I had a hot shower, clean room and comfortable bed. The women at the desk were very nice. The location was great for where I needed to be. The reviews made me expect a lot worse. You can even walk to the Newport Craft Brewery and Distillery if you want a nightcap after touring mansions. Less than $10 lyft ride to downtown. $20 to mansions (in october)... saves on parking & traffic.

The location (within the limits of Newport) makes this a little more expensive than you would typically pay for a motel where some of the other clientele might be living there. That being said, the staff does their best and I had no problems with my stay. I was comfortable and I felt safe (even as a woman traveling alone).

This is the third year I've rented with Motel6 during the Jazz festival weekend. I'm happy that they have made the needed renovations and upgrades to their rooms. I also like the addition of a microwave in my room.

I didn't like the AC/heating unit. It had an oder when I switched to heat, and it also looked like the filtering system was missing.

Despite all the bad reviews we've had a good 3 nights in this motel, so I want to raise their ratings. Good value for money, clean room, cheerful and nice staff. Plenty of parking, even though Booking.com says there's none. Situated conveniently next to a laundry and shopping center.

The floors were dirty that's true, and the weed smell is overpowering - like almost everywhere in the US, quite strange for someone from overseas.

I love everything about the property the room I had did not have a fridge and I had my two children with me so I went to the front desk and I asked if it’s possible to get a little refrigerator in there and they did they brought one in

I like that the bed was a queen sized bed. The linens were clean over all the room was very well cleaned. Towels were fresh and enough for two adults.

I honestly can not say that disliked anything at all. There was a shopping center next door that everything I needed. Staff was good to me.

Price was nice.

Mattress is stained and dirty but the linens were clean. Only 2 towels. Overall the building and rooms needs updates. Staff worked with what they have.
