Great Location , just a few steps away from the main street of Interlaken . Reception staff were friendly, very helpful and accommodating. Room was large and exceptionally clean, balcony view was amazing, to the paragliding park in the center of Interlaken. The bathroom was large too and very convenient Breakfast was good, but needs more food variety and fresh vegetables & fruits. Special thanks go to: Reception staff: Saleem, Alina & Andrea Restaurant staff: Alexandra & Lydia For always helping us, making our stay beautiful and memorable.
The room rate was a bit high.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around. Although there is no air conditioning, there are several windows allowing good airflow, making it quite cool.
The restaurant staff weren't friendly. The toaster was malfunctioning, so the toast wouldn't drop down. When I told an employee 'I cannot find it' (about the toast), she actually found it funny and kept laughing – I felt quite offended. Moreover, during breakfast the next day, my travel companion was too exhausted to make it to the restaurant before the service ended. When I saw this same employee pack breakfast for another customer, I asked if she could pack a piece of bread for my friend too, but she refused and said it wasn't allowed. I feel she was racially discriminatory.

My daughter and I had a pleasant stay at this property, perfectly located just a few minutes walk from Interlaken Ost railway station and the Main Street. The hotel staff greeted us warmly and were friendly throughout. Our room was clean, though a bit small and without AC, it felt warm. There was a fan in the room and the staff kindly provided an extra one when we asked. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the courteous staff went out of their way to make fried eggs for me since I’m lactose intolerant and couldn’t have the scrambled eggs. Overall, it was a great experience. I’d suggest booking a room with a balcony for the beautiful views, which we unfortunately missed out on. Lot of good restaurants are a walk away from the property.

The staff are friendly and approachable. We loved that breakfast is included and my baby girl love the baby child that came with a cushion. She also love the aunty that helped to carry her onto the baby chair. Really a great hotel with lovely staff that work from their heart. They really made our day by putting in the effort to make the bed for my baby with her toys and books. Some provide bubbles for my baby to play with and some gave her cookies. We had to leave our luggages with them before we can checked in and when we checked in, our luggage’s are already put in our room. The power points provided are also quite updated where we can charge our mobile with usb and type c wires directly at the desk area. The kettle is also very clean for us to boil water to make milk for our baby. The hotel may look old on the outside but the interior of the room is really nice and spacious. They even have a baby room at their lobby so that we can change diaper before we can checked it. The paragliding company is also just opposite the hotel and the landing point is also just outside the hotel which is so convenient for parents like us who take turns to do paragliding and looking after the baby.
The summer can be really stuffy and hot and because the room is well insulated for winter, it’s really uncomfortable to sleep at night even though 2 fans are provided in the room. As the room is quite big for 3 persons, 2 fans might not be enough. I would suggest them to have another one in the room or install ceiling fan in the future.

This charming hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Interlaken, just an easy 8-minute walk from Interlaken OST station. The hotel has a modern and clean design, and we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff—check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. The room was surprisingly spacious for a standard European size, and beautifully furnished—definitely our favourite hotel room during our Switzerland trip. Breakfast was quite good, though not the best we had on our journey.
The only feedback I would give is that the carpets on the first floor have a slightly damp or old smell—it might be worth considering replacing them as there’s a noticeable scent when you enter. Also, having some bottled water available in the fridge would be a thoughtful touch for guests, especially since the rooms can get quite warm during the summer. Hope this helps! :)

We liked the roomy bedroom space. Wished there was airconditioning; fortunately, you supplied us with fans. Breakfast was also good. Most importantly, the location was perfect. We practically walked from the rail station to the hotel, from hotel to Harder Kulm's location, to Grandhotel Victoria, and to many dining places. Otherwise, you can take the bus (the hotel provided us with them). Hotel Du Nord is right beside Hotel Interlaken which has a good restaurant.
The washroom was a bit smaller than expected. Also, while being fussy, can you ban women who walk around the breakfast area in their pajamas? The hotel is a public place, not our home! It is just plain rude and lack of manners! (Hopefully, they read my comments here.)

Our corner room was beautiful and very comfortable! Coffee was the best I have ever had!
Hot dishes selection during breakfast were exactly the same for our 8 days stay! Every single day it was the same offering of beans, cuscus, steamed tomatoes, scrambled eggs that resembled cauliflower rice, raw bacon and sausages. On the positive side, even though the cold dishes were also exactly the same every day, they were bountiful. The bread selection was good too. In my opinion, there should be a rotation of different offerings for guests that stay longer. Also guests are not allowed to take coffee or food outside the breakfast room.

Large room, comfortable bed, beautiful view over the park, opening windows, kettle and bar fridge, robes and enormous bathroom. The room was quiet from the outside noise. Breakfast was good and we were provided with a breakfast pack to take on our early departure.
The room was always too warm. There was no wifi in our room for the first 24 hours (had to make 2 requests to get this sorted) There wasn’t any body wash or soap in the shower. Not much storage space in the enormous bathroom. They didn’t provide a dairy alternative milk for breakfast. Noise from the hallway and clomping from the above floor.

Excellent hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. The reception stuff was very helpful.
Limited breakfast, no change at all from one day to another. The quantities of products in the dining room are also small. There was a young Latin girl in the dining room who was not so pleasant and every few minuts approached us and then asked: "Finish? Take plates?" We had the feeling that they just wanted us to eat quickly and leave the dining room. Also one day we arrived and there were a lot of food shortages. No refill was made and we had to make it with what was left.
