The decorations were nice, the room was nicely furnished and the facilities were quite pleasant. It's only a few minutes walking from several bus routes and twenty minutes by car from the airport, but the surrounding neighborhood is still quiet and pleasant. Wi-Fi works great and the lounge and garden are quite nice.

The place is pretty old, which means it will have accessibility problems for anyone who is affected by that. There are not very many rooms on the ground floor, and carrying a suitcase up and down the stairs could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues, since for obvious reasons they can't put in an elevator. This isn't really a criticism of the facility, just an acknowledgment of its age and the fact that it may not suit everyone as a result.

The hotel is located in a nice calm area, 7 minutes walk from a bus stop: half an hour from the center of the city and an hour away from the ariport. My room was small but cozy, with all necessities to stay for a couple of days. The lady on reception was friendly, explained me everythong, loaned an adapter.

There were some issues with cleaning. When I arrived I found an absoultely dirty (used by someone) teaspoon. The next day when I returned to my room I found all the garbadge from the can collected in one pack and standing right on the table near the bed - which was really strange. Also there were some black hair on the towels

It was easy to find. On first booking I thought it had parking but from reviews noticed not. Enquired with egans and informed it wasn't bookable but first come basis. Luckily we got there for check in time and managed to book a space. We had family room, spacious clean room. Beds comfortable. Facilities good.in room. Has an seating area downstairs but we didnt use. It was only a overnight stay for us as due to get ferry home early morning next day. Booking in and checking out good. Had a walk in to the town. 10-15min walk to local shops and close to pubs/bars. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Dublin.

If you don't manage to get a parking spot at hotel. Surrounding streets are 2 euros an hour and max stay of 3 hours. Didn't affect us as we managed to get a spot but just to make others aware.

The property was easy to find on a quiet street. Parking places on the property itself cost an additional 12 Euro, which I requested, although there was also some street parking as well. Several places to eat/drink were within reasonable walking distance. There is a small sheltered garden that residents can enjoy as late as 10 at night. My room's window faced the garden, which was pleasant because no one was using it, despite nice early April weather. There were a number of small connected lounge areas. At my request, I was giving a ground-floor room because of my having bad knees. However, it was a long way from the entry and did involve a short flight of steps.

I think 15 Euro for breakfast was a high price, but I didn't have it and can't comment on value for cost. I wonder if I would have had problems with noise if people had been using the garden, especially with children.

Good location for Dublin ferry port (20 mins). Parking for smaller cars (additional 12 Euro cost) in, essentially, the front garden with charging points for electric cars.

Conflicting information regarding on site parking, website says that advance booking is essential but they will not let you book! They demanded ID when we were checking in and when asked why this was we were told it was their policy. Given all the scammers etc. out there I object to anybody having my personal information when it is not required. In this case it is not required and is the first time in over 50 years (including other accommodation on this trip) that I have been asked for it. Whatever happened to GDPR and the requirement to only collect personal information that was necessary?

Walking distance to Croke park (20 min) and to bus drop from airport (15). Nice residential area. Clean. Shower pressure very nice. Immediate hot water.

The bathroom was so small that it was seriously difficult to get to the toilet behind the door. The shower head is so high and the enclosure so small that when it’s turned on the bathroom floor is splashed significantly before you can close the door. Furniture very old. Carpet can do with refreshing. Bed and pillows are medium. Good for one night for value. The design of the bathroom could have been much better. Removing the old bedside tables would make a big difference. Replace the old wool cover on the bed with something fresher. Those changes might be a good investment and might allow you to raise the price of the room.

For me, it was perfect. Its a 40 min walk to the main center or 20 min bus ride. For me the 30 min bus ride to the airport was important as my flight was in the morning and I need to be there by 6am. 10 min walk to the bus stop going to the airport. There are bars and restaurants near the area for some good eats and fun. The closest attraction was the Botanical gardens and a cemetary with museum and tour. The Botanical gardens was nice even in winter. Friendly staff. Irish breakfast was always good and buffet style. My room was fantastic as I was a solo traveler and I got the dorm room with my own washroom all to myself. I will come back here again. Price is good compared to the main center.

Honestly, the location can be an issue if its your first time in Dublin and would want to be closer to the main center. This is my 2nd time in Dublin so I dont care much for the craziness in the main center. I did go there to do some shopping and easily bus back to the guesthouse with my haul. The covers on the bed do have stains and might need updating. And the carpets might need some washing. I walk barefeet in my room so my feet were a bit dirty afterwards.

Very nice and comfy ambience just what we were looking for. Preferred the quiet location instead of the down town hustle and didn't mind to walk back and forth to the city center which took us about 30 min. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Size of room was ok for two persons, didn't need anything bigger.

Temperature of water in shower changed every 10 sec from hot to cold. Assume it was due to other guests taking shower at the same time, as it happened mostly in the evening and not in the morning or afternoon. Room was well cleaned, but beds could have been made up with more care .

The property is strategically located and just a few mins walk to National Botanic Garden and bus stops. There is GoCar nearby too if you want to drive around. We like the decorations and the homely vibes of the hotel. It feels like home where we can just rilex at the lounge area and chitchatting with other guests. The room service was excellence, even though we didnt ask for the room services they came and clean the room and change the towels everyday. The staffs are the heart of the hotel. Elizabeth, Irma and Alex you guys are very helpful and makes our stay memorable and you helps us with everything we need.

Great location. Easy 10 minute walk to bus stop for Dublin City. Quiet area, spotlessly clean and good heating. Very nice and clean bathroom.Great garden area at centre of complex. The best aspect of the property were the staff, in particular, Elizabeth on the front desk. We have never met anyone in the service industry as sweet, friendly, warm and helpful as Elizabeth. On our first visit to Dublin, Elizabeth enabled us to effortlessly acclimatise and transition to this location with insights that otherwise might have caused us problems.

Not actually a dislike….more a necessary adjustment, but the room was a little small and tight for manoeuvring. Also,as we were on the ground floor, foot traffic from the room above sounded very loud. Not much can be done with older buildings as they don’t have the subfloor insulation common in modern buildings.
