First time we have used the Bob W group and we were impressed with the apartment location, layout and staff. We travel extensively for at least one three month overseas trip each year to UK/Europe and will definitely look to see if this group has apartments where we are going to. The apartment was light and airy with comfortable beds and furniture in a lovely, character building. Kitchen was well stocked, with coffee machines and plenty of utensils. To the side of the building was a great cafe and restaurant, which was popular with locals and had some wonderful food - they are open for breakfast and lunch. Lots of restaurants within 10 minute walk and tram stop 10 metres away. Great shower and water pressure and washing machine/dryer in apartment was a bonus in our seven night stay. All staff great, particularly Daisy on reception. Nothing was too much trouble for her. You don't get keys, but door codes and this worked well and was great with two of us as we could do things on our own. Apartment was in old town and we were very close to the major sites. We had a large supermarket three blocks away for food shopping. Management on our first day emailed us to make sure we were happy with everything and did this a couple of times in our stay - they genuinely are interested in how you are going. It wasn't intrusive, but was just another added personal touch to their service. And Bob W stands for the best of both worlds.

Could not fault anything.

The apartment was amazing and the private sauna was well worth doing. The apartment is very spacious and has everything that you need and more. There are lots of little thoughtful additions that were very lovely. The location was great and we found interesting things in all directions, all within walking distance. From the moment we arrived we felt a warm helpful and upbeat vibe from the staff; although there isn't a reception, if you run into the staff as you enter or during your stay, you're bound to have a pleasant encounter. "Bob" was always available for us via WhatsApp chat whenever we needed anything. We're looking forward to collecting more of the Bob location tote bags (they give you one free), by staying at other Bob's when we're travelling in the future. ❤

Only that our holiday there had to end at some point. Otherwise everything was great! :)

Exceptionally clean, very well equipped.

The lack of a proper reception is a nuisance. My stay generated 18 emails. They have been quite slow in replying to mails, which made it necessary to then also call, which was usually faster. Time lost for the guest, money gained for the management.

We loved our stay at Bob W. Koti Ullanlinna in Helsinki. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a large bed facing windows looking out on a courtyard, 2 large closets, a full kitchen with a large refrigerator and small freezer, and a large bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. They also provided charging cords, yoga mats, hairdryer, water bottles, and a free gym to use. The location was ideal. It was next door to a restaurant-bakery, a block from a beautiful church, a couple of blocks from a grocery store and easy walking distance to the Esplanadi and everything else in Helsinki. Communication was outstanding. We got detailed instructions on entering our room after hours and follow-up messages. As soon as I mentioned that one window wasn't closing, the concierge, who is on site from 9-5, appeared at our door and fixed it. We highly recommend Bob W. and will look for them in the future!

Everything was perfect!

We stayed in the two-level apartment in Ulanlinna. The apartment had a clean stylish luxurious feel. Location superb. Bed extra comfy and silky. Incredible bath in the bedroom. Lots of storage spaces. Keyless access. We enjoyed staying here for multiple nights in a row and will definitely return and recommend to all our friends. Thank you very much for this beautiful staycation.

No one’s perfect, so washing machine was getting stuck every time, and we would prefer to clean ourselves daily by there was no equipment for that. We would love to have a vacuum or a dustpan. Otherwise excellent facilities.

Location is great - easy tram (10) to/from metro and train, walkable to Port and great bakery/coffee (Levain) just outside the building. Cleanliness even better than great. Easy departure, simple instructions, bed comfortable, washing machine that dries and kitchenette basics. Luggage room was important - allowing us to explore the area before check-in. No fragrances or smells to offend.

The room was on the warm side (we didn't master the themostat) in October while cold outdoors and there is an on/off for the washing machine water on the faucet that took a few minutes to locate. The washing machine is fairly small and not fast - allow 4 hours to wash and dry one load. Luggage room is secured, but one locker among others - a combination lock for that locker would have eased our mind. Door code didn't initially work but a push on the button and short conversation and all was good.

It was very spacious and enabled my daughter and myself to sleep in separate spaces. The shower room was good and it was nice to have access to a washing machine. Great location for anyone interested in Finnish design - right next to the design and architecture museums. The cafe/restaurant on the corner downstairs did a great selection for breakfast.

The TV was great but one of the remote controls was missing so we couldn't adjust the sound. BobW helped. They were responsive. The apartment is very spacious and clean but not cosy.

The apartment was very well equipped, large, clean and quiet. We had no problems with self-catering and there is a well-stocked grocery store nearby. But there are also nice restaurants in the area. The area itself felt safe (and quite affluent). Public transport is excellent with a passing tram but you can also walk into the city center.

Nothing major but the bed sheets were not very comfortable, the Bob W sign on the outer door was hard to find the first time and the low energy lighting in the entrance to the hotel and in the corridors together with the dark wall color made the way to the room quite gloomy. Even for a Scandinavian, the design of the room was a bit sterile with all white everywhere.

It was amazing. The location is perfect, the room was exactly what we needed and the fact that there was limited staff interactions was perfect for us as we’re not very social. When we did have face to face interactions with staff, they were lovely and went above and beyond for us. We loved the freedom of getting to cook for ourselves. We don’t live together yet in our home country so for us this was the best get away, we could be ourselves and also not have to worry about disturbing anyone in the area.

It was absolutely perfect!

Location was perfect for us, also BoB W online guest area was superb, everything in one place with eye-pleasing design. Eye candy all the way through, from first emails to leaving the property, which was the first time we met a staff member. Brilliant service design! Restaurant Levant downstairs was brilliant for breakfast, will come for eggs benedict again!

The only thing, we missed a little were bathrobes or some cool lounge wear. We were on a mid-week staycation straight from work, so something else than towels in the relatively cool (both temperature and design) room would have a nice bonus.
