Location is good for exploring the area by walking. Eva was so friendly and helpful. Such a kind helpful person for checking in in a new place.

The bedding and room furnishings are quite dated. Bed was so hard.

I have asked for early check in ,lady on receptions said that can’t be done and check in is at 14.00.Did not appear to make any effort to try .When come back later on seamed she could not even remember I was there earlier.

Though I wasn't traveling for work, I did have to join in for a couple of work meetings on Zoom during my stay so I appreciated the fast WiFi connection. I liked the size of the room and the size of the bathroom - plenty of space to store items. I also appreciated the complimentary water bottles. All staff I met were friendly and welcoming, and I liked the ease of requesting a taxi when I had to head out to the Sofia Airport at 4am in the morning. The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance of the Vitoshka street and the National Palace of Culture.

I'm not sure why, but there was no hot water when I tried to take a shower in the evening. I waited and waited and no hot water came. Because I stayed at the hotel on the hottest day in Sofia, I didn't mind taking a cold shower but I still don't understand why there wasn't any hot water. Pretty unusual honestly for a hotel in Sofia. I meant to mention it to the front-desk staff in the morning, but I guess I was too sleep-deprived having to get up for an early morning flight and completely forgot. Other than that, though, a pretty decent stay.

Great stay, we felt really good here! We stayed just one night at Sofia Place Hotel by HMG, but it was a very pleasant experience. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was also large and well maintained. One of the highlights was the balcony, it had a lovely view of the mountains, which made our stay even more relaxing. A big thank you to Eva at the front desk, who helped us with parking and was incredibly friendly and professional. She really does a great job and made us feel very welcome. All in all, a great place to stay in the center of Sofia: calm, clean, and with helpful staff. We definitely recommend it!

Location is great, my room is so nice and big and for a very good price

The lady in reception when I arrived was super nice and she made my life easier, but there was a guy at night who wasn’t respectful at all , I told him that I forgot my keys in the room and I give him my room number and my name, he was writing the wrong room number and started acting weird and asked me to step back in a shity way. After he noticed his mistake he didn’t apologize and just smiled and give me another key for my room. I will still give 8 just for the lady who made my stay in Sofia better

It is exactly on the centre and close to Metro. It has spacious double room that is practically a very big studio with kitchen place and glasses and plates together with free tee, two free bottles of water and coffee, separate table with chairs, table for with nice Tv, terrace, nice large beds, strong and silent air conditioner, nice pillows, and finally there is two rows of curtains. The bathroom is big and nice with all the necessary things for taking shower. There is elevator from the first to the last floor, 24 hours reception with kind and very professional staff and button for automatic calling of taxi.

I could not point even I am sleeping every week in Sofia due to work.

Our stay in Sofia Place Hotel was overall nice. The location is amazing, a few meters away from Vitosha street and NDK. The staff was very nice, especially EVA who is a very kind person. She makes you feel welcome instantly. Also she can speak english well so communication with her was very easy and intuitive. In the room you find most things you need: tea, coffee, water (for free) and more. Overall, Sofia Place Hotel is a good deal.

The first night we arrived tired so the sound of yhe elevator opening and closing was a bit irritating but we barely heard it after that. Also we asked for extra blankets as we cannot sleep in the heating and our request was granted. So no problem.

I liked my room very much! It was bigger than expected and it felt as if I were in my own small apartment. My favorite part was probably the balcony. It had a nice view of the Vitosha mountain. The bathroom was very big too. The shower cabinet was one of the biggest I've ever seen! The room was clean and the mini bar was supplied daily. I like that there was a detailed explanation on what's free and and what's not, as well as the prices of all the items. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is very close to Vitosha Boulevard, NDK, Vasil Levski Boulevard, Vasil Levski Stadium and the Saint Nedelya Temple. Breakfast is not available in the hotel, but it is in close proximity of many cafes and restaurants. My room was equipped with a kettle, two regular glasses, two smaller cups, two teaspoons and two wine glasses, which was very convenient. The pillow in my room was the best pillow I ever slept on! It was perfect! My back and neck weren't sore at all! The internet was great as well. I would definitely come back to this hotel again if I ever visit Sofia in the future.The staff is friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable here.

The second half of all the coat hangers in the room was broken off. The lid of the kettle was broken apart from the kettle, so I had to physically remove the lid in order to pour water into the kettle and into my mug, or else it would fall off. I'm not sure if it was due to poor isolation or very noisy neighbors, but I could hear the neighbors from the room next door. This didn't interrupt my sleep whatsoever. I wish there was a small sponge and detergent I could've used to clean the mugs and cups I drank water and tea from. I also wish the room had one more towel.
