When I arrived I was made very welcome and the entrance and hallway was immaculate and pristine clean. My room was very clean with lovely soft clean towels, spotlessly clean bathroom and shower. The bed I have to say was the most comfortable bed I have slept in in any B&B. I have to say both hosts Kerry and Ian were so helpful they went above and beyond, Ian used his car to show me where the company was that I was visiting in the morning. Ian is so helpful and it's very much appreciated. I will definitely stay at the Douglas again in the future.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about at all.

The room was a good size for walk around in Staff were very friendly and extra helpful guy offered the run me in his van to the shops as I was walking around everywhere to get to places shower was roasting every morning.

I didn’t like the bathroom had no heating floor was freezing No guest lounge to certain the room was back enough to a sofa in to make it a bit comfortable the whole time you were and you were sitting on your bed not many places around all over a 15 minute walk away

I really liked the hotel. I felt like I was in my own home. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were at a high level. The train station and bus stop are located close to the hotel. The lady named Soni is very helpful, kind, she helped me a lot and thanks to her I didn't have any difficulties or problems during the 5 days I was there. There was no problem with the WIFI connection either.

I liked that the rooms were big and spacious, a good en-suite. Generally quite clean, and seemed pretty secure.

There is no secure parking, it’s on the street outside, worrying if you are renting a car. Aeroplanes take off / land within earshot of my room, could hear a plane roaring away every 15 mins, not too bad when the window is closed but enough for me to be a little miffed.

Had called to ask if we could check in earlier and were told that we could check in at 2pm instead of 3pm. When we got there we were told that we would have to pay £25 to check in one hour early!!! Wasn't pleased to hear that

The other positive review are accurate. Really uncomplicated, easy going place. Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening and left the next morning. The bed was brilliant, had a very good sleep after a long journey. The shower had extremely good water pressure! Not a tourist area, the Titan Crane is in a walking distance, for those who are interested.

The hotel was ideally located for the three day course I was attending. Nothing flashy, a massive sized clean room with a great shower, clean towels every day and bed made every day. Perfect for what I needed. I had the Ewan Mcgreggor suite room 10, massive,, apparently the hotel was in train spotting 2.

Breakfasts not provided. Convenient on street parking. Car essential to access places to eat and poor public transport availability.

Although the interior is comfortable and inviting, the exterior of the property is grim! More akin to a derelict building, but could be improved radically with a lick of paint and some render. Very quiet location except for aircraft noise. Immediately below flight path close to Glasgow airport, with flights starting at 6am.

Pleasant staff, secure building (key entry only). Room was clean. Nice complimentary toiletries. Quiet area.

Only thing that could be better would be some frosting on the window. Had to keep curtain closed as the residential properties opposite could see straight into the room.

Owner was amazing, very kind and helpful. Room was also very spacious, with nice additions like tea and biscuits. Shower was also very responsive.

Bathroom was a bit cold, and you could hear people at the bar chatting late into the night. Area is also a bit sketchy.
