The building was very clean and spacious for a family of 4. It is perfect for kids: they loved the playground, and the lovely animals. It is located outside the busy city center but close to many activities. We also loved the compfortable bed after à busy day. It was perfect.

Beautiful, clean, modern rooms that have been expertly designed with the best facilities. The hotel is perfectly located, close to many of the famous attractions in the city centre. We slept like babies on the most comfortable bed ever. The star attractions are the alpacas and a sheep on the backyard. We brought them some apples and they came to the fence for a pat and photo op. The view from the patio is stunning. The owner, Hong is a kind and thoughtful person and it is no surprise that they are expanding the facility. We will always stay here when we return and also recommend to others.

Our family of five had an amazing night here with the playground and animals keeping our two kids entertained and filled with joy. The rooms were both beautiful and spotless — truly perfect for our stay. We loved the view of the animals and playground, allowing us to easily keep an eye on our little ones while they played. The location was perfect, just a short distance from Skyride we wanted to visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, the staff were friendly and made our trip so enjoyable after a day full of adventures. Shout out to the owner and team for maintaining such a fantastic facility :)

Had the disabled unit because we are elderly and have associated problems. Absolutely brilliantly designed from the moment you step out of the car onto a gradual slope that takes you to the door. most convenient unit we've experienced for a long time. everything was sparkling clean and well designed. Enjoyed looking out of the ranch slider to the lovely well equipped children's playground and the paddock of alpacas was a pleasure. There is a noise curfew at 9.30pm which is appreciated by most. The location was excellent, out of the noise of the city and down a driveway so we felt we were away in a little world of our own. Very handy to Velocity Valley, the Agrodome etc and the rail cruise at Ngongataha. the motel is close enough to the city centre to go out for dinner easily.

Only thing I would change/add is another light switch to the bed head. Currently there is one on the right side which my husband operated and I if I wasn't ready to sleep, would have to either walk around the bed to turn it off then return in the dark to my side or wake him up. Two light switches would be fabulous. That said, I loved the strip light in the bedhead!

2x Deluxe King Rooms were amazing, Modern spacious, Had everything you needed, warm and comfortable. 2x Standard Family Rooms were not as modern but has everything you need for a family clean and comfortable, Double glazed windows so you can’t hear the traffic at all.

2x Standard Family Rooms we were in room 5 there was a constant buzzing sound throughout the day & night to look outside and see some room attached so whatever was in there it was that but during the day it’s drowned out and once you fall asleep you don’t hear it much.

Great location. A real treat that neighbouring field has alpacas that were fun to watch. Lovely clean rooms with good facilities. Friendly staff. Nice sunny terrace spot to enjoy the outdoors. Short drive to lots of tourism spots but also a good distance from the bustle of town (and less smelly)

The beds were very firm so ended up asking for extra pillows to be able to lie on them to get some sleep. The staff were quick to help with this, and some people may enjoy the harder sleeping surface. The limited office hours - often there wasn't anyone there despite it saying that reception was open. It is worth noting that there is currently construction happening on property next door, so view is not the prettiest but the workers are considerate and don't start too early - rooms also have some sound proofing which helps

The location was perfect for us, just down the road from Mitai Maori Village, where we spent one of our evenings. The room was excellent with everything we needed to cater for ourselves, and a comfortable bed. The resident animals were a nice addition. Convenient parking outside the room.

The lightbulb in the bathroom is quite dim. The only way to get sufficient light outside of daytime hours was to also switch on the heat lamp, which isn't ideal. The TV wasn't working properly, meaning we couldn't use any smart features. It seemed to be an issue with disk space which will need looking into.

Rooms were modern and clean- even better than the photos. View was lovely from the lounge- looking out to paddocks, giving a sense of space. You are out of town (only by 5 mins) so it’s quiet and peaceful.

Children’s playground a little bit “DIY”, room servicing a bit hit and miss- beds not made up 2 days , floor not vacuumed (we abided by the rules of nothing on floor or nothing foreign in beds or no cleaning would be done). Lacked utensils for basic cooking.

Their new appartments are just wonderful. Modern, comfortable, stylish and have everything you need. Peaceful and away from the road. We arrived very late and their check in was seamless. Their showers are incredible and beds very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The older units are ok but the first few (1, 2 and 3) are just too close to the roads if you're a light sleeper. The new units towards the back with their own patio are wonderful. We were upgraded and really thankful as we got a fantastic sleep thanks to the kind owner.

One of our fave in our hotel during our NZ trip. We got new renovated room. And we love it! Kids were entertainted with the alpacas in the morning 😄. So cute! Also their happy with the bath tub. Hotel also have basic thing that we need, kitchen, room, bathroom. Location is a lil bit outside from the centre, but reachable within 10 mins with car. Groceries also close to the hotel.
