Good breakfast. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel decor is tired and the telephones In the rooms didn't work. Two of the four washers and dryers had broken. One set of vending machines had also failed and the television in the breakfast room was temperamental working only on occasion. Although cider and hot chocolate were supposed to be available they were not. On arrival the receptionist immediately began complaining about her working conditions as she checked us in.

It’s closeness to historic Williamsburg and eating places

On entry there was a smell….at first it smelt like a strong disinfectant but upstairs it just smelt musty. The staircase hadn’t been vacuumed for quite some time. The eggs for breakfast had a weird taste, but at least there were hard boiled eggs to choose. the second day there was no orange juice. There wasn’t any option for someone gluten free as far as bread for toast went. Staff were excellent.

The room was comfy and the breakfast met the hungry needs of the family. The staff was exceptional - from the greeting by Cherie (sp?) to conversations with Alex, the manager. Really nice and hospitable people that made our stay a great experience.

Pool water could have been just a little warmer; but I also understand that the outside pool contractor checks it several times a week, so the manager could not change it. Thanks Alex for explaining!

The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean although a little outdated. Breakfast was really good, although things could be situated differently for the high foot traffic.

I didn't care for the fact that we were told it was pet friendly and when we arrived it wasn't. We had to have our son keep our dog at his house which was inconvenient for everyone.

Lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming. Make you feel at home every time you return. Good breakfast, great pool that our kids loved. Location really convenient to Williamsburg and Bush Gardens, and several good eats on the doorstep.

Honestly just some of the facilities are dated. The shower heads for example need replaced. The carpets are quite worn in places. Feels unfair to call it a cleanliness issue as the place was totally clean, just let down by aging amenities. Honestly not an issue but would be nice to update.

The location was perfect. less than 2 minutes from Richmond Rd and Monticello. The front desk attendant customer service was very welcoming. They have a indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast was self serve. Definitely the best breakfast i’ve had from a hotel. They had self serve waffles, eggs, turkey sausage, pork bacon, pastries, breads and bagels, fruit, Milk and cereal, juice, and coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. My family is definitely returning!!!

The wifi connect was very slow and the t-mobile data reach is spotty in the hotel. I wish there were more lights on the side parking lot.

The pool was wonderful - nice and warm. Breakfast was relatively tasty and the staff was fantastic at refilling. The rooms are basic but more than suitable. Staff was polite. Always coffee and hot water at the front.

The gym is super basic - there is a bike, two treadmills, and an elliptical. The free weights are a mismatch and a bit of a joke as there is no space to use them. I didn't spend too much time there, so it wasn't very important to me. Also, the water fountain didn't work, so outside of breakfast, there was no place to get cold water other than the bathroom sink or vending machines.

Hot tub was SO HOT my kids and I loved it! The pool was also in the upper 70s so it was very comfortable once you got in. The breakfast with eggs, waffle irons, switching between breakfast meats and fast sandwiches, cereals, yogurts, bars, etc. was great. We had a room across from the elevator but we never had any issues with noise. Hair dryer worked and we borrowed a bath plug from the front desk. Front desk and cleaners were always friendly and happy to help. Pool towels had some holes, but I appreciated the fact they didn't just chuck away towels that could still be used! The recommended (by Michelle at Front desk) Rocco's Grill restaurant had delicious food and a circling train which our young kids loved. There was a notice that our room would only be cleaned every third day, however, our trash and towels were exchanged daily. I loved the hours of the breakfast were 6-10am and so when my early risers got hungry for second-breakfast, it was a nice bonus. Also the early pool hours 6am-12 midnight was great for the early risers too getting one last swim on our way out!

Our room was above the front desk, which also meant near to the smoking areas on the front porch and we could smell some smoke before bed due to running the room's AC unit at the window. It wasn't an issue for us, but might be for someone more sensitive.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful to our questions to find food- attractions and airport info. The hotel is located very close to Williamsburg and Jamestown. The pool was nice but hot-tub was great after a long day of walking! We will return and def stay here again!

Pool not heated! Maybe add more fruits to breakfast and try a less-acidic coffee brand.

The staff was outstanding! The rooms were clean. The beds were okay. The pool was large and had good hours of operation (until midnight!). The location was perfect for the "Historic Triangle" with only a short drive (<15 min) to each site. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. I loved the fireplace in the lobby. The breakfast was free and had a nice selection.

The hot tub was not hot at all, nor was it particularly clean. The hot breakfast was all pork options, and I would have loved either an egg only or turkey substitute. The beds were a bit too hard for our liking.
