Great location and the check in staff were lovely, serving us prosecco on arrival! The location is fantastic.

It was hard to find this hotel from the train station due to calling itself Dufour instead of just the Hotel Schweizer. The room was a bit small for the price, but the bathroom had many amenities. The hotel breakfast was not very good or fresh and lacked non dairy options. The staff was very friendly, however.

What a fantastic hotel experience we received. The rooms were superb and beautifully serviced, well apointed and the beds were really comfortable. We could not have found any problems or issues with this hotel. Breakfast was a sublime experience. Location was so good for us as we arrived and departed from the train station. Will we return - if I ever find myself in Zurich again there would be only one hotel I would stay at - Hotel Schweizerhof!!! (Hotel Schweizerhof was suggested as a place to stay from www.seat61 - I was so glad I paid attention)

The room was luxurious. The staff were amazing and the level of service was exceptional. Great location. We enjoyed room service, the cafe, and the main dining room—highly recommend them all.

It will be hard to stay anywhere else after our amazing stay at the Hotel Schweizerhof Zurich.

Location is perfect

Limited choice for breakfast. Gym in the hotel is tiny, a sport equipment was offline and the hotel staff could not help to turn it on. There is option for a gym outside, but it is less convenient to go outside when the time is limited.

Breakfast was excellent.

Checking out, I found out (luckily) that they had charged my credit card for the 3 nights stay which i had already paid thru Booking.com. This caused a delay as they sorted it out. Mistakes happen, I understand. But later reading my emails I found out that additional charge resulted in my credit card going OVER its limit. Which in turn meant my bank has charged me $29.99 in fees! This has really irked me and I’m NOT happy with the Hotel or Booking.

Location is the best, kids were impressed with complementary chocolate and candy servise every day, very nice touch.

Cleaning was not always good enough

Beautiful hotel and superb service, our first night there was fantastic live music in the bar and the beds and pillows are so comfortable, it is like sleeping in a cloud!!
