Location was great, everything was within waking distance (within 5-15 minutes).. price was reasonable considering the location. Tucked away from the noise but not difficult to find. Rooms were spacious, somewhat comfortable, clean and had plenty of lighting. Breakfast was also satisfactory (it was included in the room tariff).

Nothing to put you off from staying but a few things to note.. Water pipe going through the room (room 260) which made noise at night whenever someone flushed or used the tap/shower (in another room, guessing the one above)? Toilet bowl was not stuck to the ground so was moving when sat on.. Shower was decent but cubicle could prove to be a problem for larger people. No cupboards in room (could be an issue if staying more than a couple of nights). Waterproof mattress protector makes noise when sleeping on (it's made of plastic!) so like sleeping on a plastic bag..

Made a last-minute booking as a matter of urgency since I was stuck in Lille for the night (spent the day in Paris then missed my train so booked a new one to Lille to be followed by a carpool home from Lille, which was then cancelled) - the man at reception greeted me at 11pm and was very helpful explaining how the lights work (you have to put your keycard in a slot) and lending me a charger for my phone. The (single) bed was very comfortable, there was a small desk and TV, as well as a reading light above the bed. The bathroom was very clean and in fact nicer than my bathroom at home. The room was ideal for me and my dad for the weekend. Twin room was a good size to easily move around. The location was VERY central and we could walk to anywhere from our location. The room was tidy and clean and the beds were remade each day.

The smaller bed I was on wasn't the most comfy, 6/10 comfort. The temperature in the room was very warm (it was a warm weekend, highs of 30degrees in the day) but there was air conditioning that came on automatically at a certain temperature. Sadly there was no way to adjust this so it was a little too hot for me which made sleeping uncomfortable

Nice room with a view over the rooftops and very big window. Very clean. Staff exceptionally helpful and did not stop me trying to speak French. Breakfast very good value and nice variety of food. Great location. Aircon available though I prefer not to use it.

I couldn't figure out the lights in the room the first night or the internet and was too tired to ask. Not very soundproof though this wasn't really a problem.

Staff and cleanliness good. Location great. Right in the middle of town in a pedestrianised area. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and I was able to walk to Lille-Flandres rail station in about five minutes the next morning.

Single room very small. Couldn't fully open the bathroom door as it was blocked by the bed. There was a fairly loud hum, presumably from the heating system. I could not hear any noise from other rooms but could hear people walking past in the corridor and doors being opened/closed.

The staff members were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I arrived on a very hot day and I wanted to buy a bottle of water from the bar, but the lady at the reception was extremely kind and said I could have it for free. It may seem like a small thing, but I appreciated it a lot. Location is very central, which makes value for money even better. The room was comfortable and with air conditioning.

The hotel was central to our places of visit. It was a clean, friendly hotel. Great WiFi, water pressure was brilliant. Beds were comfortable.

The room was small so with heating and hot air-conditioning the room was too hot. We told reception and they were able to switch heating off in our room. One of our light bulbs went, we told reception, but it wasn't fixed before we left. We took our own kettle with us but would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.

The staff is amazing and super inviting, responsive, hospitable and friendly. I was let in and assisted even though I got in super late-- around 2 AM. I. am so grateful!! The hotel staff is the highlight of my stay. The bed was super comfortable! The location is also central and perfect for a girl traveling by herself.

The room is a bit smaller than I expected from the pictures, but alright for one person--- no complaints.

Great location, really clean. Lots of restaurants and shops outside. Very quiet considering the location is right in the centre.

We couldn't park as we had a camper van, and it was too tall to go into the car park (a short walk away). But we parked on the street in a paid for space and was ok, but was quite a walk - this was fine as we were able to walk but if you have mobility issues it was quite a way!

Air conditioning worked well , room clean , male staff member on front desk very friendly and welcoming

Breakfast selection and choices not great , no kettle in room , entrance to hotel a little odd and could do with improvement , doors to rooms noisy when entered or exited and echoed up lino floors.
