Apartment was in the perfect location, you could step out to the metro, shopping centre, Xmas markets and ice rink! Perfect for sight seeing, shopping… Apartment itself was on the top floor which meant 8 flights of stairs (4th floor but such high ceilings!) so beware of that! We went with my 70 year old mother in law and kids and it was fine though. It was spacious, kitchen and seating area were really big. Only one bathroom which was massive but the shower wasn’t great pressure and getting out the bath/shower was tricky as there’s nothing to hold on to and tiles around the bath. We were all fine, but would be an issue with someone who had mobility issues. Bedrooms were up another flight of stairs which was narrow, so again not ideal if you’ve got mobility issues! Bedrooms were a good size though and the views were lovely being so high. Beds were comfy, everything was clean. This was perfect for us, had everything we needed and in the right location, but if you don’t like stairs then don’t book it! I feel it reflected in the price though, it was good value. Was lovely and warm too, I was a bit worried being such an old building that it would be cold but it really wasn’t!

On the top floor, only one bathroom, bedrooms on a different floor to the bathroom. A bit noisy (but you get that being in the city!

The location was perfect for our stay. 10 mins walk from Brussels Central Station and the metro is outside the apartment. Perfect for using as a base camp to explore Brussels, or go further afield (as we used the apartment to go to Rock Werchter in Leuven and to visit Brugge with no hassle). The apartment itself is fairly big and easily housed 5 of us for the week without feeling cramped. The fold down couch bed is a double also. Plenty restaurants and shops nearby for food and good utilities inside the flat. Sam was an excellent host. We had trouble with the shower and Sam came out and fixed it within a few hours. He also responded quickly to any queries we had.

The bathroom could use some maintenance but other than that the apartment had everything we needed. As the apartment is on the main square it can get noisy outside until late. However, the Brussels Film Festival was on when we stayed so that's likely why.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable - comfortable lounge with Netflix available, the kitchen was a good size and the beds fairly comfortable. I loved the bathroom - it was very spacious and the water was nice and warm.

The heating throughout the house wasn’t great. There were a lot of narrow stairs to get up to our room. The storage for luggage was not secure if you happened to come early and want to store your luggage until check in time. The hand rails on the staircase was wobbly and broken in parts which was very dangerous.

Everything is straight forward. The apartment is very good sized and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Close to metro, restaurants, shops, etc.

The stairs to our apartment (4) was pretty steep and there are no elevators. Only an issue coming in with big luggages. No airconditioning for those hot nights.

Location is super central. The rooms were very spacious and clean. perfect for big groups! We also received food vouchers but there are a bunch of restaurants near by.

Central location also means that it can get pretty loud. Sam, even though very helpful, didnt reply to my message when i asked if we can leave some luggage somewhere as we were coming back to stay a few days later. but overall good experience

The apartment was clean. The location was great. The appliances were easy to use. The bed was very comfortable. The unit did not have A/C, but the cross venilation with the interior courtyard windows and the fan made the place very comfortable. Great having a washer and dryer that worked perfectly.

The hideabed couch was no longer comfortable to sit on.

Great apartment in the center of Brussels. The metro line is just in front of the place. Easy access and walkable to all city center areas. Check in was easy. Instructions from host was very thorough and straightforward. And the host was very attentive with questions.

The sound from the street can be quite loud at times. Everything else was fine.

Sam was a generous host and was available whenever we needed assistance. For example, he arranged for the pickup and delivery of our luggage that was lost while on route to a connecting flight. We definitely appreciated the local apartment manual he prepared and the travel brochures that were made available to us. The bed was very comfortable.

The apartment did not have air conditioning. The room was quite warm and the air was humid during our entire stay. Also, we informed our host of a couple of problems (could not open the bedroom window, fire alarm was disabled), none of which were repaired during our stay.

The apartment was beautiful and accommodating for our larger group (6 people). We truly enjoyed the cleanliness, look, and location of the apartment. Sam was beyond exceptional, he was so quick to respond and was extremely helpful. One of my friends ended up with food poisoning, and he was very quick to respond and suggested hospitals throughout the location if the problem progressed. I would 100% stay here again, and I suggest anyone considering it to stay here as well.
