Check in was great - the member of staff who saw us in was really friendly and welcoming and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, there was everything we could need (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, ample towels, hair & body wash etc.). There was loads of parking. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Aberfeldy close to all the local amenities. It was really good value for the area and time of year.
The windows face out to the road and are across from a bustling pub. It was a warm summer Friday evening so folk were out enjoying their evening which meant some noise drifted to our room. Absolutely not a complaint, just good for people to know you are in a (small) town which comes with the associated pluses and minuses.

Upon arrival a lovely big black dog Oden greeted me at the front desk, what a delightful surprise. The lady who checked me in was very helpful and friendly. My room was upgraded to a double room as the upstairs was being renovated. The place is in an old building and many would say it's dated inside. I didn't mind it at all, especially for the price and location. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless. The heater was turned on for me prior to my arrival which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable with no saggy mattress which was ideal. There's a whole row of shops, takeaways and a co-op just 2mins walk away. Free parking at rear. There was a fridge and microwave in the lounge but i did not utilise those. This place is not for fussy people or those expecting anything fancy, I thought it had everything you need. I would definitely stay again. Good location, very clean, lovely staff.
My room had a faint smell of cigarettes. Another blanket would have been nice, as I stayed in the height of winter. Water pressure was a bit weak for my thick hair.

The staff called in advance and asked when we would arrive and warned us how to get to the hotel, since the central entrance closes in the evening. Despite the fact that the reception is open until 19:00 upon check-in, we arrived at about 21:00, having called by phone, an employee was quickly found who checked us into the rooms. Excellent location, in a quiet, cozy town. Super place and hotel.

Even though there were no meals involved in the accommodation, there were facilities to eat a take-away meal, which included plates and cutlery. There was a fridge for all their clients to use for personal use. The staff were incredibly friendly, and went over and beyond to give us any information we needed to facilitate a wonderful stay. They gave us so much information of places of interest to visit as well. So much so, that we booked an extra night's stay. Big thankyou to the staff of Breadalbane Hotel
Nothing. Our expectations and needs were fully met, due to their friendliness, and information from them

Cheap for the area and functional. We were not expecting 4*, and our stay was exactly as described - a simple en suite room for 1 night. We're used to the limitations of old buildings and had read the description and reviews. It was fine. We were lucky there were no noisy residents or street noise, the night we were there and it wasn't particularly hot or cold so no issues at all
The TV and Freeview box cabling was a bit of a mess with dodgy connections

The Breadalbane may be a two star hotel, but the staff service was five star! Helpful, kind, generous of spirit. Upon checking in, Natasha showed me the local healthy grocers, Zo-Ann arranged for me to go riding and arranged taxis for my multiple trips. I was even greeted on the street by staff on their time off. , The cherry on the cake: I was asked if I needed help with my formal outfit after an evening outing. The owner is wonderful and encourages his staff to go the extra mile. Ivan carried my heavy luggage up two flights of stairs as well as back down upon leaving. His wife, Natalie made sure I had the right towels and blankets. The taxi driver Davey arrived early and loaded my bags. Zoe-Ann made certain I had a ride to the train station the night before. This was my first time staying at a two star hotel. Do not be afraid. It is clean. The atmosphere is kind and helpful. Yes, it is a plain room- bed, bath, wifi, and tea kettle, but the service outweighs the lack of decor. The location is super. Everything is close by for walking within the village. If you are going to other villages, you will need transportation. My stay was made all the better with such amazing people as the staff at the Breadalbane.
Instructions on a placard that reads: "Remember to tip your staff upon checking out. We can add it to your bill."

Nice to be on the ground floor - usually solo travellers are put up in small rooms on top floors. Good parking. Easy after hours access. Plenty of food options nearby. Close to centre of town. Nice large chair.
Noisy bar/ pub opposite on Saturday night - hard to avoid though, Tiny 'table' - by the time it had kettle and a computer on it, there was no room for anything else.

Bed was extremely comfy, staff were awesome, Odin the dog was a good boy! 😃
Hot water took ages to come through... but that is not a problem that can easily be solved (I used to work in a hotel with the same issue!), and it came properly hot in the end. The car park was limited in size, but I was able to park up the road. Neither of these points was a big issue.

Very reasonable price , clean and tidy , friendly staff. Easy book in and check out.
I stopped at local facilities for juice and the place was criticised. However I'm not sure why as it was very clean and comfortable. Also my window was open (it was really warm outside) and there was no noisy neighbours or disturbance. I have however reported the other places for their negative response to local businesses

Closeness to amenities. Bathroom was small but adequate with a huge bath which my wife could just about swim in.
Rooms were draughty at the Windows but the building is okay with no double glazing so that was to be expected.Beds were a bit uncomfortable but we still managed a good sleep. In our room (room 6) if you are tall then watch your head in the doors and ceiling.
