I liked the multicultural and diverse location , with a lot of Asian , Muslim , Syrian, Mediterranean, Pakistani etc food restaurants and it really reminded me of being back home visiting my grandparents area Whitechapel / Shadwell . The hotel was great for my needs. Simple but safe. Reminded me of staying at my cousins house. Funnily enough I managed to sleep better here than likes of Travelodge and Premier Inn. It provides with kettle, tea/coffee sachets etc. towels. Toilet roll, shower. Even prayer mat. Very good. Staff were friendly and patient. Offered to carry my suitcase up the staircase too. I would probably come again.

Good location, near city centre. After reading the reviews online I expected horrible things but was surprised when I arrived. There are two large living rooms with comfy sofas to relax on. Nice bathroom and big rooms. Such good value for the price

Small thing: got there late and tired, and there was no towel in the room; I wanted to go to bed but had to wait up and it took a while to get me a towel.

Good size room. Airy. Pleasant and helpful staff. Close to main street for buses into City centre

Had to ask for breakfast. Toast and cereal with hot drinks. No TV in room. May have been cheaper to book direct

The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a nice spacious room. The hotel owners let us check in a little earlier which helped as we arrived quite a bit earlier. Thankyou

The room didn't have a TV and is quite basic but nothing major, we were happy overall ,perfect for a night's stop over.

the room key didn’t work on my room and the night porter attempted 3 -5 other replacement keys before having to sift through the reception area for a “master key”, for about 1hr before I got into the room when he found the master key. by his own admission, this is a weekly occurrence

Staff were kind, breakfast was nice, the room was okay, I was allowed to check in before time and also had extra time to check out.

Room could be better cleaned as the carpet was visibly dirty, and the toilet seat was not well secured, but despite this things, I had a nice stay and I don't mind jumping in again👍.

Friendly helpful staff, very accommodating and flexible. Check in was not until 3pm but they looked after my bag and allowed a very late check in after my night out. Clean room, nice hand soap. Would definitely stay again.
