We booked a triple room on the second floor (stairs or a lift), a balcony with a garden/backyard view towards the city centre. Kind and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast (wide range of food and drinks - a pancake maker, cereals, yoghurts, many different kinds of pastry and bread, buns, even vegan and gluten free, coffee maker, tea, juice, fruits). Comfortable mattresses on all three beds, not some fake folding bed for the third person, soundproofed rooms, cleaned up every day, bathroom with the heating, always hot water, though non fixed shower handle would be better. The hotel is not far from the city sights (15min). There is no problem to left the luggage after the check out. Highly recommend the gelatarium on Via Camillo Cavour 20 R - really beautiful place!

Pretty cold inside the room in february ´cos they heat it up just over the night not during the day, but the receptionist offered an electric heating to us. There was an organized group of some 20 teenagers who were very noisy until 2 o´clock running in corridors, shutting the doors, screaming and yelling. But again the staff made breakfast earlier for them so that we couldn´t be bothered by crowded dining area.

Very good breakfast - not only sweet, but also savoury/ continental. Very good location - quiet street, about 15-20 min. walk from the train station. Room - specious and comfortable. Staff - excellent, speaking English, very helpful.

Air conditioning in our 3-people room wasn't working properly. Breakfast should be optional - we had to check-out about 7 am and didn't have breakfast, but still we were charged the same rate, as there's only one - including or excluding breakfast.

Staff is understanding, accommodating, very helpful. The front office person acted not only as a hotel employee, but also an experienced tour guide. We had two half days to spend in Florence and he gave us the best advice how to efficiently use our brief stay in the city. We managed to see the must see places. Check out time is at 10 am. The hotel stored our luggage (a group of 8 people) so that we can visit places and come back in the late afternoon to freshen up and be ready for our next leg of our trip.

The room was good value for money. The breakfast was ok. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The bed was a little strong for my expectations. The location was within the city center but a little bit far from the main attractions, nevertheles it was in accordance with the price we paid which was one of the cheapest in Florence city center.

The staff was very polite and professional. The location is great to explore the city. Breakfast was varied and the quality of products was good. The room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended! We stayed only for one night but I wish we booked more. Thank you for the great stay!

Charming place to stay, indeed. Pleasant ambience, walking distance to the train station and landmarks, kind and very attentive hosts, everything makes you feel nice. What I saw here for the first time and found just great is the pancakes' maker - highly useful facility, makes not only pancakes but a lot of fun as well. Excellent start of the day. The staff are very helpful , in particular Martin , the Manager. He gave very clear instructions on all the tourist interest spots with guidance on public transport. He also allowed for a late check out for an hour to suit our needs . Another staff Red was very helpful too . He helped us with related information on tourist spots and map. He also helped us for a much more comfortable stay in the room so that we can sleep better. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a great variety of food & drinks . The staff serving the Bar was very pleasant and helpful . Overall, an enjoyable stay !

There was stuffy air in the room and air conditioner didn’t helped especially at night. But when the temperature on the street become lower it was nice Also one girl of the staff was new, she barely speak English and it was difficult to communicate, she needs some inductions before starting her job

AC is not working properly. Room was hot. Need to leave our window open. Room was for 4 guests but only provided with 2 cups and 2 glasses but went to ask. Electric Outlets were getting loose.

It perfectly matched expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive, the check-in process was simple and quick. The location is excellent, a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral. Breakfast has variety and quality and on the first day we were there they allowed us to have breakfast earlier as we had to leave the Hotel early. The room was small, but perfectly adequate for someone who is going to visit the city and spend little time in the room.
