We received a warm welcome from our host and were given a beautiful room with a huge bathroom and a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample storage for clothes and luggage. There was a large, sunny lounge downstairs and a pleasant glass-walled dining room. There was a very good selection of both hot and cold food available at breakfast which was tasty and well-presented. The five minute walk into town was perfect and we really appreciated the private parking. We were so impressed we booked a second night, and would have stayed longer had time allowed.

A kettle in the room would have been helpful. Although there were facilities for making hot drinks available downstairs, this is not ideal first thing in the morning when many people enjoy a hot drink on waking. I had to get dressed to go downstairs (7am) as some people were already having breakfast (we weren’t eating until 9am). Everything else was perfect.

Location 4 minute walk in to town. would highly recommend staying at this house. breakfast room lovely and bright breakfast freshly cooked, staff excellent and so friendly. Bedrooms spotless. my self and eight friends stayed for 2 nights friend Birthday Mary greeted us at the door she is so friendly and bubbly nothing was any trouble for her to make our stay very enjoyable. as it was my friend birthday she had a lovely gift for her. very thoughtful. Next time i visit Killarney i will stay here.

Nothing not to like

This is a great place. We just happe to get a room on the ground floor that had an extra door into the main lobby area. That really kept it quiet. We were greeted and continually assisted by very pleasant staff. Coffee, tea and a couple little things were always available in the lobby. We did not eat the full breakfast there so can't comment on that. The location of Ardree house was perfect .

Lovely, spacious, beautifully decorated B&B just a short walk from the town centre. Great brewery and taproom directly across the road and 15 mins walk from Ross Castle. Wonderfully friendly welcome from Mary the owner. Free tea and coffee. Super comfortable bed and spotlessly clean room and en suite. Great value for money. Only tiny downside was non existent shower pressure. However it was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

Great location, really friendly and helpful staff on arrival and in the dining room, our room was large and well equipped, the house was large and beautiful with tea and coffee available all day in the entry, a beautiful living room available to relax in as well. The breakfast was great - both hot and cold menu and cooked to order, fresh and really nice. The location is perfect on the edge of town close to all the restaurants and pubs, but quiet and onsite parking available. It was an exceptional stay!

If you’re looking for something close distance to walking into town, definitely a great spot. Beds are comfortable and clean.

I might have missed it in the booking but the breakfast wasn’t included in the price. We had to pay extra for each day, for each person which I found odd since it was a bed and breakfast. We only paid for one day since we could eat anywhere. Our room had a private bathroom (room 7) and the door wouldn’t stay open if you wanted it to, even with the stopper provided. Hopefully they are fixing that.

This B&B was a great place to stay. Perfect location from the Gleneagle Hotel, very short drive/walk. The staff were so friendly and super efficient. We locked ourselves out of our room, and within minutes, it was sorted with absolutely no hassle. The breakfast we ordered was the full Irish, and it was gorgeous. With the offer of more of anything if we wanted. Super place to stay, and hopefully, we will come again.

Nothing not to like!

The location is perfect, walking distance from the city centre and very close to the national park. You have a dedicated car park and the structure is very welcoming, with many spaces to relax, read a book, have a tea/coffee. They also have family rooms, which is a plus. Our room was clean and cozy, very well warmed. The bathroom was spacious. The structure is typically vintage. Good breakfast.

Location, cleanliness,tea available all day and night in lobby,nice friendly staff,comfy bed and pillows,price also was a good deal as Killarney now too go away for a wkend is pretty expensive now,we definitely be back...

Shower gel needed too be filled up,the heater in the room was broken so we could not turn it off,we where on fire at night had too put a spare blanket over it,also there is a slight step goin' into the bathroom both of us got a Nick on our toes over it,room 7.. but this would not stop us coming back...thanks for a Lovely 2 nights ....

Lovely accommodation, beautiful room. Close to town centre. Hosts were able to give recommendations regarding local good restaurants.

Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in our room, rather than having to use station downstairs. Our shower hose was split which meant it sprayed everywhere, making it less effective and hard to shower without getting hair wet.
