This is our beloved place, it's the third time we've stayed here. And each time we got a nice welcome in comfy chairs with coffee, tea with milk and homemade peanut cookies. The host also gave us an Easter present, thank you very much. Room and bathroom perfectly prepared. Every day there was cleaning, changing towels, refilling coffee and tea and toiletries - we thank the entire staff for such service. As the hostess confirmed, only a few things had changed around here since last year :-) but what hadn't changed was a great breakfast: Irish breakfast, toast with butter and marmalade, scrambled eggs with salmon, pancakes, granola with yoghurt and fruit...coffee or tea with milk, of course. Nor has the smell of the white lilies that greet you at the reception and in the drawing room. The location of the accommodation is in a quiet part, just outside Dublin city centre as well as Sandymount Beach. We really love it here. We look forward to our next reunion.

Dining location was lovely. Kitchen was quiet and dining room was comfortable with nice view of terrace and garden. Service was great. Breakfast was always delicious and we sampled many items on offer. Juice was fresh squeezed and coffee hot with pot at table. Eggs were cooked perfectly and all was made to order. Very convenient to not have to walk into the village for breakfast.
On one morning we had an early appointment in Dublin. They were accommodating to let us come a bit early but having a 7 am option might have been nice. All worked well to get to our appointment so no problem.

This was our second stay at the Aberdeen Lodge. Ann and Pat are the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome - with tea and biscuits of course! The lodge is perfectly located just SE of Dublin Center, within a two minute walk to the Sydney Parade train stop and with a bus stop just outside the door. Our room was comfy with a very strong shower. The view from the room overlooked the lush back garden. Ann provided a delicious breakfast and the morning we left very early, she provided us a to-go bag with a sandwich, apple, parfait, and biscuits! Thanks to Pat, we saved time and money using public transport between the airport and Belfast. Ann also gave us great recommendations for hiking in Wicklow and Glendalough. This is the perfect accommodation and we will be back!
Nothing! This B&B has everything we want for a stay in Dublin. You can't go wrong!

The food was wonderful. I have some dietary requirements, and Ann was able to make beautiful, delicious, and safe meals for me. The room was clean, and it had everything I needed. Pat helped me so much with planning my day trips and where to eat. His advice was spot on. The location is absolutely amazing - about a block to the bus stop and just a little farther to the light rail station. It is also walking distance to the little village of Sandymount, which has a Tesco and some really wonderful restaurants. The price of staying at the lodge was really reasonable, especially for how convenient it was to get into the city center from there.

I loved everything about my stay at Aberdeen Lodge. Beautiful, thoughtful and comfortable facilities - I felt welcomed by Ann and Pat from the moment I arrived and appreciated so much their local insights and extra efforts to make sure I got the most out of my trip, it was exceptional. As mentioned in other reviews, the location is perfect as it's out of the city hubub whilst still being so accessible to transport. I would recommend to others and stay again if I'm lucky enough to be back in Dublin.

Fantastic place, great transport links within a short walk, beach and good restaurants also within a short walk. The room had a vintage vibe, which was in keeping with the house. Everywhere was elegant, clean, and comfortable. And the host and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I have no hesitation recommending this place and will return in the future.
I stayed for 2 nights - the room was cleaned, towels changed and beds made during my stay, despite putting a private sign up on the door. I would have liked the option to not have these things happen - better for the environment and reduces costs on many levels. Also the water in the shower wasn't the hottest on the first morning - warm enough to have a shower, but could have been warmer. Still, this wouldn't put me off coming back again in the future.

The check in with Pat was a complete package of local information for travel, restaurants and sightseeing, completed with available travel passes. The breakfasts prepared by Ann and the staff are excellent and served in the elegant white table cloth dining room. The dishes and service are superb. The place is immaculate. The location is excellent with easy access to the city and excellent destination highlights.

The host is very kind. She diligently answered all our questions before our stay and greeted us every morning with a bright smile, taking great care of us. Not only her, but all the staff at this accommodation are truly friendly and sweet, including Coco, Robby, and Sandy :) There are adorable, people-loving dogs that you can't help but love them. The clean rooms are equipped with everything you need. Enjoy a top-notch breakfast while overlooking the beautiful garden. The breakfast here was the best I've had in Dublin, made with incredibly fresh ingredients. You can choose from various options, and while everything is delicious, I highly recommend the French toast and scrambled eggs with salmon. After breakfast, you have the privilege of playing with the dogs in the yard. Lastly, I want to thank everyone for making our time in Dublin memorable and I miss the dogs so much....

The location is beautiful and safe! I could walk around at any time of the day and feel completely fine. The food is AMAZING, and the staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life. They made me feel like Dublin was my home away from home. Great recommendations, clear instructions for public transportation, clean and comfortable bedrooms, and just overall a luxury experience. I want to bring my entire family back someday.

Friendly staff, beautiful house. Felt very clean and comfortable. The location is great, it's near buses, the Dart and an easy walk to the Strand.
The floor boards are creaky and the sound insulation is non existent. We woke up every morning at 7am to the person in the room above us walking around and people having loud conversations in the hallway. For me, this was a deal breaker. If I knew about the noise, I wouldn't have booked here.
