Our stay at The Morrow has been absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Niecy at the front desk provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure our family had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Her attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference, especially when traveling with a toddler. The location is unbeatable – we loved having the farmers market just around the corner (Thursdays are perfect for fresh finds!) and Union Market only an eight-minute walk away with its incredible variety of dining options all under one roof. The convenience factor alone makes this hotel stand out. As frequent visitors to DC, we can confidently say The Morrow has earned the top spot on our list. The combination of exceptional value, outstanding service, and thoughtful amenities creates an experience that truly exceeds expectations. This hotel delivers five-star quality in every aspect – we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel was very nice and well located — there was a supermarket, a CVS, and a 7-Eleven just steps away, which is a big plus for travelers who might need to pick up snacks or essentials. In my case, I had a $30 breakfast credit, which was excellent. There were also nearby options, like a Starbucks just a few blocks away. I’m not sure if all guests get the breakfast credit, so I’d just mention that it was a perk in my booking. Either way, it added to a nice experience. The location was also convenient — you could walk to most of the main tourist spots without it being too far, and if you preferred to take an Uber, the rides were short and affordable.

The only downside is that the hotel is located very close to the train tracks. It didn’t disturb our sleep, but at certain times of day, you could clearly hear the trains passing by. This might be something to consider if you’re a light sleeper or planning to sleep in late. For us, it wasn’t a major issue, but it’s good to be aware.

Amazing hotel! Very pleasant to stay at. Bonus that the body products were Santal 33!! Top notch customer service both at check-in and check-out! Rooms reset daily!. The champagne vending machine was a cute, cheeky addition. Ample parking on the residential streets, so skip the $65 per day parking fee. Just make sure to get the local app, so you can pay from your phone in your room.

The hotel lacks basic things like the ability to get basic necessities (i.e. toothpaste you forgot) but there are stores in walking distance. The penthouse restaurant is pretty good. Drinks better than the food. Was overcharged for my stay because some weird communication issue with the nightly rates but they resolved it instantly. Valet was a bit aggressive, asked me 30 times how long I would be parked in front the hotel. Our room was delayed and it took them about 15 mins to figure it out. He was so obsessive we decided to just park on the street. Make sure you pay attention to the clock! They will ticket you in a heartbeat!

The breakfast was OK. It took quite a while as there was only one cook in the kitchen and many people waiting. Not quite what we expected on a Friday morning. However, the food was delicious once we received it.

We arrived to the property on Thursday and the rooftop bar and lounge was closed for a private event until late. We went to dinner and by the time we came back, everything was closed. We had opted to use our credit rather than points, but couldn’t even get a drink because nothing was available—-Wish we would have opted for points that night. They did not allow us to carry over the points were able to use The credit for Friday’s stay towards our breakfast. Disappointed that they did not work with us on this since my husband is the highest level Hilton member.

It was beautiful and the staff was amazing! Every last one of them was pleasant and helpful.

My room was right by the metro so it got pretty loud. The parking was tough, I had people stop by the hotel and we had to park 2 blocks away and walk because the parking fee was just too high and we were only going to be there 45 minutes to change clothes. And it was kind of dangerous jumping in and out of Ubers and crossing the street. Also the mini bar didn’t have many nonalcoholic options.

It is beautiful, well designed. The room had good lighting, in both the bathroom (excellent makeup lighting which is really rare) and in the sleeping area. Storage is excellent: enough drawers, spacious closet and very important 2 bedside tables with drawers. So many hotels have one table and light so the other side has nothing. The drawer style safe is great - so easy to reach and use with enough room for electronics etc. The safe is in a drawer at about waist level, is big and has a lift up door. So easy, accessible and looks like it would be harder to breach than a small one on the floor or top shelf. All the staff is great from the desk to housekeeping to valets and wait staff in the restaurant. All were friendly, very responsive, offered assistance without being asked. Breakfast at the restaurant was great and our waiter, Balthazar, was just outstanding. Also, our corner room had fabulous views.

Our bed was not comfortable. It was way too soft and actually felt worn out. It didn’t seem to have the same quality as other Hiltons. No other complaints.

The Morrow is one of my favorite hotels in DC. I love the ambiance, the decor, and the cleanliness of the hotel.

Housekeeping when cleaning the room only left one wash cloth in the room after cleaning. This wasn’t realized until the evening time and when I went to the desk to ask if they could provide me with another cloth they said housekeeping was gone for the day and that they didn’t have access to another wash cloth. I was disappointed to hear that and hope that moving forward there will be a cart or something where staff after hours can provide customers with towels or whatever is needed.

I love this hotel, the location is great, the staff were nice and kind, and the room was perfect. I did my check-in with the Hilton app and selected the room that I wanted, on the opposite side of the rail tracks, so I didn't have any issue with the noise that many people mentioned in other comments.

Maybe more options to eat on the rooftop bar, but it is not even important. I have no complaints at all.

The hotel room as well as the facility itself was very clean and everything was in order upon arrival. We arrived ahead of our check in time and were able to secure a parking spot and leave our luggage with the front desk at the luggage claim until we were ready to check in to the room. The 24 hour help desk and other staff were very welcoming and helpful. Checkout was just as breezy as check in and the valet was excellent with punctual vehicle return and pickup.

I wish I had known about the security deposit prior to my check in, maybe a notification should be sent along with my booking confirmation information. Also, the mini bar had half of a tequila shooter leftover from another guest. However, there was easy and understanding assistance available from the 24 hour front desk in regards to the issue.
