Clean, peaceful, beautiful place

On ordering from the tablet for dinner, we had selected 2 types of fish on our end but the restaurant received 2 plates of another dish. I called and ended up talking to the manager who was not polite infering I was wrong. He affirmed many times I was mistaken and inferred I was lying, when I had the tablet next to me to prove what I had selected. It was an IT issue that was not our fault but we ended up eating what we didn’t want to. The manager (Steven) sent someone else to the room and did not try to fix the issue or apologize. Another problem we had at check out, there were parking fees charged for every night when we didnt even have a car and a food charge at the pool that was not done by my family. I spent a long time at check out reviewing the bill and talking to front desk.

Breakfast was wonderful! Service was amazing! The Bistro was beautiful, and I will never forget the view of the lake.

Table reservation policies seemed unnecessarily stringent and uncomfortable. Show up on time or face the consequences! We did show up on time and discovered that there were plenty of empty tables around us. The Edgewood Restaurant was not particularly handicapped-friendly. In my room, the toilet/shower arrangement was really weird!

Great location. Good size rooms. Nice bathrobes. Very nice outdoor pool and hot tub- exceptional after skiing. Nice bistro restaurant- good quality food.

Find dining restaurant is very disappointing- quality of food, general ambience. Need major remodelling. Rooms were not clean. Needs improvement. Hotel stuff is very much ‘at home’ and ‘enjoying themselves’ which makes guests feel a. Bit awkward at times…

They upgraded us to a lake view room. It was amazing. Beautifully designed hotel, lovely artwork and friendly staff. Bedroom was very large and super comfy beds. We had a fireplace and large bath. Food at Brooks Bar was amazing and we loved the whole ambience of the entire hotel. Good location on edge of the main area in south lake tahoe.

Absolutely nothing. It was an amazing place to stay

The natural environment in the hotel is very healing, the children are having fun, and the parents are very relaxed

The hotel basically has no service, and there are very few service staff. There is no one who pulls luggage to help open and close the door. The service staff in the restaurant are also very busy, which cannot meet the needs of guests when there are many people. The food taste is average.

The building is new & well maintainance. The facility, the location, the service and everything is perfect. The staffs are so friendly. We spent our christmas at there, and every event & activity are super cozy & beautiful. Mountain & beach view at the same location ♥️ we had a very good time to stay there. Super recommended!

Hotel was beautiful and felt like a high end hotel. Food was great at the Bistro and service was excellent. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Shuttle service was available to taxi us to and from hotel, which was great for the concert we attended. The setting and grounds (including the common areas, fire pits, pool area and private beach) were beautiful and exactly what you’d expect from a luxury hotel

After paying for high end hotel, it was difficult to enjoy some of the accommodations during our stay because it was very crowded and booked out. We did not get reservations in main dining because booked. We did not get to book round of golf even a month in advance because it was booked.

Everything. Grand entrance. Most beautiful breathtaking g lake & mountain views from lobby. Private beach. Amazing lawn for families. Pristine grounds. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Heated pool. Great spa. Perfect location. Several restaurants on site.

What’s not to like?! One suggestion would be bigger menu at the Bistro.

I’ve never said this before, but that was a near perfect stay. A truly wonderful hotel all around. Staff, location, room, amenities and guest experiences were all amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything made me happy. I especially loved the direct access to the lake, the year round pool and the quality of the rooms. The ambiance and lobby were outstanding. We will be back.

Bistro restaurant left a bit to be desired and the staff seemed slightly overwhelmed during breakfast.

The property is immaculate. The attention to detail is unmatched. We felt very relaxed and especially enjoyed the various board games available.

A non-optional resort fee?? What the hell is that! It’d be more honest if you just added it to the room rate.
