I loved the nice, specious, comfortable high ceiling superior king room with large window overlooking the mountains on both sides of the hotel. Room was vcery clean and had everything in good working order. Even the windows curtains were working smoothly. Heat pump was quiet and setup to maintain minimum temperature to prevent freezing in case if you completely turned off. Pretty rare in today's world. Bravo!
I didn't like that the information about the unfinished Wildwood Nordic Spa facilities which is still in a beginning stages of construction. Very uncleared. Also the hotel of this level deserved much better restaurant with more enjoyable dinning experience.

The MTN House is a gorgeous, new hotel surrounded by beautiful views. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms have such lovely attention to detail, from the Canadian Rockies postcard on display (that you can take) to the wooden laser cut room service placards as well as the soaps which were all made locally. The restaurant was very delicious although we only went for breakfast and the waitstaff were attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's so convenient and cozy!
This did not affect us, but the hotel is currently (August 2025) constructing what looks to be a stunning new spa area. They do warn about potential noise. Shower pressure is weak, which seems to be the fault of the shower head design itself. Probably could be fixed easily!

I really liked the decor of the room and lobby, the coffee and tea service available in the room, the bath toiletries were very nice smelling, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Due to construction at the hotel, our room was noisy, so we requested a room change, and the hotel front desk accommodated this request and moved our luggage to the new room for us while we were out sightseeing. So 10/10 for their flexibility and accommodations!
There is ongoing construction right now, which is leading to noise in some rooms, but the hotel was up front about this and accommodated our request to change our room.

I like that the check in and check out process are very swift and easy. The staff are friendly and accommodating especially when they helped with surprising our son with a birthday cake and candle. My sons loved the design and vibe of the hotel lobby, hallways and our room.
Maybe I was expecting that there will be a buffet breakfast because our family loves this. Nevertheless, the grab and go breakfast made it easier for us to prepare for check out. It could have been better as well if the room is a little bit bigger so my kids have more space to play around.

- we asked for a quiet room and they accommodated - it was an anniversary trip and they left a really nice card and gesture - it’s a really nice hotel that feels cozy and welcoming (the scent off the fire in the lobby is to die for) - beds are comfortable - good shower/tub - coded door rather than keycard - Well organized and laid out - coffee/tea selection - chrome cast ability on tv is great
- better breakfast options would be appreciated - hot pool doesn’t accommodate enough people - microwave in room would be appreciated - dogs in some rooms were noisy

Location of the property is perfect. In and out of the freeway was a breeze. Room was not only comfortable but was surprisingly larger than my family and I expected. The layout of the room and property is great. The front desk staff was amazing. Shout out to Connie at the front desk for checking us in. She was patient, accommodating, friendly and kind.
The only knock I would give the hotel is the lack of a swimming pool. I know they are under construction with the Nordic Spa feature they are adding and we are excited to come back and stay here again in the near future.

Great hotel! Good atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Spacious rooms - great value for money at the time of the year I was traveling (February)
I did the whole trip alone without a car which works well if most of the activity are in Banff. For Canmore, public transport is not perfect for this location, but moving around without a car will get easier once the hotel adds rental bikes (I understood it will be in the summer of 2025)

The hotel seems brand new, very clean, with a nice sober decor, the fireplace in the lobby is a great idea, the room was large, clean and comfy, the staff was courteous and available, the location is accessible, great place to be!
Parking is limited…a bit of a struggle to make sure you’ll have spot, especially if you go out in the evening and come back past 10 pm, considering most of us will need a car while in Canmore, at least one parking spot should be guaranteed…, on site restaurant and bar is pretty good but closes at 9 pm and the selection of snacks and drinks past that hour is rather lacklustre,

The first impression of the hotel is very warm, welcoming, clean, and comfortable. It’s close enough to downtown that you can easily walk there, but you’re not in the middle of all the busy streets. The view around the hotel is amazing. When you walk in the lobby there’s a huge fireplace that creates such a comforting atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned beforehand how we were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary and they took the effort to decorate the room which was so nice! I really liked the online check-in & check-out system, hassle-free. Our room was amazing. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and had great views. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was super nice. There’s a big tv in the room that worked seamlessly with chromecast, a nice coffee machine & kettle, and a mini fridge. It was quiet, and we could not hear our neighbouring guests. The restaurant, Rhythm & Howl, has a very creative menu with great food. We had dinner here for two nights and it was amazing. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back!
There is nothing we didn’t like. But it would be nice if the restaurant would offer a sit-down breakfast apart from the grab&go. That would really elevate the whole experience. It wasn’t a problem for us, as we went downtown Canmore for breakfast (Rocky Mountain Bagel Company) which is absolutely amazing!

New facilities, great restaurant, nice fireplace downstairs and boardgames.
The view and price, without a kitchen and laundry inside, aren't balanced. Across the highway are fully furnished apartments for the same price or less with better views and all amenities. Couldn't get Netflix to work without having to upload an app I didn't want. Noise from the highway too loud. Light bulb at the desk was cold white while the rest were the proper warm white. Restaurant is great but pricey; and there should be a continental breakfast. Small hot tub outdoors but I'm more upset by the nature they're tearing down to create the "spa/pool." Canmore must stay in nature and it's already getting way more visitors than nature can handle. If your company is covering the cost and you're here for just a couple of days: do it. If you're here longer, consider other options.
