I've stayed in hotels around this location before and it is very convenient, near Lancaster Gate Underground Station on the central line. You can get to any part of the city fairly quickly. The room was very spacious for a single bedroom and London standards, had a twin bed, a nice desk, cupboard that held an ironing set-up and a hair dryer, and a decent sized bathroom with a fairly spacious shower. The room was very clean, had AC (which was very much appreciated, as the days I stayed were rather hot) and a fairly big TV (which I didn't use, but it's nice to have the option). For breakfast you head down to the designated breakfast room which holds the buffet and a seating area. Additionally to the buffet, the breakfast staff will come to your table and take your order from the hot menu, which will be made fresh and is included in the breakfast price.

The Wifi was a bit spotty in my room and sometimes randomly cut out entirely. I didn't have this problem in the lobby or the breakfast room, so I assume my room (no 16) was just further from the connection point. It was only a minor inconvenience though, it always reconnected after a bit and I still enjoyed my stay very much.

Small but comfy room but was for a short break for one night only and convenient for a nearby event. Room was clean and warm.

Couldn't get hotel wifi in the room, connected to a local pub wifi and now getting bombarded with emails. One of the lifts wasn't working which meant a slightly more circuitous route to my room.

On arrival there was confusion with the room we had booked but Beatrize with Joanna solved the problem and Ali took our luggage to a room reserved for us the following day when we were out. You can order anything from the freshly cooked breakfast or go for the buffet. The train station is only 5 minutes walk and there was some restaurants on the next street. Taormina Italian Restaurant was recommended by Beatrize and they really have great Italian food.

Building works going on the property next to the hotel, but it didn't bother us as we didn't even notice it when inside.

Really convenient location, close to good public transport. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall the hotel was well presented and welcoming. The room was large and well laid out for a family with younger children. The mezzanine bedroom helped to separate bedroom spaces in a practical way.

The decor of the room was a little tired. Scuff marks on the walls, water mark stains in the bath and a few broken tiles. The room was clean however so this helped. The bathroom was extremely small and a challenge to navigate around for more than one person.

A beautiful hotel in a very central location, very close to Lancaster Bridge train station and fifteen minutes' walk from Paddington station. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the breakfast is good and varied and the staff is wonderful, both at the reception and in the dining room, requests are welcome. Since I was traveling alone, I got a single room with a single bed, the room was definitely enough for what I needed. In addition, when you hang the "Please clean my room" sign, they also take care of clean coffee cups, coffee cups and milk, as well as cookies. A wonderful way to start the morning even before going down to the dining room. Every request I made even before I arrived was met with settlement, when I arrived I was happy to find a wonderful staff that helped me find my way around a bit. Really wonderful, I'm sure I'll come back again!

One small thing I would add, a bottle of water. The air conditioning dryer and a bottle of water in the room would have been really helpful.

From the moment I approached him, Wajdy was professional, attentive, and empathetic. He listened carefully to my concerns and took immediate action to address the problem. What truly stood out was his commitment to ensuring that my experience turned around completely. Not only did he resolve the issue promptly, but he went above and beyond to make me feel valued and appreciated as a guest. Thanks to his efforts, what started as a negative situation turned into a positive and memorable experience. Wajdy’s dedication to excellent service and his ability to lead with care and professionalism reflect the high standards of the hotel. I truly appreciate his efforts and highly commend his outstanding approach to guest satisfaction!

1. I loved the library lobby, I can spend hours sitting there without feeling bored, especially when there's a complementary mint-lemon water jar and a bar. 2. Rooms were very comfortable. 3. Staff was helpful and cooperative.

1. Elevators have to be modified, enhanced or even replaced for there only two old, extremely slow and very cramped elevators. 2. There wasn't even one complementary water bottle in the room. 3. To open or shut the window, you have to stand in so narrow space between the end of the bed and the wall. 4. Safe box was not operating well I had to ask them to manually open it for me, I mentioned this because I heard the same complaint raised to front desk by another guest who had a problem with her safe box.

The location is absolutely amazing. It is just a 3-min walk from Hyde Park. The area is so lovely. Lancaster Gate Street is very quiet, and then you can turn right or left and you will be in a very dynamic area. Loads of Cafes, restaurants, and pubs.

There was not anything that we did not like. However, they can improve the facilities. For examples, the toilet fan was a bit noisy. I think they should supervise the food ordered and delivered to the hotel before it gets to the guests as well. This helps avoiding any issues.

This hotel is in a great location, right by Hyde Park, and in walking distance to a subway station. It made it very easy to navigate the city. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good value for money and had a huge selection of food options. The rooms were clean.

The rooms and bathrooms are small, but this is expected for a downtown London hotel. The fitness centre was a tiny room with a treadmill, bike and elliptical. No free weights or a weight stack.

Location was quiet and near to Hyde Park. Underground station was nearby. Room was extremely clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was good value for money with a excellent choice of cold and hot food. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

TV placed in a different position as we got a crick in the neck watching it sideways whilst laying on the bed. No shower mat, which was a safety issue. We couldn't close the window as blocked off with wooden blocks screwed into the frame. It was lucky that the evening was warm as if it had been raining or cold it would have been a problem. Also, the window caused a problem with noise, scaffolding outside which was a security issue.
