The hotel is like home away from home. It is very cozy, probably one of the older buildings in the area. The staff are very helpful, very approachable. The location is perfect - within 4 minutes of walking from Varna center, and a few minutes walk to the beach.

Nothing much. If you are looking for modern hotel with facilities, this isn't the place.

A beautiful hotel, very nicely decorated, with vintage objects and amazing pictures, located in the center of Varna, at a short distance from the beach.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room, like a cigarette smoke. Also, the windows don’t have mosquito nets.

- kind, friendly and helpful staff (the girls at the reception), with very good English, provided us with all the information we needed - very good cleanliness in the room - quite big room - acceptable breakfast, according to Bulgarian standards (but almost unchanged in the 4 days) - excellent location, in the city center and at an walking distance from the beach

- we haven't had such bad coffee in a long time - breakfast juices should be avoided (terrible) - lack of own parking (however, there are 2 public parking lots a short distance away)

The hotel was beautiful on the inside with a lovely mezzanine staircase to rooms. The breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, cheese and cereals. Our room was really big with aircon keeping it at a comfortable temperature. The staff were really helpful with local information and keeping our bags after check-out. The hotel has great location being a short walk from the train station and 4 minutes from the beach.

The location is central. Just few minutes from the Dornition Cathedral. The staff was very gentle with me and took care of my needs. The room was comfortable and clean. No noiose. Breakfast had good quality. The service is exceptional. Been several times to Varna. This Hotel is higly recomended

Wunderfull Hotel with fantastic staff; Europe at it´s best. A family Hotel with a long tradition and a very very good welcome to the guests. The Hotel is placed 10 Minutes at a slow walk into the city centre and a 15/20 walk to the beach. Verna (Werna) at this location is a perfect start to have bulgarian culture with leisure moments.

I liked everything - great staff, perfect location, super clean, nice interior - both room and hotel, very spacious room.

Top staff, very clean room and bathroom, the location, the design, the good breakfast.

Just minor things: The Wi-Fi was so and so. The shower wasn’t very confortable.

It’s a fine property very centrally. Located to everything you’d want to see. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The staff for outstanding.

Staff and location

The hotel is in the city centre but on a quite street. The room was big, there was even something like a hallway between the bedroom and the front door. Bathroom was big. Bed was also big and comfortable. It was clean. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and in a very nicely decorated space.

I found the room too dark. As the street has a lot of trees you don´t get much sunlight in the room. And i like light, that´s why for me it was an inconvenience. But if you like it a bit darker during the day, you will love it.
