Away from the tourist area, so quiet and relaxed, BUT at the top of a hill, so a hard walk at the end of the day. However, it was ok once we'd worked out the busses and Metro. I think it would be very helpful if the hotel provided their guests with information on local bus and Metro stops and also some advice on buying Avanti travel cards from the machines. Everything is in Portuguese and many of the stations are unmanned, so it's quite a challenge making the right guesses as to which buttons to press!!!

Had a minor issue with the garden bar staff who were nowhere to be found when we wanted to pay the bill. Also one issue with cleaners when our room was missed until we came home in the afternoon and complained.

Very nice staff, good location (the river is 30 minutes walk). Very clean, spacious room (405) with a big terrace. The breakfast was excellent. My husband got a very nice birthday cake as a surprice, which was an absolutely lovely gesture from the staff☺️

Exceptionally clean, good quality food, rich breakfast, but most of all amazing staff, very helpful, welcoming and truly going the extra mile to make the guests feel comfortable.

Just about everything: breakfast excellent; restaurant and bar both great (and restaurant was very good value, food beautifully presented); staff very helpful and pleasant - especially Luisa Gaio in the restaurant and the head barman (whose name I missed). Room was quiet and bed very comfortable. Nice to have a fridge. Bathroom

Immediate surroundings not that special although quite close to metro stations. Some instant coffee and milk with it in the room would have been nice. But these were minor issues compared to the all the good things

The staff is just wonderful. They are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good with many warm options and was vegetarian friendly. I had dinner there one day as it was a bit late and the food was surprisingly good. I enjoyed having a huge balcony with a great view of the city.

The decor is.... it is a taste :D it is not my taste at all but that is a minor issue. I confess that I found it quite tacky but hey, good food and staff, I can deal with odd decor. The location might also be off to some people. It did work for me but in the evening not much going on. At least it was quiet and nice to sleep.

The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. Something for everyone and plentiful.

We were on the street side and auto noise was a bit loud. The hotel is away from the center but to be honest no more than a 25 minute walk gently downhill yet also close to a Metro station if walking is an issue.

Our room was comfortable and clean with a modern bathroom, it looks like the hotel was recently renewed. The location is quiet. The breakfast buffet is varied and generous.

The double bed is 1,40m only. The hotel is a bit further away from the city center than we thought. The hotel's restaurant is very good but they made a mistake twice in my order.

All staff where very polite and helpful, good choice of breakfast and good service. Parking was a great plus as it’s difficult around that area. Well worth the price they charge per night. Cristal garden was a plus for the before dinner drinks, very pleasantly set out and good value for money.

Shower leaked all over the floor in bathroom and could have done with a Deep clean. Same with the balcony furniture.

The breakfast had an excellent selection. The room was excellent and spacious. Toiletries were provided. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a little too far out from the main area of Porto. We did not realise the area was so hilly, not good for someone who maybe is not that mobile.

The rooms are pretty big, spacious parking (10 Euro per day), very good breakfast with good coffee. All the staffs are very friendly, especially in the reception and bar. Don't forget to dress up warm in the evening to visit the Bar, in Porto it is pretty cold in the late evenings. City center is not far away around 30 minutes walk or Taxi to visit the city center is around 5 Euro,

Price for food in the restaurant. It is bit expensive.
