The staff were very friendly, the bed extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was a very good start to the day!

Only criticism was the toilet had a shower screen for a door so even though my husband and I have been together for 40 years? It was a bit too close to the bedroom for comfort!!!

Everything was lovely but the staff were exceptional. A lovely (Spanish) gentleman was there to greet me & nothing was too much trouble. His customer service was 10 out of 10

Parking….the Goulburn Street parking station is awful. It’s always full, it’s very dirty & it definitely isn’t a car park for large (Land Cruiser) vehicles.

Central location, next to busy/loud area but soundproofing is excellent - the room was very quiet. I arrived at 10pm and that was no issue for staff, who were very friendly. The room was beautifully appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

This little boutique hotel is such a gem. Location is perfect for trains and light rail plus only a 10min walk to Paddy’s Markets or Chinatown for great food options. The complimentary breakfast is lovely and plentiful and the bed in our room was super comfy.

To say our room was a tight squeeze is an understatement. The bed was far too big for the room! There was nowhere for us to put our stuff - we stayed 6 nights so would’ve been nice to unpack. Nowhere to put luggage and not a great deal of room to put toiletries in the bathroom. The room would benefit from a much smaller bed and then perhaps some more storage could be fitted in

Good location, continent for train and walk. Staffs are super friendly and helpful, the whole process is nice and smooth. The interior design is fabulous, love it.

Our room is facing the main Street, sometimes it get a bit nosy in the middle of the night.

Loved it was a boutique hotel with an industrial edgy decorating style. Very convenient to Central station with a great choice of eateries nearby. Our room was upgraded, which was a pleasant surprise. The amenities and toiletries were top notch. A comfy bed for a great night's sleep and our room had the bonus of a terrace with decking and outdoor seating. We weren't impacted by street noise at night, and the heavy block out curtains ensured a good night's rest. Loved the thoughtful checkin/checkout surprises, which made you feel valued as a guest. Staff were fabulous.

The hotel is very nice and cosy, the breakfast is good and there is anything you need to be ready for a day of exploration. Location is near the train station which is not the most beautiful quarter in Sydney but very convenient due to the proximity to china town. Bed was confortable and big.

Our room was not super clean. It was nice and ok cleaning but some stuff from previous guest where left on the bathroom sink and we had to throw it away. The floor was sticky and the decorative pillow on the bed had a big chocolate stain at the back. Nothing to much annoying but I would not rate this as « exceptional ». Reception was ok.

Staff were excellent, location ideal, room amenities were good. The bed, pillows and sheets were comfy and clean. Aircon worked well. Breakfast was continental but staff ensured it was topped up constantly. Again can't praise the staff enough, everyone was friendly and helpful.

Only issue we had was a lack of storage space for clothes. We were booked for 4 nights prior to a cruise so lived out of our suitcases which for us wasn't a big deal but I could see it being an issue for some, so just a heads up. If you were only staying for a night or two this wouldn't have been a problem.

Very comfortable room, though if you’re 2 people it might take a little maneuvering around the bed due to limited floor space there. Stylishly decorated, with thoughtful touches like bathrobes. Coffeemaker and some minibar items like wine. The staff was super nice and did their best to make a person feel welcome and at home. The concierge had a great list of local spots for food and drink and was very helpful with advice.

The lobby was very highly perfumed. This can be a problem for migraine sufferers and people with asthma and/or allergies. It’s a simple fix to tone that down, so either it was a fluke or could already be corrected as I write this. There was no luggage rack in the room, and the request for 1 took a few tries but eventually 1 was provided. There should be 1 in every room. Again, an easy fix and most certainly not a deal breaker. Also there was supposed to be milk in the room fridge for coffee but it wasn’t there. Just a minor thing.

The hotel is close to the train station but not in a nice area. The door is locked and you need to ring the bell to get in the first time, I had to ring twice as no one came initially. It is clean and nice inside

Breakfast is simple but adequate, however you are not asked nor offered coffee or tea. I requested peppermint tea at a the reception but it was forgotten, after 15 minutes I asked again and still nothing happened, After 20 minutes I received tea with an apology but it was still not the tea I asked for so I gave up. I was not impressed with the reception. I could not figure out how to turn off the bedside lights and had to ask the next day. There is no info in the hotel room. The body lotion bottle in the bathroom was empty and there should be an option to leave the bathroom door open instead of being dependent on an electric opener which gives you the feeling of being locked up.
