I found the unit to have basic facility for me. We did notice the shower control was very sensitive and as superannuants (older people) this was tricky to manage. My husband mentioned this and it only needed a very slight move to become much too hot. I found the swimming pool a very good asset. However, for me, I found it difficult to get in and out of the pool. Maybe some pool step supports (not sure of particular name) to assist. I am not able to bend. I struggled.
There was nothing I didn't like. I am just wanting to suggest how things may work better.

Everything I liked about this place and why I will be back in future! Begin your journey at this outstanding establishment, where first impressions pave the way for an unforgettable adventure. From the main road to the driveway, the ambiance shifts, and you know you're in for something special. The reception area, pool, spa and playground are designed to pamper and inspire. The rooms exude a sense of calmness and are thoughtfully equipped to cater to your every need. The bed, oh so comfortable, is the epitome of relaxation. By the way my room #13 queen bed was perfect. Take a stroll around the site, bask in the beauty of fruit trees, I saw lemons and had to try 1, tasted so good almost like an orange in flavour. Marvel at the campervans and camping tents that dot the landscape. The place is a true gem, in this small town. It also offers self-service laundry and modern restrooms for the campers. It's a haven for travelers seeking comfort, tranquility, and adventure. I rate it 10/10, without a doubt, and make the most of your stay! Thank you to the owners neice who was absolutely amazing, great service and helpful.
The only thing is not being able to get an instant TV channel. Had to wait a bit for it to come on. Thats all. No drama, when it did come on I was knocked out anyway hahaha

Absolutely enough for one night. You get what you pay for. Super friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in a room with shared bathroom. It is a (comfortable) bed and one chair in a room. Because they are the furthest away from the street it was suprisingly quiet at night and I had a grwat sleep.. Everything seemed clean (room, toilets, showers and kitchen).
The bathrooms are right on the other side from the rooms, so you have to walk past all the "normal" rooms (with bathroom) to get there. Would be nice to have them closer to where they are needed, but it wasn't a huge issue.

The room was very snug but ideal for what I needed. The open grounds were really pleasant as well and if I needed some fresh air, I could just sit by a table outdoors which was lovely. The bathroom and kitchen were well kept and good enough for my needs.
The TV signal was quite poor and did not deliver good quality or consistency on many of the channels. The bed was also in a funny position where it blocked the outlet, so I had to adjust the furniture a bit. The bed did seem quite big for the room but that may have been okay for a couple staying over.

Extremely clean - lovely bed sheets - well appointed supplies with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and plenty of cups , plates etc. Great playground for children well maintained and inviting. Pool and spa area well maintained- spa cover changed so easier to move on and off!
Hard to access or exit of the main road - but once you had located the property - easy to work out - easier to go left to exit and turn left into the property rather than right across the traffic.

Friendly hosts and great communication when our expected arrival time was delayed. We were travelling with our 2 dogs and the units are pet friendly. Clean and tidy. The swimming pool looked greats and well kept gardens. The holiday park is close to the river, which is great for dog walking. Close to food outlets too.
Due to being right on Highway 1 there is a lot of traffic noise. The unit was very warm and could do with a fan or aircon unit for greater comfort.

It was a nice place and it was welcoming. The communal facilities were clean and user-friendly. The bed was comfortable, and there was a fan heated, plus TV. Pool and spa there as well, plus a playground for kids. Looks like they have a big area for caravan and motor homes. Shops an easy walk down the road.
Like a lot of these sites, there are people who just don't know how to be quiet. Cabin walls are thin. Next time, I will look at a studio. Need to remember to bring your own cutlery.

Beds were super comfortable, and we highly appreciated the heated blankets visiting New Zealand in the middle of the winter! We were lovely and cosy and warm. We had everything we needed, towels, soap, tea and coffee which was a nice touch being budget friendly.
It was a little noisy at times with people coming and going but that is to be expected at a motel!

It was convenient in the way down as a stop over from Auckland to Wellington
We arrived late as in transit, but the kitchen area was poorly equipped with no mugs to even make a coffee, luckily we had bought our own. Also the backpackers had taken over the kitchen/lounge not leaving any plugs, mobile phone in all! Our chalet was at the end so a way from the toilets at night.

The family room was well equipped and the spa was an extra we didn't consider at the time of booking. Very handy location, convenient facilites, ease of check-in and out and overall well presented. It does the job perfectly for that one night driving pass.
You may hear a bit of road noise depending on the room location but isn't unbearable.
