the hotel was warm and quite, making me feel right at home.

The Bed could do with improvement, not the most comfortable,

Great little find. Eugenia was really friendly, really helpful and very accommodating. Room was small and perfectly adequate. Beautiful views from the bedroom and bathroom windows. Lovely terrace. Quiet guests. Good wifi. Ideal location. Usual check out at 10 (or 10.30, can't remember which), but our pick up wasn't until 6pm. It was a very hot and busy Saturday in Siena and even though we'd checked out, Eugenia kindly let us return and use the facilities, including refreshing ourselves with water, and just relax in the common areas until our taxi arrived. I'm not sure what we would have done without this! Photos are bedroom and bathroom views. Oh, and the sound of the church bells was delightful.

Nothing. I always do a LOT of research when looking for accommodation and probably spent the best part of a day looking at places to stay in Siena. I was more than happy with this choice.

The view from the terrace where we ate breakfast was amazing.

Orientation could provide more information. I asked staff if we could unload luggage at the hotel. The answer was a simple no. What would have been more helpful would have been an indication of a nearby place where we could unload. We discovered it the next day, after we had dragged luggage through most of the town. The hotel offers no breakfast and the front desk is unstaffed after arrival though staff live upstairs. On arrival, it would have been helpful if staff had located 1-2 nearby spots to buy breakfast food on the map provided.
