The property is fully refurbished. Although the building is old, it looked like a brand new hotel. Very impressive atmosphere and facilities. Did not expect this level of service. Truly 5 stars resort , excellent for a family getaway.

I went in the summer and it was very hot, however, this is the case everywhere in the UA. It’s a bit outside the city, so if you are coming from outside the UAE, I would not recommend this place as there are closer options to the city with better transportation options, but it would make a perfect staycation for people resident in the UAE.

All. But we were there for the 4th time, but we will go back again. Everyone is very nice. We arrived at the hotel at night, the last day our plane departured even later, they allowed us to stay an extra 5 hours in the room. ❤️ Our little boy was also able to sleep in this way before the long journey. The food was also excellent. Dinner is varied and delicious. Especially the Indian food was very authentic and delicious. Part of see was suitable for bathing, it was nicely cleaned. The res of area is a fenced ecological section. That was great. And finally the garden and the peacocks were wonderfull.

Beautiful hotel. Lots of palm trees and so many beautiful peacocks. We had room number 497 with a garden view but we could also see the sea from the balcony. The bed is really big and comfortable. I had a problem with the noise the peacocks made every morning. So if you are a light sleeper, think twice! They are really noisy!! The room was close to the TAMAR pool and the lobby so I can say it was a good location. The room was always clean with fresh towels every day. They have ELEMIS in the bathroom which is a good brand. The only problem I had was that they had big bottles (shampoo/conditioner/shower gel) fixed on the wall in the shower but nothing above the bathtub. The hotel should think about families with children. They want to be in the bathtub, not standing in the shower. The TAMAR pool is great. My kid loves it the most. You will only see people staying at the Palm tree hotel there. Other people are not allowed. But you can visit any of the pools around. Be aware that you can't use an inflatable in the pool. Only small one for little kids who can't swim by themself. The classic size that you can lie on is not allowed. But I saw people using an inflatable with a net and that was fine ??? I was also surprised that you can drink in the pool, and that's disgusting to me. You just order a drink at the pool bar and then go to the pool with your drink. I didn't like it. (The drinks are nice by the way) The food at every restaurant is fantastic!!! The beach is very nice!! Good for kids because it's shallow at the beginning. Swimming with the horse was a fantastic experience! They also have beautiful and well-behaved horses in the stables. There is nothing to do in the evening after 9pm. Nothing except drinking. So quiet around ! Dubai mall is 1 hr away by shuttle bus. Last one is going there at 4pm and going back to the hotel at 8:30pm. My kid really loves this hotel and she wants to come back.!

Peacocks noise every morning starting at 5am... Drinking in a pool. Inflatable ( classic size that you can lie on ) not allowed in the pool. - ( we stayed in May ) Quiet in the evening after 9pm. Otherwise a very nice, huge resort with lots of activities during the day! ( water sports, gym, mini golf, splash park, tennis, badminton, horses and much much more... ) Very nice and polite staff. Clean, green resort far away from city. Apart from a few things (which might be silly to someone) we really enjoyed our holiday there. xxx Thank you xxx

We stayed in Palm tree court which has more of an apartment feel than a hotel but this worked for us well. We had access to the Tamr pool area which was lovely and we thought it was the best out of the pools near us. The staff were all attentive, pleasant and really helpful. The location is between Dubai and Abu Dabi

The food and drink prices were way too expesnive which meant that we left the resort to each most nights. The resort is also quite remote so best to hire a car if you would like to explore while you are in the country.

Beautifully laid out, brilliant facilities. We stayed in the Palm Tree Court area which spacious and relaxing although with plenty of great facilities. With a nice relaxed beach vibe.

We liked everything, it was a good 30 minute cab ride from the Jumeirah if you wanted to to visit there although we didn’t, we were happy to stay in the wonderful surroundings.

We appreciated literally everything. * Very attentive and friendly staff. * Perfectly maintained territory. * Lots of qualitative restaurants and beach bars. * The "Palm Tree Court" section is just the best: a dedicated area, pool, abundant availability of sunbeds at any time of the day, a large private beach with very few people. This is definitely the part of the resort where we would love to return. Mind that the prices at the restaurants are high. Taking half-board or all-inclusive really makes sense. Beautiful peacocks wandering around are a cherry on the top of the cake that will make the place even more memorable.

We loved everything about the resort, staying in the beachfront rooms made it feel very special. We stayed in one of the Residence suites so we were lucky to have the Butler service available to us and access to the Signature Lounge. We were only at the resort for 5 nights so having someone help us with restaurant bookings and having the buggies available to get around the resort, really helped us make the most of the short time we had. Communication was very good, we received a WhatsApp message the day before we arrived confirming they were expecting us. Before our stay we emailed about airport transfers and they were very responsive. The Signature lounge was a really useful resource, we had breakfast there and high tea, and made use of happy hour. There is also a pool area that only the Residence suites have access to, so we didn't have to get there early to guarantee a sun lounger. Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. Wi-Fi was available throughout the resort and followed you across the resort so you didn't have to keep reconnecting. The peacocks were lovely and we didn't hear any sound from them at night (and not much during the day either).

We decided not to go all-inclusive as we couldn't justify the difference in price. This meant we noticed how expensive it was to eat in the restaurants. Especially the 81 buffet restaurant - we just went for the hot buffet which kept the cost to a reasonable amount but if you went for the full hot and cold buffet it more than doubled the cost. Of the four days we stayed we only needed evening meal on two of those days (the other two days were spent on trips), if we had eaten at the resort every night, and we hadn't had access to the lounge, the all-inclusive cost would probably be justified.

This place has exactly the atmosphere I love, it feels like a cozy resort, not a huge hotel where you need to dress up just to get to the pool. I personally don’t like those big buildings where it feels like a formal event every time you step outside your room. Here, it’s completely different. My room was on the ground floor, so I could literally step outside barefoot, put on a pareo, and walk straight to the pool or the beach-no stress, no fuss. It’s so relaxing and convenient! The service is great, around the pool you can order drinks or food, the staff are very supportive and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were smooth, the reception team was friendly and helpful. Overall, everything was comfortable, easy, and with a very nice vibe. I will definitely come back!

Everything here is just wonderful. Right from the staff at reservation desk, she was really helpful in explaining the details to us about this huge property of JA resorts. All our requests were accomodated well. The golf cart staffs were also friendly, talking to us and giving us a glimpse of this huge property taking us for a tour around. There are so many pools, play area, splash park, Tamr pool we enjoyed alot, there is a zoo for kids to visit. Best is Palm tree court experience is the best, nature/ forest living…never imagined there is a property like this spread in 1 M acre of land in Dubai. I am short of words to sum up my experience. So many small waterfalls, peacocks, birds..in awe of this place and surely going back. Worth the money. Thanks to all the staff for taking care of the guests so very well 🫶🏼❤️

Nothing to not like about this places.

the people working there were very kind, very good food. the food at the Indian was absolutely amazing. met lots of nice people. large and nice rooms. the spa was also very good. The children loved kid Club. was also in the stables, which was great fun for the children. both children got to ride and had a lot of fun with it.

what drags it down are all the homeless cats that are there. wish they had a plan to take responsibility for these cats. feed them, sterilize them and make sure they are comfortable. Have traveled quite a bit in Dubai year after year, but can now see that they have not addressed the cat problem. So many cats it was all over the place now. not only in the hotel but also in the city centre. I hope the hotel agrees to be an animal-friendly hotel. help the cats and not just remove them to other places where they cannot defend themselves
