Sartori Concept hotel it’s by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever stay even for few days! Amazedly modern, clean and carefully selected decor with all the amenities available in the room. The communication between the owner was excellent and we get all the necessary information we needed for our stay! The hotel its located very closed to the center 5 mins walk and perfect location without noises or close to a busy roads. The building has the local traditional architecture mixed with modern touches!! We had our breakfast at Papi Osteria cafe with various of local delicious tastes !!! Super happy with everything!! Perfect for couples or short business trips. We had an amazing stay at Heraklion! Definitely recommended!

Perfect stay! This is where we first landed to begin a 3 week road trip around Crete. The unit is clean, bright, and elegant. We enjoyed all of the amenities and our hosts thoughtful touches. The neighborhood is rustic and there are a few abandoned homes in the neighborhood, but that is consistent with every village on the island, and not any cause for concern. Our cab driver had no issues locating the property. The location is amazing for walking to all the major attractions, venues and shopping/dining areas within the city walls. We even walked to the port to pick up our rental car. The breakfast vouchers were easily redeemed at the chic boutique hotel restaurant one block away.

We have stayed there in two rooms and both were really pretty and comfortable (good beds, nice rain showers). The breakfast in the nearby Papi Cafe was amazing. We did a one week bike Trip through Crete and the owners were really helpful and organized a place where we could store our bags and another one where we could wash our bikes after the trip ❤️ Also the central Location in heraklion with good Access to the Bus Station to the Airport (15min) was Great. I dont think the small street in front of the Hotel is ugly as other reviewers say. I think it gives you the feeling of living in Heraklion:)

Sartori Concept Hotel is Crete’s gem! Located in the city center of Heraklion, walking distance from the archeological museum and next to cafes restaurants and bars. The cool part is the indoor yard which gives a relaxing vibe, ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee. Decorated with ceramic pots with beautiful flowers. Peaceful and quiet room with luxurious furniture and artistic twist. I always appreciate a good wifi connection and a good breakfast option.

The hotel’s design is probably one of the best ever seen (and I do travel a lot). It’s a renewed palace so it really is modern, clean and with a super smart check in (I usually like checking in in person, however the experience with Sartori was super smooth). Breakfast too was amazing and quite big (maybe too big!!). I absolutely recommend it if you want to explore Heraklion!

We can confirm the many positive comments and that there is a real great concept behond this beautiful place that shows what potential might be in some other of the abandoned houses nearby. Once you are theough the main door and enter the reception you are really in a place that shows how boutique accommodation with really good value for money could look like in 2024. We enjoyed our carefully decorated room on the first floor with a real good bed and the modern bathroom with a real good shower. It's a real good place also for some siesta during the midday heat when exhausted from exploring the city in the morning or having to do some work on a laptop... The communication with the owner was smooth also via Whatsapp. We got some god recomendation regarding parking which is a tricky thing in Heraklion. Consider to arrive by taxi or bus and hire a rental car after or before your stay so you don't have to worry about parking. Next time round in Heraklion we'll defintely check if there are vacancies at the Sartori and would happy to check in again.

The proximity of the hotel to the city center was a big plus. We could walk to the city center in 5 min. The hotel is well designed and furnished. The hotel manager was very helpful and attended to every request we had. He even gave us valuable tips for our day trips and parking in heraklion. Breakfast was really good and in a nearby Cafe. Really well organized place right next to the old venetian walls. The footpath behind the hotel on the venetian wall is highly recommended.

The door to the bathroom is thin and partly transparent. It didn't allow us to turn bathroom light on while one of us were sleeping since we are light sensitive.

What a wonderful place to discover the city of Heraklion! A gem of a house on the border of the old town, leaning on the city wall. The house was sensitively restored recently and consists of four rooms only. The rooms are well equipped, the bathroom is comparatively large, the beds very comfortable. Last not least host Miros - he is the architect that restored the house - is very hospitable and helpful. Don’t miss to ask him for suggestions where to dine, his tips were excellent. Thank you for having us, Miros, we are looking forward to come back and to have one more sundowner in the nice courtyard of Sartori one day!

Very new place, I liked the different lighting in our room. Very comfortable bed and the breakfast in the coffee nearby was delicious. We didn't see the owner, but the instructions provided were super clear and friendly. It's super easy to get there from the airport by public bus (as quick as a taxi, but 2 eur instead of 10-20)

It's a tiny detail, but the shower was very small, and nothing separating it from the toilets (no curtain or glass door) meant it was easy to spread water everywhere but it dried quickly thanks to the towel and how warm it was.

The apartment was very clean and host was super friendly. Also, location is near city center, so you can visit everything around by walk. I would definetly recommend this apartment.
