The host was really helpful, messaging before arrival with suggestions of places to go and meeting us at the place shortly after we arrived to show us how everything worked. The flats are in a great location within Blackpool. We were in Flat 4 but I think we should have been in 5 as that's what our original email said. Saying that I don't know what the difference would be. The flat had all we needed for a two night stay. It was basic, warm and clean and definitely value for money. If you are after luxury then this isn't for you but as it was a base for us, it was perfect.

Having to put a £1 in the meter for electric. Although it does say on the terms and conditions when booking, it's easily missed. Maybe in the welcoming text a reminder to bring pound coins would be helpful.

It was in a great location for what we needed it for and it was quiet. It was handy having the free car parking behind the apartments that is at no additional cost, which is great! The tram stop was just at the end of the street and is easy to access the centre of Blackpool for a small fee. We were greeted upon arrival from Tim and he was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. The apartment was clean and the facilities were great that was given within the room. The bed was comfy and the bamboo pillows were amazing and we slept great! I would definitely come here again and looking forward to our next stay at empress select holiday flats as we love it in Blackpool!

This property was fabulous to stay in, was so clean and cosy and family friendly. The host Tim was very professional about things, he took his time to go through places to go for the best foods. He’s also a very friendly host I would defo come back to stay at Tim’s again and couldn’t recommend him enough, what a diamond geezer and very welcoming. The property also is so quite which was a great plus and the best part for me was it had parking out the back which is always a good bonus in any situation I’d return alone just for that. Also when we arrived there were little milks sugar coffee tea bags all ready which is a great little touch after a long journey. A++++++++ plus for Tim as a host and a person and top marks all round for the stay at the property. Will be returning in the future to this property on future visits to Blackpool. Many thanks again Tim for a lovely stay.

There’s nothing not to like about this property!

We were greeted on arrival by the host and he thoroughly went through everything with us. He advised of eateries, shops, trams. I contacted him whilst we were there to reask about a couple of places he had mentioned to eat, and received a very prompt reply. We parked easily at the property and he even carried my heavy suitcase up to the room. The accommodation was clean and the bed was sooo comfy. There was a kitchen with fridge, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and utensils. The room was lovely and warm. Although at North Shore end of Blackpool, just at the top of the street was the tram stop which we bought day tickets and travelled on and off as we pleased. Great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Blackpool. We will definitely be back.

How helpful Tim was for us. He gave us some advice on places to eat and how to enter the apartments etc. He was more than welcoming and friendly. He was also easy to contact if we had any issues. The location itself was also good. nice quiet street with a local cafe just 5 minutes away which did a great cheap breakfast.

Just one thing was the pin code didn't work when we returned back in the evening. Tim however was quick to answer my message and we soon gained access to enter.

There was nothing not to like. From our first day booking to arriving, the contact we had was amazing. We had WhatsApp from Tim telling us the best places to eat, which was really appreciated and then our arrival was great. Tim met us at the flat even though we arrived early and again was so helpful telling us how best to get around, best places to eat etc, it was so helpful and a really nice personal touch. The location was great, far enough away from the main area to be nice and quiet and there was a tram stop at the top of the street. The flat was comfortable, clean and tidy. We will definitely book here again in the future. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We stayed in apartment 2, which is on the ground floor. It was a perfect sized studio apartment at an amazing price. It is in a great location with the tram just a few seconds along the road to get back and forth from central Blackpool. Jubilee Gardens is nearby, a very nice small gardens on the seafront. Tim was amazing and helped us when we asked. Nothing was too much trouble, and communication was great. He even recommended some places for us. We tried out Stefani's Pizzeria, and it was the best pizza we have had. Tim's dog also greeted us on arrival, very cute and friendly. Everything we needed and things were perfect for us on our stay. Will definitely return.

Tim the owner went out of his way to be helpful. He allowed us to park up at 11am and even had the apartment ready at this time. Parking was right outside of front door. Once inside everything was spotlessly clean. the apartment has everything you could require. clean and comfortable bed, hot water at all times a good size and set up. Very quiet hardly heard a sound from anyone else. Tram stop within 100yds which is very handy, bus stop at other end of street just a little farther away. We were so pleased with everything we've book to go again.

We (4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 7-15) stayed in apartments 7 & 8. Fantastic location, quiet but very close to the tram so easy access to the main town. It was clean, a good size, with a good amount of amenities. Parking available at the back. Before we arrived the owner contacted us with restaurant recommendations and clear directions for arrival. The owner met us when we arrived and walked us through the apartments, where to get the tram etc. very helpful.
