I was staying here as my husband was in the Freeman hospital so a ten minute walk took me to the bus stop which took me right outside the hospital in around 7 mins. The property was very clean and comfortable. A nice big bed which was comfortable and housekeeping came everyday to see if anything was needed. I love that it had a shower and a bath as a bath a night to relax after sitting in hospital all day and a shower in the morning for quickness is perfect. There was a Nisa shop literally a 2 minute walk which had all essentials to keep me going.

My only issue was the space you had to make any kind of food. There is a small hob, kettle and microwave with a mini fridge. It’s all in cases in what looks like an old sideboard which has been adapted and although it looks cute it’s defo not practice. The sink is tiny and you have to literally bend under the unit to get anything done. I had to live off sandwiches and micro meals as there just want comfortable space to cook anything other than that. I stayed for 8 days which was absolutely fine if you like to eat out.

the room was clean and the space was really nice. the location is also perfect, very close to the city center, and located in a beautiful neighborhood.

the WiFi was not always working, and given that I was also working from the hotel that was not ideal. Additionally, we initially booked a studio apartment, as we hoped to have access to a kitchen. However, the kitchen only had a microwave and a drink refrigerator (instead of a real fridge). The staff were very kind to reassign us to a different apartment which had all the necessary appliances in the kitchen.

Basic but comfortable self-catering accommodation near Jesmond Metro, handy for Ouseburn where we were attending an event. We are repeat guests - this time we were in a second-floor one-bedroom apartment with a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. We had a full complement of pans and cutlery (it tends to vary). We made good use of the microwave/toaster/kettle and appreciated the free parking. Staff at the Holiday Inn were very welcoming and friendly as always.

The air conditioning in the living room didn't seem to be working properly; it was fine in other parts of the apartment.

The place is very easy to find and very near the metro. You can park in the holiday inn free of charge which is joined to the apartment. The accommodation is very modern. The shower is the most powerful I've ever had and was fantastic. The rooms are very spacious and the double bed was comfortable. You could not hear any noise outside of the apartment. There was welcome pack of water, biscuits, tea etc. there is a microwave and hope with small fridge etc. Nice size TVs. Overall definitely recommend staying but if your planning on using the sofa bed it's not comfortable or clean ( well not in 91/4 room anyway ) but apart from that it was all great including the very friendly staff!

The only snag was the sofa bed was filthy , stained and not very comfortable in 91/4 room. Definitely needs to be changed if a long term stay.

We stayed over Christmas. The apartment is next to the Jesmond Holiday Inn and we were asked to check in there. The young woman on the front desk at the hotel was friendly and very helpful. We were able to take breakfast there and an evening meal, both of which were good. The apartment itself had everything we needed and expected.

When we booked, we were told that there would be a charge of £20 for our dog; this is in line with other "dog-friendly" places that we have stayed at, so we happily accepted it. However, when we checked in, we were told told it was £20 PER NIGHT, which for us meant an up-front extra payment of £80. This should be made clear at the outset because it's a significant extra cost.

Spacious apartment very well furnished and great facilities in the kitchen, great location and parking. Checking in and out was v quick and all the staff were v friendly and efficient. I would recommend staying here to others. Really like the stylish decor.

The shower seal did not work so it leaked water onto the floor and the water did not drain v well which meant the bath started to fill up when having a shower. There was a cracked floor tile and the dressing table was broken in the middle. The apartment was v cold at night that said I reported it and the staff bought extra heaters duvets and got the maintenance team to look at the air conditioning which was v efficient The kitchen units were a little shabby

Central location, nice apartment with separate bedroom, bathroom and living area. Had small cupboard with microwave, 2 ring cooker, small drinks fridge and small sink. Secure access code. Checked in at Holiday Inn next door and parking included. Dealt with 3 members of staff who were all really helpful, smiley and friendly (best personnel experience in a long time anywhere). Large comfy bed. Also were able to take our dog.

All good, just a couple of omissions from the room (hairdryer, tissues in bathroom and sink plug) which we mentioned when checking out. Would definitely use again.

Easy to check in and complimentary parking at the Holiday Inn as we had an apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Asked for a quiet apartment and we got the penthouse one which was perfect. Everything clean and comfortable with a welcome tray of tea,coffee, water, biscuits, milk and chocolate. Toiletries,hairdryer, linen and towels supplied. Washing up liquid, dishcloth, dishwasher tabs, kettle, toaster, microwave,fridge and mini hob included. Right near the Metro trainline and electric scooters to hire if needed. Lovely area and plenty of cafes, Greggs etc close by. Would stay again.

Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs for the apartment but worth it for a quiet stay. Sofa bed pulled out as a double but looks a little tired. Parking spaces in the Holiday Inn a bit of a squeeze with concrete pillars either side of parking spots so be wary if you have a large beast to park!

The room was lovely, a little small because it was an attic studio but that wasn't an issue for us. Being in the attic there were a considerable number of stairs to climb. If you were physically impaired in any way that could be a problem. There was natural light, through skylights, but there was no view to speak of, again not an issue for us. Some of the furniture was beginning to show wear and some of the paintwork flaking, nothing major and it was easy to look beyond. All this sounds quite negative but all in all we had a lovely stay and the facilities in the room were excellent which made our stay very comfortable indeed.

The location is great - near Jesmond Metro, easy to reach by car from the A1, and a 20-minute walk to the Ouseburn area we were visiting. The staff at the Holiday Inn are always friendly and courteous. The kitchenette is a real boon for those who need to cater for themselves. This time we were in a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor. The kitchenette was suitably equipped with enough crockery for three and two frying pans (though I'd have preferred one saucepan), as well as microwave, small kettle, and toaster.

The dishwasher smelled really bad - we ended up handwashing all our dishes before as well as after use. The floors had been cleaned with something sticky, which was unpleasant underfoot. There was a lot of road noise in the first floor bedroom - bring earplugs if this bothers you. I found the bed/pillow combination very uncomfortable, though that may just be me. Our other issue was the parking. We struggled to find a space on the Friday evening and on the Saturday evening the car park was bollarded off - we had not been warned about this in advance. Despite the negatives, the apartment still represents good value for money if you need to self-cater and I would recommend it as long as you're not overfussy.
