The room was really big and spacious, amazing facilities with a full kitchen and armchairs. The B&B was easy to find and perfect location for those walking Hadrian’s Wall. The host Jackie was really welcoming and even drove us out to a local pub for a fantastic meal as the pub in the village is not open at the moment. Jackie provided a range of options for breakfast, portions very generous and all included in the price of the room. I would highly recommend staying here.

The only minor complaint would be limited headroom in the shower as it’s built into the eaves. Other than that it really was absolutely fantastic.

Excellent self-contained facilities including washing machine and drier, great shower. The location is on Hadrian's Wall path and the hosts were very accommodating providing taxi services to and from other parts of the wall. Recommend staying 2 to 3 nights and using as a base.

The steps up to the second storey accommodation would not suit disabled persons

Best apartment stay, in a long time. Stayed in coverted separate apartment. Modern, comfortable and fully equipped. Very friendly owner, and breakfast brought to room on request. Great location to stay if hiking Hadrians Wall. Nice pubs nearby for a drink.

Beware of large dog. Not dangerous, but can be intimidating on passing.

The apartment was immaculately clean, well stocked, with fresh, lovely, comfy beds. Jackie and Steve were wonderful hosts, couldn’t do enough for us. Great contact before hand and even offered to book us a table at a local restaurant and preceded to drop us off and pick us up! Breakfast and packed lunch were brilliant and we made our choices for these the night before. On our Hadrian’s wall trip, this really was the height of luxury - we would highly recommend to anyone passing by this way.

That we couldn’t stay longer!!

Jackie was excellent from start to finish with communications. We arrived later than we told her and she had no problems with it at all. The parking was right next to the accommodation and everything was super clean in the apartment. The apartment provides everything we needed and not to mention the amazing breakfast! It is pet friendly which our senior cat enjoyed her stay very much! Also the location is great if you want to explore Hadrian's Wall as you can just walk from the apartment. Highly recommended to everyone! Thank you Jackie!

Jackie was absolutely amazing! So helpful and so understanding and flexible! The location and apartment itself was absolutely brilliant. We travelled from London had issues on the way and kept Jackie informed who was so accommodating

The accommodation was modern and spacious. The location is well placed between local pubs, and with easy access to parts of the Wall. Having a functioning kitchen was really useful. I was able to prepare an evening meal, and use the washing/drying machines. The cooked breakfast were very good, and there was plenty of continental options to choose from. The owners were really accommodating and helpful.

The apartment was brilliant. Self contained x well equipped. It was nice to have a lovely breakfast brought up to the apartment by Jackie everyday. We could eat privately every morning x take our time. We did move into a another room in the main house for our last night due to me not booking enough nights! I’m pleased to say it was just as nice x again breakfast was brought in by Jackie every morning. We spoke to Jackie’s husband who was pleasant x informative. (sorry I’ve forgotten his name.) Not forgetting Noah who greeted us wagging his tail every time we came back from our daily walks. Reminded me of home. x

Absolutely everything. The location is ideal for tourists who like to walk and see the local beauty. The accommodation is outstanding. It was clean,cosy. We staying in a self contained flat above garage and it was so comfortable and peaceful, it had everything you would need. Jackie the owner was lovely, so welcoming and her breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and the cooked breakfast was amazing.

Second time walking the Wall and second time staying. Best accommodation on both trips. Village pub was shut for refurbishment, so host drove us to and from local hotel where we had a lovely meal.
